Name: Kurma
Title Ideas: ...
Domain: Earth
Gender: Male
Jewel Appearance: CC
Skin: ...
Hair: ...
Eyes: ...
Wings: ...
Clothing Style: ...
Other: This god's host is a Goron. Yes. A goron from Legend of Zelda. They're proportioned more or less like upright-standing hunchbacked gorillas.
Psyche: Slow is one way to put it. Geological processes take a very long time to unfold, and many of Kurma's finest works would have taken upwards of an Age to be finished. He is a very patient god, and others would do well to have some patience in dealing with him. While friendly enough, and willing to have a chat with just about anyone, it takes him a while to think, speak, or act on things. The perspective from which he views the passage of time is fitting for one who oversees and facilitates million-year events, and his manner of speaking can get a bit warped and cryptic because of it.
Abilities: Geology shenanigans, probably?

Name: Dardono Age: 50-something Gender: Male Species: Goron Height: Probably like eight goddamn feet tall. Gorons are naturally very large, and those in leadership roles tend to be larger than average. Weight: At least a ton, maybe more. Gorons are made of living stone, so he would weigh as much as a boulder his size. Occupation: Heavy weapons craftsman and general badass. Big Brother among his entourage. Psyche: Stone-cold and sort of unapproachable to anyone he regards as an 'outsider,' but once you impress him he warms up into a very brotherly and boisterous fellow. Like many Gorons he's quite sporting, and loves a good contest of physical prowess in any shape or form. Has been in a state of severe melancholy since the events of Gehenna, and has not recovered much even upon the sky's return. Prefers simple, straightforward, hands-on solutions to problems, especially when they involve using his fists. Other Notes: Hyrule was pretty devastated by Gehenna's events and has been rendered almost completely inhospitable, even to Gorons. Dardono's entourage would have escaped into the Lost Woods for refuge and ended up traveling through the World Tree, most likely.

Concept 2! c: Again, the form's entirely a bunch of suggestions. XD Thanks to Skie for the help! ^u^ <3 IT'S JUNE 2012 AND I'M REDUXING THIS s**t Potential Name: Elysia or Anisidora Domain: Steppe Gender: Female Jewel Appearance: Undecided. Skin: Golden tan, with freckles on the face if that's possible. Hair: Long and straight, color like prairie grass, dotted with flowers Eyes: Sky or stormcloud-colored. Wings: Fluffy white clouds. c: Horns: Deer or antelope horns Tail: Bison or gazelle tail Clothing Style: Something inspired by the traditional wear of Plains Indian groups could be appropriate here, but please for the love of god don't turn her into a walking stereotype if you go with this. D: Other: A crown of flowers would show up at later stages. Psyche: Again, not going to delve into this too much since I'd end up half-wrong if I got her, but I imagine her being an overall kind individual, fond of animals / plants, all that fun hippie stuff. :V Possible Abilities: - Fertilize / restore soil - Summon an expanse of grasses (restorative in some places, a trap of sorts in others) - Conjure plants specific to her domain (maize, wild wheat, etc) - Natural hardiness against weather extremes - Summon / transform into symbolic grassland animals (elk, bison, gazelle, etc.) - Strengthened by fire (grasslands rely on periodic fires to not be overtaken by trees)

Yeah, I mowed down your chat window with... a lot of possibilities. >_>; I'm going to try and stick with Baqir for now, since he's the most potentially interesting and a bit of a change from the kinds of characters I'm used to playing.

It's certainly fun to posit about Edel ideas. You only start to have problems when they grow and take root in your brain. biggrin
PS THE QUEST FOR THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE IS EPIC, OKAY. Oh my god, the host for that needs to be like, an archaeologist or someone who's looking for the other, alchemical, Stone, and they end with an Edel gem instead K I'M DONE.

F**K YEAH ZERGLINGS biggrin I hope that it's actually doable - if not, the Zerg colony in question could always pull a Kerrigan and host-a-ghost. XD Glad you like the idea as much as I do, though.

Since you asked for idears for Grasslands~
What about a headdress of eagle feathers? or something similar... honey-coloured hair, perhaps even translucent? Braided with wildflowers plaited into it.
tan/golden-y skin since the grasslands are usually sun-warmed.
not particularly tall, or sporty build either... a build that's more curvy? Freckles?
perhaps her feet fade in chocolate colours like the rich earth that feeds the grasslands? sky blue eyes
and wings, if you wanted them, could be whisps of clouds that vary from light and fluffy to thunderclouds (the plains are characterized, weather wise, by thunderclouds and big puffy cotton ball clouds)? Or perhaps if you wanted a more earthy tone, corn husks fanned out like feathers?
as for clothing, I was thinking something more... like doeskin, a light tan, slightly fuzzy, painted over with bright red, blue, and green patterns along the hems? either a two piece dress, like a native outfit, or something similar?
those are just some ideas like you asked for~
