Alright, I realize that there is an OOC thread available, but I don't think too many people will mind if I separate it from the rest. i think it'll be easier if the members of this roleplay have a play to talk and rant, plan and scheme and bounce ideas off of one another in their own separate thread. That said, I want to take a moment to assess the situation and see how many people I've lost by my untimely absences. Ugh... It's embarrassing that there have been so many since the new year began. stressed
Anyway! How many people are still on board here? I want to start the first day of school before Wednesday and I swear I'm going to keep this deadline if it kills me. Just post here when you get the chance or if you're even still interesting in continuing this roleplay at all. I just need to know who's in and who's out.

Anyway, I can't wait to bring Will back into the RP... I actually have a lot planned with him and Pluto... fufufu~! Gah, it makes me want to plot spill so bad, but I must resist!!!! D:
Also, is Salem's hair already turning black?
Oh yes, and I may not get a chance to post for a couple hours since I need to go work on a school project with a friend.... 8D;

Ah, the awesomeness that is shapeshifting. Anyway, Salem's hair isn't changing yet, but I suppose his roots would be a bit darker. The changes on the outside won't start taking off until the changes on the inside are nearly complete.

... Yes, I'm still on Board and I can't wait till school starts, Tai will have some problems with meeting new people, but It's going to be cute, and It'll be pretty funny when People think Connor is a girl... tehe maybe some guys will ask him out =D lol But alas, I'm on board and I don't expect to leave any time in the near future... or anytime in the future at all.. hmmm....? ...

Yuu Watase's Zettai Kareshi Riiko Izawa has never had a boyfriend and she has been rejected by every boy she has ever had a crush on. When she returns a lost cell phone to an oddly dressed salesman, she mentions wanting a boyfriend so to thank her, he directs her to his company's website. When she visits the site, Riiko finds its a site to create your own lover. Thinking its a game, she customizes and accidentally orders one. The next day a huge box is delivered to her apartment and out of it falls the young man she ordered the night before... naked. After finding the instructions she awakens him with a kiss. He smiles at her and says: "Hello, girlfriend!" She later names him "Night." Three days later, she is shocked to learn that she only had him for a free trial. The salesman, Gaku Namikiri, tells her that she must now pay 100,000,000 yen for Night, or they will waive the fee if she helps them to collect data about how women think and feel to help perfect future models.
Anyway, I was thinking the premise for this roleplay will be similar to the original story. Kronos Heaven is about to launch their new line of companion robots, the Nightly Lover Series model 02 (Riko’s lover, Night, was a model 01), but before the premiere one of the designers convinces them to do a test run to make sure the product is ready for the public. And if nothing else, it may provide sufficient data when it comes time to design the model 03s.
So, I was thinking that the roleplay would start off with some kind of convention, like for Young Entrepreneurs, a place where their company can set up a booth and have people come and take a survey where people give information about their “Ideal Boyfriend”. I was also think they could offer a contest: the people who participate get their name entered in a draw and the winners of the draw, though they obviously don't advertise this, actually get to spend three days with their dream boyfriend.
Now here's where I get into some of the finer mechanics of the roleplay. It's a romance roleplay, obviously, which will mean it'll be a less plot oriented then Blackthorn. But that doesn't mean it won't have a plot, it only means that you guys have a bigger role in moving the plot forward because it'll revolve around the relationships you create between your characters and their fantasy lovers.
One of the ideas that really made me want to do a roleplay based on this manga was because of the Lovers. I thought it would be really fun, and challenging in some ways, to create a blank profile for a character and have someone else give him the personality traits and skills that their character wants him to have. Hell, even get to name him if you want to go that far. So, this is how I was thinking it would work:
-People will have a choice of submitting a character who will be human, an owner, or a robot, a lover.
-People playing owners can then choose from the list of Lovers who they want and tell me by PM. It'll be on a first come, first serve basis.
-Characters will then submit a list of skills, personality traits and quirks that they want that robot to have (this part will be played out in the beginning of the roleplay).

That sounds like a lot of fun. I'm still a little confused on applying to be a Lover, though. So, when the initial profile is sent... is there any information on it at all apart from maybe an RP sample or a name or something? Do we decide appearance or is that decided for us? Also, I was thinking that it be best that whoever wants that Lover can give a list of attributes they want the Lover to have, but whoever RPs the Lover can make the final decisions on personality..... Sound good or am I totally botching your idea? xD;;
Oh yeas, and this is unrelated, but everybody should go watch this. It's an amazing video by an alumni of the college I hope to attend. 8D

Lycan and U_Sin: Is it okay if we time-skip a little? The newest post for Salem makes it sound like it's later in the week, so I was thinking we could just skip to a day or two after Ryo wakes up. It's fine if you want to have the whole part of going to the nurse and everything, it was just an idea. It would let me re-join the RP and also let the developments between Ryo and Emery either grow or diminish.
Also, has anyone decided on U_Sin's idea about the AI lover thing he talked about earlier? I for one think it's a great idea. But that's because I like the series Chobits (it's not yaoi, but it's about a robot girl...it's a little X rated though)
