Alright, the idea for this has been kicked around for quite some time, and now that I''ve some time at home and seen a few other charities and how they work, I''ve finally got a few ground rules.
Rule 1: You will NOT beg for a handout here.
Rule 2: If you DO beg, you will get NOTHING.
Rule 3: Begging more than 3 times (or pissing the moderators off beforehand) will get you the boot.
Simple, no? Now that thats out of the way, on to the how this charity works!
If any of the members wish to have a helping hand in quests, if they''ve been robbed, or anything in particular, then we''re here to offer some help. However, unlike most charities, we don''t simply offer you money when you filll out a form right. The way our charity works is that the more a member contributes, the more they''re likely to get in a donation. for example, if you''ve donated 500G, then the maximum donation you will get is 500G. However, if you''ve been an outstanding member, bringing in new people to the fold, welcoming newbies to us with open arms and showing them the ropes if they screw up, or helping the IPG with events and special events its set up, that will be recognized in your donation as an extra amount to what you normally receive (if the IPG bank can swing it, that is). Of course, this can also work againest you, if you''ve been a rather awful member of the IPG. And we also help out fellow IPG''ers celebrate their birthdays with special birthday gifts! Contributions and whatnot will be tracked in my next posting. Hope to help you on quest! *note, this will activate after the cap quest is completed and will not be active when the funds are running below 1K*

What did I donate on this account? I know I gave 500g to the guild itself as doomkillwer, but are you counting the Cap Quest for me too, or are you counting my name because of all the stuff we discussed? biggrin

So...what do we do now? Just wait for people to start posting their quests? I just bought my shackles, so I no longer have one...
I just think it would be nice to know what everyone's questing for. Perhaps people could tell Koiyuki and she could put it in one of the first couple of posts. That way we would be able to just glance at it and know what everyone wants...

Hey guys, I have my little brother here on Gaia. He's actually the guy who started me here. I'd appreciate it if you guys help him out on his questing. His username is Omon, and he wants about 14 k in stuff. How about we help him out? I know this isn't IPG matters, but I'm asking the users, not the guild as an institution. Helping, of course, is not obligatory, but I'd appreciate it.
EDIT: I haven't told him about this, and he doesn't come to this guild, so don't be surprised if he doesn't know what you're talking about.
