Ive herd this alot, just from movies and such, but that once anyone starts dateing long term or marries they settle and gain weight. I have no idea if its true for everyone but for my husband and i its really aparent.

When i started dating kelly, who is actualy my first b/f, i weighed 165lbs.. i had no problem with that.. Being in college and out of the typical high school food made me gain about 5 to 10 pounds. Emeditly after dateing kelly i moived out on my own, causing me to only aford cheep bad foods, gaied about 10. So after about 2 years ish i got married at 180... NOT EVEN 5 MONTHS LATER... i was freaking to big to fit into my wedding dress, i cryed for 2 hours stright.

im about 210 now.. sadly depressing and my fault.. but could it be cus ive settled? maby. Kellys realy active guy hes only got weight since he moved out.. but hes also a guy.. they never gain weight.

Im trying for like the 10th time to get on atlest a regemit or plan. Bascily chicken, veggies, dariy, and wheet. No to little suggar, and no Soda, only sprite at resrunts since i dont trust their water.

Does anyone eles have this problem to? or am i just crazy

We both gained weight.
I fluctuate a lot, but I gained about 10 lbs after getting married and moving across the country. Now I lost all that weight and then some, I finally got into the groove of eating smaller portions, but still allowing treats. I also have a sensitive stomach and so if I eat smaller and cut out certain foods, my stomach doesn't hurt and that makes me happy.

I think one reason for the weight gain is we now have two people's eating habits to deal with. I know my husband isn't big on healthy foods and lots of veggies and can eat a lot...so when I make dinner, I have to make something he'll like too. But I do try to make the meal as healthy as possible.

And I know we should exercise more, but if I see him be lazy, then I want to be lazy too. We used to run together too, which was nice. We kind of stopped exercising during the winter, but with the warmer weather coming, we're starting to take more walks together. I know he'll start running in the mornings again and that gets me motivated to exercise too.

Oh yeah. I gained wieght and so did hubby. I put on about 15 pounds but I'm not toned like I used to be. I was all muscle before. Which he reminds me of every now and then evil But he got flabby too. he just seems to forget that.

I worked out with the tv exercise people every mornign after my daughter was born. I lost the extra pounds then I got pregnant with my son. Now he is 3 1/2 and I have no time or energy to exercise. I have a 3 1/2 and a 4 1/2 year old running me ragged. The farm is all my responsiblity since he works and earns all the money (oh that makes me so mad when he says that). So here I am! Love me the way I am!

Hon, eat healthy, smile at yourself and keep by his side. After you get used to eating really healthy then do some basic exercise in the morning and tone up. Maybe you can ride bikes together in good weather or go for walks together. Doing things with someone else is wonderful!

I've always been a little tubby girl. ;-;

I'm 180 right now. And I just keep thinking about how close I am to 200 pounds, it makes me so sad. But then, I've got huge freaking boobs and a pretty nice a** [if I do say so myself] so I don't realy have rolls. My weight confuses me. =/

And then my love is a freaking bean pole with a bit of muscle. IT'S SO FRUSTRATING! xD

Gorrific

So far both me and my husband have lost weight. Saturday was two weeks of marriage though, so maybe it changes (I hope not!).

We have actually both been eating healthier than before and we abuse the apartment swimming pool. So I know both of those things have been working. I hope we stay on the same track. We both will be walking most (to the bus stop which is a good ways away) of the way to work and then back again (since we can't afford what it costs for a parking spot).

My husband and I have definitely gained.
He keeps saying we should go work out, but we have yet to do so.
My husband says he thinks I haven't gained weight, but now all of my pants feel tighter. So either I am shrinking them, or I have gained. stressed

1) same here! but thankfully I don't have kids yet and apparently all the house chores are mine too.....

2)I've been trying to get us both to eat healthy. I love my bacon and portugese sausage and laulau... but I now have to cut back on the portions and add veggies and cut down on the rice. He hates it when I hardly give him any pasta with the sause and chicken cutlet but he can eat all the broccoly he wants (good thing he loves broccoli).
Our dietician says that he/we should walk for atleast 20 min a day 5 days a week. but failing that I think going to Ice Palace is good. (OMG we recently went there and I have'nt gone ice skating in like 15 years!! I loved it but ended up with alot of sore muscles that I never knew i had....It was worth it though)

when I got with my husband I was 187 (my lowest weight since I hit puberty) and still losing weight. But I ended up pregnant and gained WAY TOO much weight. I am 260 right now and I'm disgusted with myself. I finally did something about it though. I joined a gym and am trying to eat much healthier then ever before. My mom joined the gym with me so I have someone to help push me. I'm not trying to get down to any particular weight, i just want to be able to fit in certain seats, go to the fair and ride the rides, and be more fit for my daughter.

I've been losing TONS of weight since my wedding in May. whee But then, I did have a thyroid problem before that and now it's all nice and fixed. heart Plus, sex is one hell of a workout. xd So I've gone from 257lbs. to under 225. heart

Actually, I really think my thyroid problem was aggravated by the fact I took ADD meds. confused It was Hyperthyroidism, so my body thought I needed more and more and more food, so I was constantly hungry. You know, that stuff SUCKS. xd I stopped taking my meds entirely and started having serious problems.. gosh, it must have been months later. xd
