This is a story I've been working on. Hope you like it!

1. School.

Kairi was running though the streets, trying to get to her school. '' Crap! I'm going to be late! Why did I have to feed so late last night?!'' She thought as she dashed though the school parking lot, ran though the doors of her school. She quickly went to her locker, opened it and stuffed her book bag in it and took off to her first class. She quietly tip-toed to her seat and sat down. '' You're late again, Miss Swan.'' The teacher said, as he wrote something on the chalkboard. '' Sorry, Mr. Gauguin.'' She said, taking out her schoolwork and started working on it. The rest of the day went by fast and she packed up her schoolwork and went off to her art class. She grabbed the picture that she was working on and sat down. She was working on a soft pastel picture of her ginger colored cat. When class was over and the school was done for the day, she walked to her job, hopping, maybe, just maybe, she'll see that boy again. She got to her job and started taking orders from everyone. Work felt very slow to her, but as long as she's away from her parents for a while, she's happy...for now. After work, Kairi walked to the park, thinking about that boy and what happened then. '' Wow, I can't believe that it been three years since I met him and was bitten. I wonder why he left so suddenly?'' She said softly to herself as she looked at the sunset and smiled.

3. The Abusive Parents
As Kairi ran to her house, she tripped over someone’s leg, but didn’t look to see who it was. She heard the person yell. ‘’ Hey! Be more careful, miss!’’ When she got to her house, she opened the door and as soon as she was in, a hand slapped her across the face and she fell on the floor. '' You're late! Get in the room!'' Her dad said in anger. ''Y-yes dad.'' Dan carefully followed her to her house, making sure that she didn't see him. He climbed quietly, without her parents knowing, into her room and hid behind the door, waiting. Two hours later, she limped up the stairs and went into her room. She grabbed a wrap and started wrapping her leg and cleaned off the blood. He watched her clean off the blood. He whispered politely where she could only hear. '' Are you alright?'' After a few minutes, he spoke again. '' Aren't you a half witch? Did you learn how to heal your self yet? Also as a vampire, you should be able to heal pretty fast.'' She sighed as she sat down on her bed. '' Look, I stopped using magic three years ago because that only makes my parents even more angry. I have five more months till I go to collage and can get away from them. They do this cause I'm a outsider and people find me weird, so they used to just hit me till I was bitten and they got even more mad and started using a whip and once a month, I get a broken leg or arm and some cuts, but those heal pretty fast but the broken ones take a while.'' She said looking at Dan. Dan sat beside her on her bed and spoke softly again. '' Oh, so you stopped. But using whips? That’s pretty harsh isn't it...Well; I guess they wouldn't know that it still hurts, no matter that race, eh? I know what I'm saying, should be told to your parents, but being different is sometimes good, right? You know our kind lurks out around here at night. Lets say that a bunch of blood thirsty vampires come marching into the house, wouldn't they be happy that you saved them? You know what? Forget what I said now. I don't think I'm helping much. But why are they mad?'' He asked curiously. '' I don't know. I guess they are mad at me cause I'm half witch and now a vampire as well. It just got them mad, so they started using whips. Also cause I never made friends with anyone in my school cause of me being different. You're the only one that doesn't look at me funny.'' She said. ''You know, I've been wondering, how are you a half witch? Your parents are mad also because you didn't make any friends, parents love to just poking their noses in our problems...My dad did that, I hated it. Anyway, why would I look at you funny? You're the most prettiest girl I've even seen, I can't believe that not that many guys haven't taken a chance, not to mention girls. You're sweet, charming, funny..'' He stopped talking, thinking that he'd said too much then had intended to. '' I don't know how I'm a half witch. R-really? You think I'm pretty? That’s a first time anyone told me that.'' She said smiling. He smiled. ''Of course you're pretty...'' He reached out and rolled her dark red hair then let go.

5. The other side.


After they ate, Dan paid the bill and slowly got up, waiting for Kairi. She got up, feeling a little odd and left the building with him. She wondered if he had changed a lot the past three years. He just didn’t seem like the person he was then, but then again, she didn’t talk to him that much before he bit her. Why DID he bite her? Her head started hurting a little as she got into the car. She thought that she had felt someone watching her somewhere, and looked, but didn’t see anyone and sighed. He got in the car as well. He turned to her to say something when his eyes widened a little and she slowly turned her head to what he looking at. A man was standing outside of the car window, glaring at Kairi then at Dan. Dan sighed as he got out of the car and walked over to the man. ‘’Why are you here, Dan?!’’ The man said. ‘’ Like I told you three years ago, I wanted to meet the girl that been in my dreams. After our little fight, when I went out, I saw her and went over to her…But… I bit her.’’ ‘’Ah, yes, you bit her and I sent you away to keep you away from her like I should have before you met! Now that you bit her, I want you to… kill her.’’ WHAT?! No way I’m doing that!’’ ‘’Then, I’ll have your other side do it.’’ ‘’No! n-‘’ He stopped when his brother said something and Dan’s eyes went red like when he first bit Kairi. His other side has been brought out once again. ‘’ Hello, Rhys. Would you please do it?’’ Rhys smiled evilly as he turned to Kairi. But she wasn’t there anymore, she was running to the park, trying to get as far away from him as she could, but couldn’t since her leg was still broken and tripped and fell on the ground. ‘’ Oh no! Why they have to break my leg today!?’’ She thought as she tried to move but when she thought he was gone, he was right behind her and picked her up by her neck, inches from the ground. She tried to breathe as she was picked up by her neck and tried to kick him with her good leg. ‘’ Ready to die?’’ Rhys said. He pulled out an odd looking knife and put it near her chest. ‘’Da- Dan, please come back.’’ She said, barely able to get it out due to him holding her by the neck. ‘’Dan isn’t coming back; I’m in change of this body now. Your parents will be so happy about their dumb outsider being dead. They won’t have to deal with you anymore.’’ Rhys said laughing. ‘’Say good bye, little girl. If you can.’’ He lifted his knife in the air, getting ready to plunge his knife into her beating heart. As he was about to do that, she sink her teeth into his hand, pressing down hard on his flesh, causing him to drop her at once and she said something really fast and she disappeared in thin air. ‘’What!? Where the hell did she go!?’’ Rhys yelled hitting a tree, causing it to break and fall. ‘’Lost the girl, Rhys?’’ His brother said walking over to him. Rhys growled at him. ‘’Shut it, Tom. Do you want me to kill you as well?’’ ‘’You know what will happen if you tried that. You’ll die. Now, let Dan out and make him suffer for what he did.’’ Tom said the same spell before and Dan changed back to himself. ‘’What did you do with her!? If you hurt her, I’ll kill you!’’ ‘’Relax, Dan. I didn’t hurt her.. Your other side killed her.’’ ‘’Wh- WHAT!? No, NO!’’ Dan yelled, falling down to his knees, crying. ‘’I warned you if you got to close to her, your other side would do this. That’s why I sent you away, so Rhys couldn’t kill her.’’ Tom said. ‘’ I tried to stop him but by the time I got here, he already finished her off. Now, let’s get you home.’’ Tom lifted Dan’s arm and pulled him to make him start walking and went back to his house. Kairi landed at her school and had crashed into a person there, making both of them go down the stairs. ‘’ I’m ssoo sorry!’’ ‘’ It’s alright. But you should take better care of your magic or that is just going to keep happening.’’ The girl said standing up with her hand out to help Kairi up. ‘’Thanks. You won’t tell anyone of me having you know? Magic?’’ ‘’Don’t worry, I won’t. I’m Aza. ‘’ I’m Kairi. So, you’re starting at this school?’’ ‘’ Yeah, I’m starting tomorrow. Looks nice. So, where do you live?’’ ‘’I live about three, five miles away from here.’’ Kairi said pointing to where her house was as they walked out of the school. ‘’You?’’ ‘’I don’t know yet. My aunt dropped me off here to look around while she got her stuff in. She’s going to pick me up in a bit. How did you hurt your leg?’’ Aza asked ‘’ Oh, my- I fell down the stairs at my house. I seem to do that once in a while. I better get back to my parents. See ya Monday.’’ Kairi said as she walked off to her house, limping. When Kairi got to her house, she quietly limped up to her room and went into her room, sitting down on her bed and placed her head on her hands, sighing as she thought of Dan. ‘’I don’t get it, one minute he’s sweet and kind then his other side came out? Why didn’t he tell me before? Is that why he bite me? Why he was so sorry about? I want to see him but I also don’t want to risk of him getting hurt by that guy. Didn’t even get to tell him something I been wanting to say for a while.’’ She said softly to her self as she laid down and fell asleep. Tom and Dan were at his old house and Dan was in his old room, crying and Tom was in his room as well, waiting for his slave to come with news. The door opened and a girl came in and bowed to him. ‘’Hello, sir.’’ ‘’Hello, Aza, did you find her?’’ ‘’Better, she crashed into me and talked to me for a bit then told me where she lives. Idiot for telling for telling someone whom she barely knew.’’ Aza said, taking off her jacket and placed it near the door. ‘’ Where does she live?’’ ‘’Two miles from the school and she was limping.’’ ‘’Good, she won’t able to fight back as well as before.’’ ‘’So, why is Danny boy crying?’’ ‘’I told him that his other side killed her, little does he know that he’ll watch her be in pain.’’ ‘’ But, if you do that, Dan will kill you.’’ ‘’Not when I so easily make him turn into his other side. You see, as long as I got the spell to control him, he can’t do a thing. Plus, if his other side did it, it will be ssoo painful then how I would do it. ‘’ ‘’ Pray tell, why do you want her dead? She’s pretty harmless isn’t she?’’ ‘’ Not when she could break the curse on Dan, she’s the only one who can brake it, other then me.’’ ‘’Really? Interesting. And how could she brake it when she’s only a vampire?’’ ‘’Because, she’s also a half witch AND is the one that Dan is going to be with. He shouldn’t have bitten her or this wouldn’t be happening.’’ ‘’ If you kill her in fount of him, he’ll kill himself to be with her!’’ ‘’Huh, didn’t think about that. Oh that’s right. LIKE I SAID A MINTIE AGO, I’LL TURN HIM BACK TO RHYS!’’ Tom yelled loudly but still a little soft so Dan won’t hear. ‘’We’ll get her in three days and set our plan in motion.’’ ‘’Yes, sir. I’ll retire to my room. Good night, master.’’ With that said, she bowed and left the room.
