Well, after TTC after our last catastrophy, I can most proudly announce that we got the positive on a home test! We're so very excited seeing as today is our anniversary; but we know we're most definately not out of the ballpark for a nother month and a bit.

I've been doing some research and have already cut out alcohol and caffine in my diet and have been eating right; and am thinking about getting some of those prenatal vitamins....but is it too soon to be going to my Gynecologist? They say usually about 11-13 weeks; but thanks to my miscairrage before would it be wise to try and get in asap?

Needless to say; i've kinda known for a while now. I pretty much bat a 100 with the hella sore breats, urinating non stop, tired, moody and hormonal along with nausea (but thankfully no vomiting yet!) Hopefully this won't be an ominous sign of a long bout of the sickness!

It certainly wouldn't hurt to call your doctor's office and see when they'd like to schedule your first visit. :]
Congrats.

Your first prenatal visit will likely be in the 10-12 week range, but you should call now and get things set up. Prenatals are a good idea to take when TTC as well. (Honestly, I may keep taking them indefinitely because I like them and have been on them non-stop for almost three years now.)

As for your miscarriage, you've only had one, so it's not something to be overly concerned about--meaning you don't have a history of miscarrying making it an issue that needs to be watched--but you should definitely mention it at your appointment. Many women miscarry at some point and have no issues later with pregnancy.

Congratulations! Can't wait to see you in the Preggers thread. smile

Yep, go ahead and set up your first prenatal visit and start taking those prenatal vitamins. You can start by taking OTC ones and then if you want to take prescription ones, you can get those once you see your ob-gyn. (I just took OTC Spring Valley ones from Walmart throughout both pregnancies. Actually, I still take them since I'm nursing.)

Congrats! I hope everything goes smoothly this time. heart

L is for the way you look at me
O is for the only one I see

Congrats on the pregnancy! Cutting out the bad habbits was deffinitly a good idea. Also, prenatal vitamins would be a nice thing to get. The doctor should give you some free ones on your first visit so don't rush out and buy some just yet. 3nodding

Congratulations!

It can't hurt and explain to the doctor your fears, they may get you in sooner if they are concerned.
