Chernabog was wandering his newly staked territory, the land was shadowed yet lush with greenery. Water was for to either side of the land he had lain claim to, the only downside of the area. What he loved most were the dens, jagged stone rose up from the earth to give a perfect shelter beneath and vantage point above. Smaller outcroppings of stones could serve as private dens for his future lords and ladies, it would allow them to defend and encircle the area.
He inhaled and headed off towards the lush rolling plains, a small portion of which he had included in the territory boundaries despite knowing they may be difficult to defend. Still the water supply in the area was plentiful and he knew the open land would be worth what it would cost to patrol and defend. The deer and stag would roam freely in these plains through the year and provide them the food they would need as a pack. He looked about curiously as he scented another, no threat to him...but still.

 Feros ran across the ground, his paws pounding into the earth and the wind whipping his fur. He ran and ran till he scented new land, he had not been this far yet. He looked around as he stopped his heart racing, but breathing calm and paced. His eyes glanced around the land, and he decided to keep going. "I have to get away!" he mumbled to himself as he looked down and continued running. He ran right into an area with jagged rocks, and what seemed to be dens. He raised his maw and left a slit for air to go into his mouth. What he scented made him freeze with alertness. He smelt newly claimed land, and another wolf. His gold eyes glanced the area around him when they rested on a figure just a few feet away. He shook his head thinking it was a mirage, but it was not. What he saw was another huge wolf, with fur of a nightmare and a head of a demon. Feros stared at the wolf, not believing it was real, even though it moved and it's chested motioned with every breath. He looked on not moving, he seemed to be frozen in place like this wolf was keeping him there.

Chernabog grinned beneath his mask as he spotted what his nose had scented. The way the black and red male stared at him almost made him laugh. The pup was small, but there was a gleam in those yellow eyes and bespoke possibilities. If this young creature was taken in he could be molded and serve a purpose for the pack someday. He thought for a moment uncertain who would take charge of the pack's youth, but then remembered Kiara. His new beta was a female, and she could handle such affairs...heaven help her if she said she couldn't.
He leapt towards the pup a soft growl rumbling in his chest ready to grab the pup if it tried to run. Though he hoped it wouldn't run, he wanted this young male to show bravery to show he was worthy of being taken into the pack. His court, his reign, while Chernabog demanded respect he also enjoyed the slight awe and fear given him. He stepped towards the pup and stood straight and proud
"What brings you into MY lands young one?"

Feros looked up, he was at ease with this great wolf, which surprised him. He kept his fur flat and ears straight as he spoke. "I am Feros" he announced a hint of defiance in his voice as he showed he was not afraid. "I have traveled long and far in search of a place to stay, I did not know this was claimed lands till I was dead in the center" he said slightly lowering his tail to say sorry. But his eyes betrayed his voice, fact was Feros was not sorry and it showed in his eyes. He liked to roam lands as he pleased but still was alert and cautious. But this meeting had caught him off guard. He kept still, but not too rigid as he spoke, his voice even and secure. Unlike most who would tremble and stutter in this wolf's appearance.

Chernabog growled at the pup his insolence was insulting and for a moment the alpha considered simply breaking the young ones spine. He snarled softly and decided against such an act, after all the pack would need both young and old. The spirit this pup showed was promising, perhaps someday he would make a fine lord. If not he would always make another addition to an army.
"You should take more care...for one so small and alone...it is foolish to be as cocky as you are." He smirked beneath his mask. "How do you like my lands?"

"I am sorry" he said realizing he should be careful, he lowered his tail a little to be respectful and his head. Feros made a mental note to be more careful and rather to make this guy wanna kill him, he would want the guy to appraise him. "Your lands are amazing, for both defense and attack strategies" he said as he looked admiringly at the lands around him. The jagged rocks give excellence defense and the land was overall great to attack outward from the territory. And water was close by and prey seemed abundant here. Feros turned back to chernabog and awaited his response, and wandered why he was not dead yet.

Chernabog nodded softly taking in the pup, while he showed more caution it was a move of intelligence not submission. He circled the pup slowly taking him in further and giving a soft huff. "Perhaps you would like to join my pack? Your...young, but you'll grow..." He stood over the pup casting a shadow over the smaller figure.
"You can hunt for yourself can't you?" He figured he could have Kiara keep an eye on the pup if she hadn't found a suitable pup sitter or care taker and trainer.

Feros eye's gleamed and he grinned "I'd love to join, And yes I can hunt for myself, I have hunted for myself my whole life" He said as he told this great wolf. He stood tall, but not cocky tall, his eye's gleaming with pride as he thinks of joining this great pack. Feros was happy he would finally settle and hoped this would be his final stay.

Chernabog watched the pup through careful crimson eyes, the young male was cocky, proud, and could grow into a problem. He nodded softly to himself he would take the pup in and have Kiara handle how it grew up. There was no point in leaving the young wolf out to face the world alone after all, when he might be of use someday. With a wave of his tail he turned the bloodred gem against his chest swaying.
"You will join us then...you will obey your elders, and someday you may find a proper place, a useful place within the pack." He nodded and headed towards the dens. "Come!" The order was swift with no gentleness shown for age. Chernabog didn't see much in pups except the fact that they could grow, that was their salvation.
He wondered if he shouldn't start to worry about having his own pups, after all it was important to keep his bloodline at least, the trouble would be finding a proper female. Perhaps he could strengthen his odds with numbers...hmm it bore some further thought.

Feros nodded his head "Yes sir" he said he tried to show he was not as cocky as he seemed. Feros wanted to get respect from his aplha not to be felt of as a regret. Feros followed his new found alpha, hoping one day he could be just like him, or close to him. He would work hard, hunt well, and train to be the best. Feros was determijned to make this alpha happy the day he adopted him into the pack. It was only time till he proved he was a worthy wolf.

Chernabog headed towards the den at a swift pace, he would need someone to handle the pup and since he currently had but his one dear beta female the task would be hers. Unless of course she could find another with the ability to handle the young ones. He moved to stand at the top of the dens before throwing his head back and letting out a call.
He sat down his posture relaxed yet every muscle well defined beneath his dark fur. He would wait now to see how swiftly his beta came.

She popped herself out from the depths of the den. She'd been exploring it with thought to how it would be used. She had reached the very back of the caves, when the sound of her lord calling her echoed down the empty hallways. Ears thrown forward and tonge lolling eagerly, she spun in place and had galloped through the twisting passageways, bursting into the sunlight with an answering howl, filled with her devotion and adoration.
She squinted beneath the bright light, scanning with nose and ears for where her king was. This led her to look up, and there he was, standing tall and proud. She whined softly in greeting, deep in her throat, and then scrambled up to join him obediently. Her surprise was great when she discovered a young pup with him. She eyed the puppy askance and moved to her lord's side.
"You wanted me, my lord and master?" Her question didn't, quite, hold double meaning, though the nuance was there. Even so, she knew better than to suggest dalliance when he had called her with a purpose. He must have a task, and she only hoped it had nothing to do with the small, dark furball with him.

[ooc]Ok since Feros just turned teen, maybe we will move him to training or whatever like in a month, is that ok?[/ooc]
Feros looked at the she-wolf she didn't seem to want to take care of him, but feros did not mind he'd be able to take care of himself, he has for his whole life. So feros just sat down and awaited to what would happen his eye's held onto the two and his ears listening to there conversation.

Chernabog turned his gaze towards Kiara and smirked softly beneath his helm. She was quite a fetching female in the sunny light of day, but for now his thoughts trailed back to the pup that sat below him. He let his gaze rest on the dark pup.
"This is Feros, he will be afforded the protection of the pack...for now. I want you to take care of him, ensure he eats properly and perhaps train him in mild combat...if the task is unsavory find another femme who will take care of young ones." He smirked as he watched her for the sign of relief he knew would spread across her face. He doubted that the clever Kiara would want the burden of a foundling pup.
Chernabog in turn looked at Feros and growled out softly. "You will listen to and obey your elders, or I will have no qualms drowning you in the nearest river, you're of no use to me unless we can train you to some better purpose."

"Yes sir I will do the best I can" Feros said knowing he could probably do all the training he was to learn... with out a problem. Feros looked at the she wolf by him, she seemed rude and he hoped she would give him to another wolf. But feros smiled pleasantly to them both, his eye's believable this time. Feros would prove he was a great benefit to this pack, not just another helpless wolf who will be drowned. Feros's eye's glinted at the fact of being in such a strong and terrifying pack, he hoped he would stay here.
