thats a close call because I'm in complete love with my (ESP) LTD DV8-R, but my dream guitar is a Jackson King Kelly. I can only afford a regualr kelly tho...I'll say ESP because Jackson needs to make a cheaper King Kelly and stop making so many bolt on neck guitars. Also Jackson you need to hook up with EMG or Seymore like ESP did and make those humbuckers stock. ESP and Jackson should just merge...that would be epic!
(forgive me Jackson...)

jackson, hands down. ehh ESP's just feel fake. besides there are jacksons sold on the shelf that are prepared with duncans and or emgs. so yah. besides anything above $900 made by jackson has a neck thru.

I'll go with ESP. Jackson made some grand guitars but you can't overlook the fact that now they are far from amazeing. They need to recontinue their 7 - string modles.

ESP
no contest. ESPs looks good, jacksons look hideous, ESPs come with nicer pickups, even on their cheaper models they win big. Better hardware, too. ESP wins in every category - every desirable one anyway.

>.> Ehhh, as I said, PRE FENDER Jacksons smile
though Fender did take over, the quality of the more expensive models hasn't suffered, and their custom shop is still as amazing as ever.
ALSO, How can you not love a good Soloist? It beats out alot of ESPs, besides, ESP is expensive as hell (5,000+) for a basic custom guitar x.x
I do like both, and wouldnt mind an older ESP LTD V.
Just the King V nostalgia, and my favorite guitar, the Kelly.

Eh, The basic Custom shop models are like half the price.
What I mean is, the same thing with jackson, with the same quality is MUCH cheaper.
It's just that a lot of the top names in guitar have moved to ESP, making their label expensive, thus in turn, their guitars overpriced.
