AIM RP Log - Felyn & Kisoni
Kiasi, Jiryan & Tutankhamon

Kiasi frowned, crossing her paws one over the other and tucking them against her chest. Shaji had taken most of the cubs out to play in the waterhole, but as was common with them, Jiryan and Tutsie had stayed behind to goof around together. She had noticed their affinity of sticking more to one another than the rest of the cubs on most occasions, but she supposed that this was better than Jiryan and Kat arguing as they were prone to.

Jiryan smirked to himself as he looked up at his mother, bright eyes settled on her form. "What're you frowning at, mum?" he asked with a casual air to his voice, pushing himself up onto his paws and walking a circle around the rock she had chosen to relax upon. Oh, but he had made a profession of being a pain in the a** and he knew just what that frown was for. He glanced over to his brother, mischeif dancing in his eyes, though a faux mask of innocence covered his face. He ignored his mother's eyebrow quirk, her eyes upon him, and simply did a little half-dance path around the big stone.

Tootsie frowned, an expression unconsiously similar to his mother's. He wasn't certain why Jiryan was always poking fun at the other members of the family, or running pranks on everyone. Oh, he'd done his share amount in return... but only because Jiryan had started it! At least, that was his excuse.

His own bright eyes drifted up to their mother upon the rock, then back to his brother. He tilted his head to the side in question and slowly rose to his own feet.

Kiasi's brow quirked and remained so, her eyes drifting down to her son as he half-danced around the rock, following him as best she could. She suspected he was up to something, but then, she always suspected that he was up to something. She had a good reason, after all, because he usually was. He was a pawful, to say the least, and he usually roped little Tootsie into whatever he was doing. "I'm only frowning because I'm wondering what you are up to, little boy." She leaned slightly to bat at his tail, a smirk on her maw.

Jiryan skittered away as his mother batted at his tail, eyebrows furrowing as he loped over to stand beside Tootsie. "I'm not up to anything," he admittedly blandly, and it was for once the truth. His mother was the hardest to play tricks on of all - it was much easier to fool his sisters or Shaji. He shifted his gaze to his brother, a smirk much like his mother's spreading across his dark mug. He leaned in to n** at his brother's tail before dashing of with a small peal of laughter. He was a light-hearted creature, prone to fun and games whenever possible.

"HEY!" tootsie yelled at him, though there was a note of amusement in it. The younger of the two boys glanced up at his mother for a second, then ran after the darker male. "Get back here!!"

He prefered his brother's company to their sisters, quite frankly. With the other males he knew what he could or couldn't do.. whereas the girls were always a little particular about what games they would play or what extreme of rough housing was allowed. Sensitive little things. Tootsie just didn't understand.

Jiryan cackled as he ran off, leaping up to scramble up the rock where his mother lay. With a smirkish grin, he crawled up onto her back despite her protests, and peered down at his brother from his perch. "Can't get me from heeere," he called tauntingly, shifting around to get comfortable where he was sitting.

He liked playing with Tootsie more than he did the girls - they cried a lot, and whined, and Kat was just a big spoil sport all the time. He could play with Tootsie all he wanted and he didn't have to worry about him getting too grumpy or giving up.

Kiasi huffed, frowning as her son scrambled up onto her back. He wasn't the most graceful of creatures to be honest, and his tiny paws weren't all that comfortable when they dug into her spine. She shifted, turning to look back at him, then peered down at Tootsie. "I'd almost say that was cheating, little man," she said with a smirk, sitting up and sending Jiryan half tumbling and half scrambling back down until he sprawled out in a clumsy heap on the rock.

"No fair," he whined slowly, sprawled out and now at a disadvantage - Tootsie would get to him any second!

It was good for their mother that she'd decided to relieve herself of her wayward passenger. otherwise, she'd been about to have two. Tootsie managed to stop before he leapt upon her, however, and tackled his brother instead. "It IS cheating!" he yelled, tangling his limbs up with Jiryan' sand making to bite his brother's ear.

"No it's not!" he cried, wiggling and trying to get up onto his paws before his brother could get him - but too late! He squeaked lightly as he pushed back down, wiggling his head from side-to-side in an attempt to pull his ear away from his brother's nipping teeth. He dug his little claws into the rock, using them to pull himself away from his brother's tangling limbs.

"And now," she said with a little smirk, leaning in to scoop up one boy in each paw, "I have caught you both!" She let out a peal of overdramatic laughter escape her paw as she flopped back down, securely holding both of her wiggling boys against her chest once she rolled onto her back.

"Ack no!!" Tootsie managed to gasp out, and tried to turn and run but it was too late--he was too entwined with Jiryan and too slow to escape the lioness's paws. "AH MOM!!!" The boy wriggled against her, attempting to push away from her chest. "No fair!! You're not allowed to play!!"

She tilted her head as she peered at them, her ears twitching as a slight frown creased her maw. "And why not?" she said, wiggling him against her chest, using her paw to tickle his side with a wicked little smirk.

Jiryan tried to pull himself away from his mother, groaning as he pushed against her chest and tried to wriggle out from beneath her paw. "Cause you're bigger than us!" he whined, tail flopping agains her, "it gives you an.. uhmm.." Jiryan frowned and paused his escape attempts as he tried to think of what he was trying to say. With a frown, he glanced at his brother for help with his wording.

"And you're a GIRL!" Tootsie protested. "Girl's arn't supposed to play like this!" He rabbit kicked a bit at his mother's chest.. but he knew he wasn't about to get away from her. Finally, with a huff, Tootsie went limp in her arms.

He looked at his brother with an obviously exasperated expression, "Advantage."

"Yea, an advantage, like Tootsie said!" he said with a huff, flopping against his mother's chest much like his brother just had. He crossed his arms against his chest with a bit of a huff, eyeing his mother from the corner of his eyes. "You're not supposed to play though, it's supposed to just be me and Tootsie, cause.. girls' aren't supposed to play like this." He coughed, turning his eyes away, as if he were trying to hide the fact that he had just copied his brother word for word because of his own inability to provide a good reason.

Kiasi let a slow smile spread across her maw, trying her hardest not to laugh at Jiryan. He was a good kid, but obviously not the brightest bulb in the box sometimes - she didn't know where he'd be if Tootsie ever decided to have a life of his own. "Oh yeah? Who says girls can't play like this? Kat plays this way all the time." She really had no interest in playing or not playing, she just liked to give them a hard time.

"Because they just don't!" Tootsie replied, "Girls are supposed to sit around and.. and look pretty! Like you!" Okay, a little flattery usually helped in these situations, and he saw no reason why it wouldn't now. He did not, however, push his luck so far as to try and look innocent when he said it.

She let out a small laugh at Tootsie's reasoning and finally relinquished her hold upon the boys. Oh, she knew it was one of their, or rather, his tactics at getting what he wanted but a little flattery went a long way in life. She nudged them both with a paw and shut her eyes, "you two are full of little surprises."

Jiryan blinked as he looked down at his mother, then across at his brother, and then down at her again. Well, he hadn't actually expected that to work but he wasn't about to go saying that! His expression went from slight confusion to a wicked grin, and he pushed himself up just in time to leap at his brother. If mom had let him go, he might as well take him by surprise!

Tootsie ran a tongue over his shoulder when their mother put them down. He'd made a gamble and he'd won it--this time anyway. He was feeling rather proud of himself for that and never epected Jiryan's attack.

As such, the younger brother went down under his older one with a surprised yelp. This time on the recieving end, he found it just as hard to counter as Jiryan had before hand. "AHHG!" The boy yelled inarticularly, pushing and kicking at the other cub with all four paws.

Jiryan cackled as he triumphed, throwing his weight onto his brother in an attempt to keep him pinned. He wiggled as he was pushed at, but managed to latch his teeth onto Tootsie's ear and give a good gnaw. "I gow yoo!" he mumbled from between bites, though he relinquished his grip as his mother began to shift beneath them.

Kiasi simply chuckled, pushing herself up slowly, and shifting so that they landed carefully on their little rumps upon the rock. She moved, stretching slowly, her eyes shut as she did so.

"Aww, mom no fair!" he cried out as he was settled on his rump, disentangled from Tootsie and therefore losing the temporary advantage he had had.

Jiryan tumbled away from the mess, more than happy to be let go. He righted himself, and then shook his fur out. Whether it was smart or suicidal, he didn't take the advantage. Instead, he began to slink slowly away. Once he judged himself out of Jiryan's perephiral vision, he dashed off across the savanahh.

Being the rather slow cub that he was, Jiryan was busy sulking at his mother when Tootside began to inch away. He had been just about to say something else to her when he noticed that he could no longer see where his brother was. Whipping his head around just in time to see the male darting off, he let out a playful growl and pushed himself up onto his paws. "No fair," he cried out as he chased after him, "get back here Tootsie!"

Kiasi simply let out a long, slow laugh as she watched the two boys chase off. No need for her to get all worked up running after them - they'd have to stop sooner or later, and all their energy would be spent at that point. Maybe then they'd sleep. With a little dainty sigh and a toss of her head, she slowly sauntered her way after them. Her boys were really such a handful.

"Catch me!" Tootsie challenged him with a happy cackle. Strangely the boy didn't at all mind his "cute" nick name. He'd gotten so used to it, in fact, he never even bothered to think about the fact that it had a rather girlish ring to it. Instead, it was just the most convinent way to shorten his name. Perhaps that would change, one day. "Bet you can't!"

Jiryan frowned as he chased down his brother, trying desperately to close the gap between the two of them. "I.. can so!" he panted out as he dwindled off after him, nearly out of site of their lackadaisical mother. He'd get him, he would!

Kiasi simply smirked as they disappeared from her vision - they couldn't keep that pace up for long, and then after they had grown tired and weary there would be silence. Joyous silence and the sound of little cubby snores.
