Name: Jace Hawker
Appearance/Picture:

Background: A young lad around the age of 14, originating from someplace in Britain, but moved to New York shortly after his birth. His father was sent to fight a war overseas, but didn't come back. As for his mother, she died of illness after a while. His parents left him nothing and was kicked out of his home. He became an avid thief, stealing from rich snobs (so he says) and mastered swordplay a little with all kinds of blades by a traveler. After 2 years of thievery, he starts to long for adventure and soon, he sets off.
Misc: Very swift and agile. Carries a shiv with him at all times.

Background: An 18 year old orphan, whose mother died during child-birth and whose father ran away long before that. When she turned 12 the orphanage she was staying in got attacked by pirates, and Susana stowed away on their ship. They found her a week later, and taught her the way of the pirates, not caring that she was a girl. She grew to be very powerful, and when the captain died (she was 16), the entire crew elected her to be the new captain. She is now terrorizing all that sail near her part of the seas.
Misc: Uses a broadsword to chop off people’s heads, her specialty attack.

Background:born in Germany and at the age of twelve joined a band of pirates after the his father got drunk and killed his mother and sister and then killed himself. then at fifteen the navy got the ship he was on forced him to the navy after the second day he stole a life boat and sailed to the U.S.
Misc:fast and sneaky will steal anything worth value even from his closest friend uses a small sword to fight

Background: The 17 year old daughter of an American merchant in South Carolina, she was kidnapped at a young age while traveling and in attempts to get home, took to sea and decided she liked it. She has a 'slightly' piratical nature and tends to go from ship to ship.
Misc: She is very skilled with both a cutlass and a pistol, both of which she always carries.

Name: Alicja (pronounced: ah-LEETS-yah) Per
Appearance/Picture:

Background: Alicja, about 17, is a middle class young woman born and raised in Crakow, Poland. She was married off to a friend of her father's, who is about ten years older than her, and not as gentle with her as people think he is. Because her husband is a sailor, he has dragged her from one country to another for almost two years now. A few months ago the ship he was working on docked in New York, where he got off and sent for his wife. In this vastly different country, Alicja has begun to wonder if she might try to find her own way in life...
Misc: Alicja doesn't know much about fights, and sailing, and pirates, except for the few garbled words her husband has muttered about them. She does know bits and pieces of various European languages and has a gift for figuring the worth of things (physical and other). She is very curious and a fast learner.

Name: Anika Enoksen
Appearance/Picture: (picture coming soon...) Anika is a petite girl, about 5', and 15 years old. She has strawberry-blonde wavy hair the goes down to her shoulder blades. Her eyes are a stromy hazel.
Background: Anika is the younger sister of a certain Danish bartender and carpenter ((I did talk to Iduna about this, and she gave me the go ahead)). She was born and raised in Silkeborg, Danmark. Her mother caught pneumonia during Anika's third winter, and passed away, so her aunt took care of her during the day and her brother helped out when he got home from working. Her father was a fisherman, who died in an accident at the docks when Anika was 10. Later that year, her older brother decided that the two of them would do well in America, so they boarded a ship with a group of Gabriel's friends and sailed across the Atlantic. Anika now tends the tavern with her brother and runs errands for the "side business" he and his friends have. She's also good at cross-stitch, milking cows and goats, spinning wool, knitting, keeping secrets, and eavesdropping. She is still developing her talents for making excuses and telling "fishermen tales".

Misc: Anika has keen eyes and ears, coupled with tight lips. Within about 5 minutes of meeting you, she could probably compile enough info to blackmail you for a good year. By then, though, she'll have more information on you. Also, her father used to refer to her as his "Little Loki".
