 It was a beautiful day and growing forest entisted Cadi to go exploring. Sneaking out of house and valley without no one knowing that she had left what a hard feat. Especialy with Jayn being so motherly towards her. She didn't mind but there were times that she wanted to be alone to explore and this was one of those times.
Cadi was pokeing her nose into everything that she could and that didn't bite back. Wandering the forest somewhat near HQ as she was learning the land around her. It had been slightly muddy as now her paws were caked with mud, but she didn't care that she was dirty. She was so enjoying it.

Mud, mud, MUD!
It was everywhere. D8;
"Eww, eww, eww~" Diagon, shook his small paws from the smeared earth that clung to him. Not that he never cared about his appearance, he just hated the time wasted cleaning up afterwards. Keeping tails high, the young male marched lightly toward HQ. Maybe his parents were there, well at least his mom. Who knew where his Nightmare father was. With grey eyes tired and bored, the kitsu continued on his way. If he was lucky, there may be books to learn more magic too.

Ears perked when she heard the voice of another. Walking quietly towards the source and spotted a nother like her but only sligtly larger than her. Smileing as a thought crossed her mind that he would be so fun to pounce on or at least try and maybe get more muddy too. The only thing that almost stoped her was that if she came home muddy, Jayn would be there to scold her for doing such a thing that was not for girls to be doing. Shakeing that thought free as she watched the other carefully walk around all the really muddy holes.
Croutching low to the ground to waiting for him to get closer. Tails twitched on the ground waiting for the right time. Butt wiggled as the other got closer and darted out of her bush pouncing the other, with a very big smile on her face.

Gasp! He was almost clear of the mud now! Diagon smirked to himself as he eyed the dry dirt so close in front of him, a good jog ahead. But if he ran, it may kick up more muck and it was likely that he would slip. So, with a sigh of patience, the kit walked slowly.
That is....until his nose twitched. What was that? Grey ears quivered as he heard sloshing behind him, and nervously he peeked around. Too late. The bush was a successful hiding spot, and Diagon was just now realizing the other kit's 'attack'. Flailing in place, the male pointed startled at the green girl. Then he was tackled, her weight crashing into him and slapping his back onto....the mud. DX
Growling in fustration, Diagon could do nothing but pout at the girl.

Smiling widely as her 'attack' had been sucessful. She looked down at the other to see that he wasn't all that happy to be pounced. Getting off the other a little pouty too at the fact that he wasn't fun with that look on his face. "Well your no fun with that look on your face. You were supose to wrestle me in the mud," she said glareing at him.
Then a little nagging voice told her to try and be somewhat polite and helped the other to his feet. "Sorry about that," as she rubbed her head getting mud on her face in the process too."But you looked so pounceable and also I'm Cadi," she offered with a slight grin.

Well, all good and sweel that she was having fun. That made one of them. But Diagon was a stubborn kit, hardly ever laughing and more like grunting to things. The only joy he ever found was in magic. And this girl on him was NOT magic. Pinning his light ears, Diagon shrugged and pushed on her as she moved away.
"I don't wrestle in mud. I wrestle with wands. Duh." It was less dirty and more fun, in his opinion. Tails flicked as he rolled onto his feet, frowning at his messy body. Now he looked like he had brown fur instead of vanilla and charcoal. "Yeah yeah..." Was she really sorry? Or was she just saying it cause it was expected? Diagon brushed his shoulders off but to no use. "Well, I'm not. Do I look like a pillow?" Well....maybe a toasted marshmellow. "Mmm, my name is Diagon."

Cadi didn't mind at being pushed and recovered from it, thinking. "Wands, what are they?" she asked and gave him a puzzled look. There wasn't anyone that used wands. Cadi might be a tomboy but she also like to learn things as long as it wasn't too boring. "Well its nice to meet you, Diagon," she would have lightly punched him with her paw but thought that she shouldn't do it as it might make him more angry at her. All she wanted to do was to play. "Other than wrestling with wands, what other things do you like to do?" she asked sheephy as she was curious as well.

This girl didn't know what a wand is? Well, then at least now he knew one think. She wasn't related to him at all with his laaaarge family. Diagon tilted his head, some mud slipping off to the ground. "Well, a wand is like a stick, but better. And it can spit out magic when you tell it to." Yes, it was an amazing toy.
Oops, not toy. A tool, like his family said.
The boy shrugged in return greeting to the girl stranger, perking an ear as she spoke. "Huhh? What else is there to do? You play...er, practice with the wand. Then you spend more time studying about it." There was no time for other hobbies.

She listen to what he had said and thought that the wands would be cool to play with. They were sorta like stick swords that she would play with some of her house mates. "Thats cool, but what is magic anyway," she asked. She knew what the word ment but had never seen anyone do it. She had seen magical creatures as some of those were her house mates but there magic was more of an inborn ablity.
"Well that sounds fun too," she shurged. She liked physical activities the most, but a little book work was fun to a point. "Then what type of books do you like to read then?"

"Gah." Diagon refrained from tugging on his hair, stunned by having to explain magic for the first time. It wasn't easy, not at all. And he figured the dictionary term wouldn't help in this case. "Goodness Cadi, haven't you ever seen magic before?" It was a shame he didn't have a wand with him....they had yet to find one to match his individual qualities.
"Magic can be like anything. From making pretty fireworks out of flowers, to having rocks float." Of course, it took different levels of skill to accomplish. His ears tell to the topic of books, his mind instantly filling with sentences and formulas. "Textbooks and study books...."

"No I haven't. Just the abilities that some of my housemates have." she said picking the now drying mud from her paws out of habit. "Could you show me some magic some time," she asked sheephly.
"That sounds so cool. One of my housemates, Jayn. She is a Kitsu too and she can make vines move when she touches the ground, but that is more of an ability than anything." she said as her tails swished back and forth. "Those books do sound intregeing," Tho she did wonder what type of books they were. So far Jayn hadn't found any books that she liked besides picture books.

The male sighed to himself, shaking his head. What a shame for the world to miss out on magic. Frowning to the odd feel of mud clinging his fur, Diagon shrugged and turned to leave. He wasn't always the most polite when it came to visiting others. But alas, he was still young and full of his own curiousities. What time was there to bother with others?
"Can't show you, I don't have a wand yet." Darn it! Just because he was curious and difficult, why did they restrict him from wands? Not fair~ An ear flicked as he walked. "Oh? Sounds cool." You know, controlling plants and stuff.

As Diagon was leaving, Cadi just followed along. As he didn't state that she wasn't to follow. Tho she did wonder where she was as this was farther than she had ever come. "So were are we exactly. I have never been to this part of the forest. Also do you know were some water is? This mud is getting anowing as it dries," she said and she wanted to play in it more but she wanted to learn more about Diagon and what he knew over rided her want to play.
"Maybe some other time when you do get your wand." Tho she did want to see now but thought it was best to wait for a nother time. "Some time I will have to bring Jayn around, where she can show you. But it might be a lot later as she is afrade of others," Well at least the until she knew that they wouldn't hurt her, Cadi thought.

Ears pinned, knowing the other was following him. No real problem, he didn't mind. Eyes turned to the sky as she asked about their location. "Hmm, to be honest, I don't travel that much either. But we are still near the HQ, just toward the back of it." At the mention of water, the boy turned without a word and walked in a new direction. Yep, he knew where water was. "Yeah well...you shouldn't have pounced me..."
"Hah, sounds like a deal then. You show me plant girl abilities and I'll show you wand stuff. Yeah?" No real rush. It wasn't long before they reached some bushes, and after poking through to the other side, they met water. A shallow little pond...more like a wide puddle to play in.

Listening to what he said and wondered..."What is HQ?" she asked not really knowing as she lived a good distance from this location. Giveing a sheepish grin on her face "Sorry about that. I just love to pounce. Its just so much fun," She did it more or less for the reaction she would get from the others she pounced. As she did it to all of her house makes and just about anything that moved.
She followed him to were some water was. "Its a deal, then," she said as she slowly waded into the water as not to stur up anymore of the mud on the bottem as she started to get the dry mud off her fur.
