At the beginning of time there was a group of godlike creatures who left the heavens and came down here. These beings had the power to change their form into animals. Instead of being hunted, they were worshipped for their shapeshifting.
Wizards who lusted for that power collected their DNA and created a virus that made them able to do the same but these new Werefolk were even more powerful and spread like wild fire. Throughout millions of years the virus was weakened by many anti viruses that led to now as Werefolk hide their secret and master their disease and achieve great power that was lost.
The originals were great but were not as powerful, the new ones were immune to weapons but vulnerable to silver. The old ones were wounded normally but could control themselves. A Werefolk can learn and master his power through much trainning. The disease is called "Lycanthropy"
The creatures forget everything of their human life in Wereform and humans wont remember the power of their wereform, only remembering what they do. Fully developed Werefolk could turn into a Beast man, half man, half beast where they remember both forms and powers.

Ok, now you will start off as a Werefolk who doesn't have full control yet. If you speak with Tomha or myself we may allow you to skip a few minor details in the process to gaining control.
