So on Friday I went to the YMCA, and decided to run. I was feeling good that day so I ran a mile. (My first time! Woo!) I timed myself and it took me 10 minutes to run that mile. Is that a good time or is that really long?

You should do it! It really makes you feel good about yourself. Especially after you reach goal.

don't go by time, (though ideally you want to run at least 15 mins so maybe once your feeling up to it, add half a mile or so) go with your heart rate. Find out what your target heart rate is and try to get it in that range for at least 15mins.

...running is the devil. scream
*sigh* Not really. I just can't do it for anything. I don't even think I could run for ten minuets. I am planning on trying to change that this summer.
Being able to even do a mile is pretty good in my opinion let alone in ten mins. Keep it up.
