"I have always wondered...is korn considered metal? Hmm...i like metal but i don't know any 'metal' bands so ppl say some bands aren't ugh mkaes me confused...and Shade WTF!?!?!"

I used to listen to metal alot. I got bored of it though.
But then again I listen to everything really.. Im a 'music whore.' I listen to almost anything and everything. So I dont really stick with any bands long enough to know them inside out.. there is way to much to listen to out there and I want to be able to enjoy it all.
I like the ones with classical influence like nightwish the best though. I used to listen to metalica alot.. mainly the black album and I still like that one. Iced earth is pretty good to.
As for death metal, or screaming music, or whatever people are calling it these days I used to listen to slipknot and kittie. (I think I just spelled slipknot wrong and Im too lazy to look it up. Im sure thorn or someone will correct me if I did. I suck at spelling.) However I rarely listen to them anymore and there are only a few songs I still really like for the beat. Im not angry enough anymore I guess.
Is Ozzy considered metal? I always looked at it as rock but I know Kiss was considered metal in its day. Personaly I love both of those bands. Things have obviously changed alot.
I would not consider myself a metal head. Maybe Im a shock rocker. I dont really know and I dont really care. I doubt even that though. Organ music makes me swoon too much to be a anything rocker.
Anyway Im going to end my rant there before I start writing a book.

Kittie and Slipknot are not metal, Let alone death metal. Death metal would be Cannible Corpse or Nile. And I used to listen to SOAD when I listened to classic rock and Nirvannah.
