Kisirani was mad. It had been a long time since she had been turned down. How dare he do that! She would offer him everything, and he still wouldn't bite. b*****d. All she could see was the colour red, but she couldn't keep her paws from carrying her to areas that she didn't know.

"Cursed males," she muttered under her breathe. She paused, closing her eyes to try and get herself to calm down. It was still dark, and wandering out by yourself while not paying attention was dangerous. She looked upwards to the sky, only seeing a sliver of the moon. Ugh, great. No moon to watch and count on to help calm her down.

She wandered a bit more, finding a very small pool of water. Flopping next to it, she rested her head on her forepaws, watching the surface ripple whenever she breathed on the surface. Here, she would think about what to do next.

Dath wandered aimlessly. He was always bored lately, and it was starting to get to him, actually. He had started to consider just sticking with Laana for now, since that was where his mind seemed to wander the most. But then he also rebelled against the idea of sticking with one, especially a mortal. Conflict in his heart was very common. So for now, he would wander as he normally did.

His golden eyes caught sight of a form flopping down. Hmmm. Best to check it out, if only for a moment's diversion. He made his way over there in short time, ears perked forward. It was hard to exactly see in the dark, but with that form it was obvious the lion was a female.

"Quite a night to be alone, isn't it?" he asked, looking up at the night sky instead of her. He had hidden all of his god-like features, since he didnt want to get pinned about that. It was honestly getting irritating when he was wandering around. Being a 'mortal' was much more fun, anyway.

"I suppose," she said softly, not turning to see who her visitor was. It was obvious with the voice that it was a male, and a large one at that. Who cared? She wasn't up to being the flirt that she normally was. No, she was more intent on letting the sun rise so she could start anew with a new day. The moon wasn't even out to comfort her.

Her tail twitched as she finally took the chance of looking up at the male. A red coat, similar to hers, but nothing out of the ordinary. It almost seemed like his head was floating, since he must have had a black mane. Quite something to look at, and it had caught her off guard.

"Can I help you?" she asked with a touch of impatience.

He grinned, but didn't think that she'd be able to see it. Well, obviously one that didn't want anything to do with him. He was a touch irritated, but it was easy enough to brush it away with little thought. He was too vain to worry too much of how she felt about him.

"Oh? You get to the point, don't you?" he chuckled, ignoring the irritation in her voice. He'd talk with her a bit, then move on. Nothing really big.

"I'm just merely enjoying the night. Is there something so wrong with that?"

"I always do," she said with a cool tone. She didn't know who he was, but she wasn't in the mood to offer her services. Maybe he knew, maybe he didn't. She didn't feel like asking, just in case he wasn't one that knew about her. Her tail twitched before it flopped near her side, the lioness' blue eyes looking upwards at the stranger again. His legs....interesting markings. Flames. But black flames, like a monster. She let her eyes roll back towards the water's surface, looking at the sliver of the moon that wiggled in the water.

"Is there something wrong with that?" she asked quietly, keeping her eyes on the water's surface. It was an innocent question when taken at face value, but it was her version of telling him to go away and mind his own business. Too bad it wouldn't work very well for him.

Hmph. She wasn't obviously enjoying his company. He didn't understand why, with his huge ego always blinding him. He shifted around a bit, wondering just what to do next. He honestly did like conversing with mortals, but for some reason they never seemed to like him, whether he was acting as a god or acting as a mortal.

"No, nothing wrong. You just seem quite...uncomfortable," he said with a grunt. She could say the same about him, though. "I had been hoping to enjoy the night with someone else, but perhaps I should just move along...."

He didn' tknow just what he had actually said that would bother her, but it was always fun to poke around and try to make others lose their cools. She seemed to be keeping herself together. Perhaps with a bit more prodding she'd lose her temper on him, and he'd have his chuckle for the evening.

Hmmm. Now to decide whether he knew what he was saying, or if it was just a stroke of luck. She narrowed her eyes as she looked over his body features. He didn't seem to give away and lust-like desires, but that didn't mean that he wasn't good at hiding it. He seemed to be a little bit more humerous and joking than anything. She sighed, shuffling herself around to make herself more settled and comfortable. At least that younger lion was much sweeter. She almost felt like visiting him again.

"Well, you may ask that, but that doesn't mean that I will agree to it," she said. She didn't need anything, so she also didn't need to seek out any males. She felt safe, she had a content stomache, and she decided that she'd sleep here for the night. Check, check, and check. So she wasn't going to offer anything to him.

"Oh, really?" He wasn't expecting to hear that at all. He was expecting to get some sort of outburst, as many females were easily offended when they were treated as such. He let out a wry grin as his tail swished behind him.

He took a couple steps forward, his eyes taking a new look at the female that reclined in front of him. He didn't actually want anything, but it still made him a little bit more interested in her.

"Oh, really now? Are you just playing hard to get, or are you truely hard to get?" He couldn't help but chuckle a little as he asked that.

"I am hard to aquire," she commented, quickly growing bored. She was going to leave soon, she knew it. She didn't care if he followed. If he did, she'd be forced to go to one of her 'friends', someone she visited often to get him chased away. What a pain in the rear to have to deal with tonight. She just wanted to have one lovely night alone.

"Enough so that I do not go out and ask," she said with a sharp tongue. "I am myself, I do what I want, and not whomever may ask. I am not desperate, I am above all of that." She huffed, still feeling a little irritated. She hoped he'd just go away soon. He didn't even smell that good, either. Something...weird. She couldn't quite place it.

"Nothing is unattainable," he commented. It was the truth to him. He hadn't gotten everything that he desired, but he was on that road to get it all. He grinned, just thinking about it. Life was going good for him. It didn't matter what this lioness said; his own mind was able to give him an ego trip. His tail swished behind him with pleasure, his mind wandering off to the things he would be doing in the next few weeks. Sounded good to him!

"But if you want to leave yourself that way, then by all means..." Females. They always thought they were better, didn't they? He couldn't help but think about his sister. She always seemed to get the upper hand, and he never quite understood why. Someday he might, but for now it would only frusterate him.

"In some aspects, that can be true," she said, turning away from the other. She didn't feel like facing him anymore, and hopefully he would take the hint. "But if there are any regards against me, well, you'll be disappointed."

She was starting to get a bit uncomfortable now. While he wasn't pressing for anything, she still just wished that he would go away. She didn't know if she could outrun him if it came to that.

"Now, I'd like it if I could enjoy the rest of my evening in peace, please," she said, dismissing him.

Bah. Fine. He actually wasn't really in the mood to fight with anyone. She didn't know anything about him, and probably would barely recognized him if they ever crossed paths again, so he worried little about his 'image'. He decided that it would probably be best to move on and find someone else who might be a little bit more entertaining than this lioness.

"Fine, fine. Enjoy your evening, mistress, since you certainly demand for it." He huffed a bit, swirling around to walk away with little more than a twitch of his tail towards the female. That was alright, he'd go see if Laana was stilla wake and bug her. He was growing more and more comfortable with the lioness....wasn't he? He didn't realize it, but he would, eventually.

"Thank you," she replied, noticing that all she saw of him was his back, and then soon nothing. Silence quickly made its way back to the savannah that she was lying in.

"And thank goodness," she said quietly, letting her mind drift like the water that was next to her. It felt good, something that she hadn't done for a while. She thought about the males in her life, wondering if she'd see some of them again. Some where kind, others not. She wondered if she ever hurt them. She did her best for them to not get attached to her, but what could you do? She couldn't control feelings.

And with that, she drifted into a light sleep, soon to awaken and move again to a more secure location to sleep in.
