Setting/Plot: In the big city it seems like there is a night club on every street. You never have to look far for somewhere to party once the lights go out. One of these many clubs is the “Mystique”, with a low cover charge but high standards on who it lets in.

In this world Demons are known to exist, but many Humans do not appreciate their presence. And after prosecution throughout times by various religious factions, the Demons themselves don’t often venture into highly populated areas. But there are some who don’t have much choice, they need humans in order to survive, living off of their life force and other energies.

Mellion is an Incubus, a Demon that feeds on sexual energy and needs it to survive. Chased out of his previous home by a human who had grown unhealthily fond of him, he has come to this city trying to start over. But he will find more than he imagined.

History: Lyndsay was born in the slum area of the city and went through a rather tough childhood. He was forced to begin working at a very young age and his parents encouraged him to do whatever he could to make money for the family. He took their advice to heart. He ended up doing all sorts of odd jobs from trash clean-up to prostitution just to find out later that his parents were using his hard earned money to buy a whole rainbow of drugs. He felt angry and bitter especially because he wondered why all his money was never enough, now he knew why. Lyndsay ran away at the age 17 and took to the homeless shelters and streets and continued to work steadily until he could afford his own place and has been living the life of a jack of all trades ever since then.
Personality: Because of his shady past Lyndsay has become a severe sociopath. He is very self indulgent, promiscuous, manipulative and a pathological lier. He also be very cruel, domineering and enjoys victimizing people to get at what he wants, though he is very practiced at hiding these qualities if he wants to. He usually comes off as a very suave, self-assured young man.

The character is good, but I'm going to ask that you only play a human. Since I am unsure if Odyssey wishes to continue the RP I want Mellion to interact with as few other demons as possible, it enhances the idea that they are a minority and are in hiding.

Also, could you edit your post? I refuse to RP with anyone who can't at least write with proper capitalization and punctuation. None of your sentences are capitalized and I have noticed a significant lack of proper punctuation, and in some cases, grammar. Be as professional as possible when writing with me, please.
If you cannot put as much effort into the appearance of your roleplaying posts as you would a piece of writing for school or work I will not RP with you, I'm sorry, but this is something that I take very seriously. Minor errors will be overlooked, but your post is riddled with them.

I apologize if you were mislead or thought otherwise, but this is not an angel/demon roleplay. As the creator I have every right to deny you playing a certain type of character if it does not fit the world I have created. Angels were not mentioned in any part of the summary and you were making an assumption that they were allowed, or that they even existed in this universe. Incubi are from Mesopotamian myth, where there is not a single mention of Angels.
It is not unfair of me to disallow this race.


I also apologize if I am being rude or insulting, no offense is intended, but it sounds as though you are making excuses. I have a computer with a Japanese keyboard and can still write properly in English with it. I am not asking you to be perfect. Use a browser with a spell check if you can, perhaps proofread your posts. I don't care how long it takes you to reply, so take your time if you need to.

However difficult it may be for you to write properly, it is also difficult for me to read the way that you are writing now. If you truly do have a learning disability then forcing yourself to work through it is the first step toward overcoming it.

If there were multiple characters in this RP I would not have a problem with you playing a non human character. It is the fact that this is more than likely to remain a one-on-one that makes me want only a human character. The fact is that Mellion is a sex demon and he needs to have sex with humans in order to live. It's that simple. And if he has no humans to interact with it makes that rather difficult.

As it is, I still feel that you should not play an Angel even were I allowing non-human characters at the moment. It is simply not a race that fits with the mythology being used in this RP. It is nothing against your character personally, or against you, but I reserve the right to deny any character that is submitted. You are acting as though this is completely unheard of and unfair, but I have had to change characters in the past at the discretion of RP creators so I feel no remorse in asking the same of people in my RPs.

My biggest pet peeve in RPing is people who think that they can do whatever they want. People who bring in characters that do not fit the plot or suddenly take the plot off in another direction. An Angel simply does not fit the plot. I have tried to be reasonable with you, but you are making this a much bigger deal than it needs to be. If you continue to argue with me on this point I will simply not allow you to enter to RP at all. It may sound harsh, and I apologize, but this is my RP and my world and I am completely justified in wanting it to remain the way I see it in my head.

I don't really care what you have seen in the past. This is my world and I say what goes. I don't doubt that you have seen Incubi associate with Angels, but it won't be happening here. I am basing the demonology of this RP on Mesopotamian and Greek myth, and there are no Angels there. I have stated this before.

I did answer why an Angel would change things. The plot of this RP requires a human for my Incubus to associate with. If he doesn't have a human to get sexual energy from he'll die within a few days. I don't suppose that this is a scenario either of us wishes to play.

If your character was "basically a human anyway" you should not have made such a fuss about changing him. As soon as your profile is edited as I asked in my first post I will accept it. I still ask that you do everything possible to improve the appearance of your posts. As I said before, I don't care if you provide quick replies, so take your time if you need to.
