Gray was sitting quietly in the middle of the mall. Zael and Aaron had been here for a while, and were probably looking for him by now - but he'd crawled off from the word 'go', and had been wandering for the better part of two hours. Not that it scared him. He was more than happy to be off on his own. Codi was with him, of course. He'd dragged him along when he found out that Fuego was coming with. And he was having a grand old time torturing the wasp boy. Forcing him to obey his commands with the use of that lovely eye of his. Right now though, he had grown bored of that, and wished something else would happen to take his mind off his boredom.
Codi whimpered, struggled, and tried to get free. All he wanted to do was go back with his father, and that was it. His daddy. He missed him. And all this stuff that Gray was making him do was bad and mean! He didn't want to be like that. So he just wanted to get away. Unfortunately, Gray was more powerful, AND more goal-oriented than he was. More focused. Making it easier for him to see past Codi's not-so-clever plans of escape and keep him there. After a while, Codi started to cry.
