Ra figured he would take his sweet time in finding out exsactly what in the hell his son Rahu been doing and so he had left his 'dear' son's company the day before after having just met up with him. tail flicking as he lowered his head to drink, the only real way to tell the difference in him adn rahu was well he had three white stocks instead of just one unlike Rahu. drinking his fill, if anywhere just to glance at him (and if they knew rahu) they might just think he was Rahu.

She had wandered away from Rahu for a little quiet time to herself, every once in while hearing the familiar flapping wings of Kaine as he flew above her, ever the watchful guardian. As she made her way across the "claimed" territory that belonged to Rahu, she came across a familiar looking mate of hers that she could have sworn had left a few days ago to get some quiet time to himself, too. "Rahu?" she called out, approaching the stallion who was peacefully lapping up the water from the lake. As she approached, she suddenly realized it wasn't Rahu but a stallion that looked awfully, extremely, annoyingly, creepily similar to her mate. What the hell? rang through her mind as she stopped short just a few feet away from the stallion, startled. He had visible scars, unlike Rahu... but he looked... smelled... everything. It was so creepy it was also amazing. "You're not... Rahu. Who are you?" she whispered.

Ra was quick to stop drinking at hearing someone say his son's name. eyes narrowed, he lifted his head adn stared at the female who had spoken his son's name and realized he was not him. " very clever to realize i'm not Rahu." snorting, he tossed his name. " does it really matter that much to know who i am? but what really matters to me is how you know Rahu my son." eyeing her, he wondered if he might get some info out of her as Rahu clearly been reluctant to say anything.

Aruna's eyes narrowed for a split second at the tone the stallion spoke with her, and then she smiled--albeit nastily--at the stallion as he inadvertedly introduced himself as Rahu's father instead. Smiling--smirking?--she tilted her head in a semi-polite, mocking bow of respect. "If Rahu said nothing of the sort to you, do not expect me to say anything either, old one," she spoke in that irritating calm voice of hers that was polite and yet mocked at the same. "Seeing as Rahu's personality was clearly caused by a simpleton jerk like you, I'm impressed someone like you even so much as bothered to father a child!" She stayed where she was, eyeing the dark, scarred stallion up and down. "Actually, I'd have to wonder how someone with a nasty quirk like yours could be drawn in and actually helped you to produce an "heir"... as it seems someone like you wouldn't wish to be tied down to family," she continued to smile her infuriating smile. She has used this tactic on Rahu when they'd first met...or rather, on some stallions that had decided to get on her bad side.

well seemed this mare had a bit of a nasty personality towards him but no matter, it only furthered his couriosity as to why Rahu would bother being near this mare. " he has his own reasons for not speaking about anything to me. i dont see what it wouuld matter to you at all." he cracked a smirk and took a step towards her. " i wouldn't speak as if you know me at all. Rahu was shall we say a disapointment who has tuned out to be a stupid fool." never raising his voice, he kept it calm and level. unlike Rahu, Ra didn't have a nasty temper, just a cold personality.

She didn't budge. It would figure Rahu's father had to be smarter than her cute idiot of a mate, but she was going to keep that quiet. If Rahu's father didn't know his family had spread, then she wouldn't speak one word. "Well of course I don't know you, I was only making a guess judging by appearance and personality," she answered smoothly, tossing her mane. Her sharp golden gaze eyed the stallion as he approached her slowly, and though he was intimidating, she'd had her fair share of "intimidating"... This guy was candy compared to what she'd experienced in her exciting-turned-dull life. But it looked like her life was about to get just a bit more exciting again... since Rahu's father decided to show up--albeit suddenly, but there he was and here she was. "Rahu may be a fool but he is far from stupid," she defended coolly, feeling slightly pissed off with this guy. Wouldn't calling your own child stupid mean you were stupid too? How incredibly idiotic.

ofcourse it was only natural he had no clue rahu had ended up with a family, though he heard rumors through a certain little hawk who he knew rahu now wanted to kill. " judging someone based on just those two things could be rather foolish." the more they talked back and forthh the more he felt this mare was nothign but an annoying headach that had some link to Rahu and wouldnt fess up what. " i don't know a foolish, hot blooded, angry tempered makes him out to be rather stupid in the end."

She continued to eye this older stallion coolly, noting that at least he managed to share his handsome looks with his son--her mate. "I'll have you know that I'm not foolish, and if you decide that you need to correct me, you'll have triple the pain coming back to you." By my father, Rahu, and my sons, she thought rather gleefully. Rahu would probably be infuriated if he heard she'd gotten hurt--and by his father, no less. Maybe she should goad him more? But Ra seemed a bit more intelligent and strategic when it came to fighting, so she had to tread carefully.
"You think so? Well, that's too bad. Seems he inherits that from you. Well now, doesn't that make you rather stupid and foolish?" He looked like he liked that word a lot--"foolish". Might as well turn it back on him. Of course, if he continued to insult her she wouldn't mind revealing who she really was, either. She'd find this stallion's weaknesses yet. "Oh, and since it's rather late and it doesn't matter, and I don't care to be too polite, call me Aruna. Considering traditions... you are Ra, aren't you?" Aruna had always been good at deducing situations--particularly curiously familiar stallions like the one she was "talking" to.

Ra just chuckled that made it seem like he was very happy with what she said. of course Rahu and his sons would hunt down ra and kick his a** if he harmed Aruna in anyway. "that worthless son of mine only inherits my looks and nothing more. but i cant have any expectations of a son who hardly knew his parents." grinning, he hardly cared that he barely knew his son that he thought of as worthless at the moment. " and your rather smart to figure out my name. considering i never said i named Rahu after myself." he now finally could see why his son would stick around her, since she sure wasn't the weak type and rather smart too. " but i will tel you, on way or another i will find out what kind of ties you have with my son." a devilish smirk was now upon his face, as he waited to hear what kind of come back she would have for him. it always brought out some emotion out of him when he was having fun trying to toy or use someone for his benefit, which he wanted to use aruna to get to his son since his son didn't seem cooperative in telling him about what has gone on since he last saw him.
