Teal orbs peaked out from behind a tree. He was trying his best not to rember what has been going on in his life. Ingoring the attack on his pride. Ingoring his mother dying... and ingoring the day his brother and father was not there. He wasn't sure if they were alive but he wanted to play right now.
The only thing was he didn't have anyone to play with. Where was all the cubs today? He didn't know he decided to chase after a butterfly instead. Well why not there was nothing else to do.

 A rather startled yowl came from not too far away as a black and brown cub darted out of the grasses and right into the gray cub. From the same place she had emerged from was a rather irate looking hare that huffed and hopped off into the grasses once more.
The cub squeaked and quickly got up. "Uh-oh! I'm sorry! Did I hurt ya? Uhm...Sorry again!" She looked completely embarrassed, and her front half was spattered with dirt, like she'd been digging or poking her nose into a hole.

Nazih blinked. Did a lion just apper out of no where. Maybe he wasn't paying attention. He couldn't help but to giggled a bit. "Its ok!" He smiled and puffed out his chest a bit, then he smiled. "Do you want to play!" He asked an other cub to hang out with was what he needed.
"I'm Nazih'Matata but you can call me Nazih!" His smile grew larger and stood up as tall as he could.

Play? Ekundayo couldn't help but grin and stop looking sorry. "Yes! I would love to play!" She shook some of the dirt off and bounced a little. "What do'ya wanna play?"
She swished her tail about happily. "I'm Ekundayo! But ya can call me Ekun!"

Nazih grinned. "That's a nice name Ekun!" He grinned and nipped at the female cub. "I like any games! Maybe tag! or hide and go seak!" He practically bounced up and down as he pawed at her, with a large grin on his face. His ear's twitched and his tail swung around. He needed to play anything to get his mind off of things.

"Thanks! You have a nifty name too!" She pawed right back, grinning to match his grin. "We can play tag! But we def'nitely wanna avoid the hare...She seemed kinda mad..." She crouched down slightly, halfway looking ready to pounce. And half pounce she did, hitting him with a paw, claws in, before running off.
"Tag! You're it!"

Nazih was slightly off gaurd when he was pounced on. He laughed as the female ran the other way. He grinned as he started bounding after her. He shook off the thought of running from the attack, he didn't want to think about that when he was playing. he was triyng to have fun for once. "I'm gonna get 'chu!" he called out as he pushed himself as much as he could to get the female.

Ekundayo laughed as she ran about, dodging around the paler cub. "Nu-uh! I bet I'm faster!" She might have been right, but she didn't get much of a chance to prove it. Why? While looking back for a second at Nazih, she tripped over a rock. Ekun yelped as she rolled back paws over head twice, then stopped on her back, dizzy.
"Oooo...Dun wanna do that 'gain..."

Nazih couldn't help but to giggle a bit at the female. He wandered over to her and flopped down at her side. "You okay?" He asked looking her up and down for any cuts. He gave her a bit of a goofy grin being friendly and keeping himself from laughing. One thing his mother taugh him was to never laugh at others pain, or try your hardest atleast. He waited for her to awnser before doing anything else, he was tempted to tag her though.

She wiggled a bit and rolled onto her belly. "Yeah...I think I'm okay..." She gave a grin back up at him, then stood up to shake herself a bit. "Alrighty! I'm ready to play 'gain!" It was a moment before she realized she was within tagging distance. She blinked and squeaked, moving to make her escape.

Nazih laughed as she tried to escape but he pushed himself up and pushed out his paw and swiped at her back foot and was pretty sure he felt his paw his somthing and turned around and started to take off. "Haha! Your it!" He laughed as he sprinted a bit, testing how quickly it might take her to get to himself. He looked back and grinned before looking foreward again.

Ekundayo didn't stop right away after being tagged. She padded a few more steps before being tagged fully registered. And when it did, she blinked. "That...Oooo~Imma get chu!" She turned around as quick as she could and started after Nazih. When he grinned at her, she just grinned back. Despite her chagrin at being tagged off guard, she was having fun. Lots of it.

Naizh laughed and started running a bit faster, He knew she was still catching up and he could have ran faster but he didn't want to tire himself out, he would still have to find a place to sleep that night and some times that had to do with much talking, so he was being carful.

When Ekun finally caught up with him, she bumped him with her shoulder. "You're it!" She danced a few steps away before running off. Oh sure, she knew she'd tire out soon enough...but it was fun while it lasted! After all, she was a cub! Cubs were supposed to have lots of fun!

Nazih giggled slightly as he felt her bump into him, a smile grew on his face before he quickly turned around to face the cub. As he did he noticed that she was turning around. Right away he started to take his chase, keeping up with her the best he could. He loved being able to play around with others his age and finally get his mind off of so many things.
He was so into the moment, so determined to catch the other cub. He was just at her toes when he started to feel really tired, right away his eyes went up to the sky. He knew he should have started to figure out where to sleep by now. He slowed down and looked at the other cub. "Ekun?" He called out, he needed to get going, he knew he did, but he didn't want to let her keep running as he went the other way. He could never do that.
