-Clockturners and Trinkets ~A bookstore-
The glass door easily admitted in the next visitor, setting off a series of bells that seemed to travel from the front of the store all the way to the back. The tinkling sounds filled the place with what sounded like an original song, but it was hard to tell with how the swelling sound faded as it traveled. Even so, the place seemed to be doing rather well for a bookstore. Though a lot of the people there seemed to be distracted by something more towards the center of the store.
After some pushing and cursedly spoken words, the center was reached, showing that this bookstore wasn't quite as simple as it appeared on the outside. Was it possible to become lost in this place? Oh, it was best to just believe it than live in wonder. But onto what was happening in the center of it all. Two slim figures seemed to be directing people to where they need to go, each one wearing a matching outfit of a different color. Which was probably a good thing since there were no features that differed from the other. In case that wasn't clear, the girls were twins. One tag read 'Syna' and the other read 'Quil', which were only seen fleetingly when they turned in a direction that revealed them.
"NEXT!!" Quil, the girl more towards the left and seemed to favor darker shades of color, was waving the next patron over, listening to the requests before pointing in the right direction. "Horror and Occult, towards the back! Please don't get nervous if there are any cold shivers or slight whispers in your ear. Enjoy! NEXT!!" Apparently, this one was also loud and brash and how did her outfit get approved by the Headmaster anyway?
"Please, right this way!" Syna seemed to be more polite as she guided hers, blushing darkly when one seemed much too.. personal, for her tastes. Syna also liked lighter shades and was a bit more covered than her sister, but only by a little bit. "Please move away. I'm not your reading section." But they both paused suddenly, their eyes widened slightly before they seemed to shift onto a single focus. The new person who walked into the shop. Bowing to the current patrons, they both shifted over to stand before them, a huge smile on their faces.
"Welcome to Clockturners and Trinkets, the best bookstore to ever be created!" They now spoke in unison, their matching eyes alight with happiness and joy at being able to do their jobs. "Any book--"
"From anywhere--"
"From anyTIME!"
"Can be found here within our hallowed halls!" It was an interesting show to say the least, as the rest of the patrons were rather entranced by it all. "Please, please ask away! Should you need a book, ask one of us and we can guide you in the right direction!" Giggling, they swept another bow. "I'm Syna!"
"And I'm Quil! If you need anything at all, lemme know!" Then unable to ignore their remaining patrons for long, the two waved before returning to their task. All one could do at this point? Leave or wait in line and hope there wasn't a mosh pit somewhere in the throng of bodies.
Good luck! <3 Shop Description The only normal aspect of this shop was the entrance way. Past that spanned a huge maze of shelving, dead ends and books upon books.. oh, did I mention more books than anyone could read in a lifetime? It was way too easy to get lose in this place, even with the attendants pointing the way, so for those who truly wish to explore the area to get a feel of it, can acquire a map at no charge from either one of the girls. But.. hey, did that bookshelf move?! Could have sworn it hadn't been there before...
Maybe the map won't be much help after all...
Everything was in its own section, so it’s simple to find the topic of one’s desires. Next came the hardest part…. Finding ones way back. Though there is a word of caution for those who are interested in the darker themed books towards the back of the shop. The girls are hesitant to let anyone outside the administration there for their own reasons, but prove your worth to them and they may allow you. Oh, what could be hidden back there? What kind of histories or magical books could be hidden there that wouldn’t be sold in the hobby shops? The girls will never say.

-Archon't Pharmacy-
“Kukuku… ahehehhehehe…” The creepy laughter that flowed through the room was at such a pitch that the small hairs on a person’s body immediately stood to attention. Holy crap, was that a tape?! Please… be a tape. What on earth was with this store?! First the dim lights, the spots of complete darkness. And now creepy laughter?!
“Welcome.” Hell, could have said bang and it would have had to same affect. After shoving ones lungs back into their normal position, the guest was left staring at a rather small teen who was cackling low at them. “Welcome… to the Pharmacy.” Her red eyes seemed to glow with a twisted intent as she moved closer to study her latest customer, her brown hair tied back into a series of braids. “Oh, you look all nice and healthy. Good, good. Wouldn’t want you to get sick now… wouldn’t taste good, I’m sure.”
Very… very creepy. Moving away, and bumping into a shelf filled with various bottles, she only watched with more of that twisted, creepy laughter. Why did she seem demented? “Is there something you need? Best to make your selection fast.” Her eyes shifted to an old fashioned clock that had just gone off, sounding more like a death toll than a typical grandfather clock. “Oh. It’s feeding time.” The grin on her face started off slowly as she turned to look at her guest, rubbing her fingers together. “Would you like to meet my pets?” Shop Description Even before one entered this shop, there was a strange air about it. One that caused people to hesitate before opening the door. It felt… evil? Creepy? Terrifying? It was hard to say. But the aura of this building, if such places had aura, was that guests were in for a hell of a ride in this place. Ignoring the tinkling bell that resounded overhead, it took a bit for eyes to adjust to the odd dimness of this shop. It was a Pharmacy, right? Why did it have the feel of a Halloween haunted house? The freaky lights that seemed to flicker off and on at random times only added to this strange feel.
Weird… very weird indeed. Why was there this sudden urge to grab a gun and be on the look out for flesh eating zombies? Was this Silent Hill? Resident Evil? What.. the hell… Then was it really true that a complete psycho nutcase had built this Pharmacy so long ago? Rumor also had it that he died shortly after it opened, leaving his daughter in charge of it. It was also said that when one spoke to the girl, she would speak of her father as if he was still alive… let’s stop that thought.
But the inside was like any other Pharmacy. Heart medicine, stomach pills, aspirin, it was all there. Though there were also oddly marked bottles with labels such as ‘Love Potion 438, guaranteed to make you love interest.. and a few other people.. fall for you’ and ‘Bloated Guts pellets’, thankfully there weren’t that many of them. May it also be noted there was a small place to get ice cream towards the back. But would one really wish to venture there since there seemed to be absolutely no light back there? And why could one hear the sounds of growling back there??

-The Killing Light ~Clothing-
Loud rock music was heard before the door even opened into this shop. Was that heavy metal? Hmmm...unable to be sure at the moment. All that was easy to assume was that it was pretty damn loud. Standing on a dias that led down more into the store, it was easy to see the three attendants who manned this store. One at the register, the second restocking some rather punk styles outfits on a floor below the entrance floor and a third, who seemed the only ‘preppy’ dressed of the three was hanging up more formal wear.
Maybe they were deaf and that was why they didn’t seem to care about the music. Though it did have a nice beat to it. “Oy! Welcome!” Ah, the guests arrival had been spotted by the girl at the front counter, a bright smile on her face. Her name tag read Kuika when one got close enough to notice it on top of her mesh shirt. “Welcome to Killing Light! What can I do you for?” Shifting off her chair, multi-colored lighting above her shone off her set of rings, one for each of her slim fingers and almost blinding her customer as she shifted them a bit. “Looking for something formal or something casual? Here at the K.L, we have everything you need to become the hottest dude on campus! First level is casual gear. Second level is formal. Underground is your one spot source for videos, CDs and games! We even sell PSP and DS as well as other systems! Sorry, if you’re looking for manga, we no longer sell it here. Gotta go to Clockturners for that. There’s also an area where you can buy furniture for you room should you want it. Anything trendy, you can only find it here at K.L! Maybe.. if you’re good and shop here a lot, you can get a discount! So.. how about it, handsome? What can we do you for?” Shop Description Within itself, it could be said that the Killing Lights was a mini mall within itself, except it was all for clothing basically. The first section of the shop which included the entrance and front service counter, was placed on an attic sort of setting, allowing visitors to see all of the shop in a fell swoop. Second floor, though it’s called “First level” by the workers, was held for the casual gear, though there were some goth clothing tossed in as well. Shoes, boots and socks, as well as accessories for this style of clothing were close by one of the many dressing rooms of the place. This floor is easy to reach by heading down the only set of spiraling stairs to the left of the service counter.
Second level, technically the third floor, was for the formal gear. School uniforms, dress outfits and the like could be found here. It was also easy to reach there, walking down the stairs towards the largest dressing room on First Level. Accessories and footwear for this styling can also be found by the dressing rooms. The largest area of this place, and the shop was already pretty big to begin with, was the Underground, which required a quick trip down an elevator at the back of the Second Level, or to the direct left of the entrance.
Movies, posters, videos, DVDs.. the list only seemed to grow as one delved deeper into this area. Ah, seemed there was a fourth worker there, who was too busy playing a PSP to really take much notice of visitors at the moment. It’s a relaxing thought to know one doesn’t have to rag everything back upstairs to just pay for it. Furniture was more towards the back of this area, everything well lighted so everything on display was easy to say. It was also easy to assume that many people spent a lot of time there just hanging out, since there were tons of well used chairs laying about.

- Hyuani Food Courts-
So many wonderful smells all in one place? Oh yeah, could only mean one thing. It was time to eat! And the Hyuani was just about to open for business. Watching through the glass sliding door, the sounds of girls chattering merrily as food was fried, baked, broiled or basically prepared for the upcoming day. Wow.. how short could some of those skirts get?! Sweet!
But it wasn’t time to enter the court yet, for the doors were still locked. What a bummer. So it was to watch and wait. Though the tantalizing smells were making all mouths water. It was almost lunchtime! Open! Open! All the attendants working each stand were more than used to the crowds of impatient hungry males and occasional female so they were just taking their time. Good food was not meant to be rushed.
When it seemed like customers were gonna starve at the door, a huge gong sounded, the doors unlocked and customers were allowed in. “Welcome to Hyuani!” Ten girls managed each stall, with a crew of five girls to help out. It was a girl heaven.. if one wanted to think of it that way. As the welcoming message was chanted by each girl, they set up trays with the specials of the day. “Please, make your selection!” Shop Description
The largest store in the Chikami Mall and for obvious reasons. Since it was a food court, there simply had to be enough space to house all the various food stands to be had. From every corner of the globe, there was a stand to represent every continent. There even was a McDonalds, a Subway and even a KFC. Hey, had to have the heavy hitters, right?
The more Asian themed food stalls were more towards the right side of this outpost, their attendants more than happy to give their customers a true taste of their culture. Yes, chicken feet and all sorts of other body parts of animals one wouldn’t typically eat was also served with a daring grin and a wink. Besides them, the Italian courts and Spanish/Mexican food teased the taste buds, as if daring customers to come try out their wares instead.
Rivalry in the court? Wouldn’t know what you were talking about! Everyone got along rather well… at times. However, it was safe to say that no one left the food court still hungry. And the three dessert stalls made sure there was a sweet ending for any meal chosen at the Hyuani.

-The Infinitum ~Nature's Bounty-
Sandalwood? Maybe.. cinnamon? Could that be the intoxicating scent that filled this entire shop? One could even catch faint hints of it in passing. Maybe it was a bakery of some sort, since there was nothing that would give the visitor any idea what kind of store it was, if one was to judge from the outside of the place… Looked more like a bakery of sorts than anything else.
So it was inside to see what it was. And it was a far cry from a bakery, though there did appear to be a small café type corner more towards the back of the store. Now that wonderful smell was everywhere it seemed, but it wasn’t too strong or stifling. Whoever had set it had obviously had enough practice in order to get it to where it wasn’t an overpowering force.
Shelves lined with stones ranging from semi-precious to rare precious stones were to one side, books and scrolls from several ages lines another. A display case in the center seemed to be showing off a necklace made from dragons fangs. And towards the back.. could it be an Elvin crafted bow?! So many wonderful things to see and it would take a long while to look over everything the shop had to offer. There was a faint sound of tinkling bells before a barefooted girl emerged from the back. Her fair hair was drenched and clinging gently to her back, perhaps she had just finished a bath? But she knew she had visitors for her eyes were focused on them, a gentle smile on her face. “Your arrival was spoken. Welcome to the Infinitum… of Nature’s Bounty, we freely offer Her wares here. Look to your heart’s content… please ring any bell you find when you are ready to make a purchase.” Shop Description Infinitum was shaped like a tall cylinder, so everything about this place (shelves, walkways and such) were custom crafted to fit its styling. Yet it all seemed to work into a spiral. Except for the large door in the back, which was most likely the staff’s area, and the huge display case filled with weapons in the front, all other items for sell were on shelves that led up. Thankfully the stairs were rather wide so many people could move around safely and still look at everything. Magical stones, books and scrolls about magical beings, eras of the elves, history of the were, the rise of human-kind, all seemed to be there. Some seemed to be old, yet looked brand spanking new. At the very top of this scenic tour was the planetarium, where one could relax on the several large beanbag chairs and study the movements of the stars. Or just kick back and chat with friends about classes or things of the like.
The manager of this shop was Eyul, who seemed to float in and out of the two levels like a ghost, often scaring people with her silent ways. But should anyone have questions about her inventory or which stars would be showed that day, and she was more than happy to explain or offer a service. Though she got a bit quiet about the room in the back, anyone who went over towards that area of the shop could swear they heard the sounds of a waterfall, but such a thing couldn’t be here on the island, right?

-Euphoria Spas-
As the door slid open, the sounds of slippered feet moving towards the entrance was easily heard. Though the sounds seemed kind of… shy and nervous more than anything else. A slim girl wearing a formal kimono hurried into view, her black hair carefully tied back into a traditional bun, not a single strand allowed out of place. Her blue eyes were gentle as she bowed before her latest guest. “Welcome to the Euphoria Spas. The all in one place to find your spiritual center and balance. I hope you find your stay enjoyable.”
Her somewhat shaky and timid voice only added to her entire aura, which just radiated a nervous that went much deeper than being shy around people. “Please, come this way to register and collect your room key…” As she turned to head towards a desk that was set in the center of the room, the cloth of her kimono caught under her foot and she fell with a soft thud.
But no matter how soft the sound, a distant door slammed open and a harsh female voice rang out, causing the fallen girl to cringe in fear. “Mizumi! Are you disgracing yourself in front of customers again?!”
“I… I’m sorry!” Hurriedly picking herself up, she dusted off her outfit as best she could, letting the other woman rail at her as much as she could. Swallowing hard, she breathed a sigh of relief as the door was slammed shut again and she looked at the guest sheepishly. “Please ignore that.. anyway… it’s this way…” Shop Description For those who had been to Shinjuku Bathhouse, it was obvious there were some rather obvious differences between that place and here. The first that would be noticed was how Euphoria had sleek white walls and black tiling, which could be possibly be black marble or something equally expensive. Past the entrance way, where there were places to either side to place ones shoes, slippers were aligned on the stop so customers had something warm to slip into. There were only three doors that could be seen and each was directly across from the main receptions desk in the center.
Through the left door was the spa area, where one could soak and rest a weary soul from long days of either studying or magic casting. Or.. other strenuous outdoor or indoor activities. To the right was the salon. Wish to get a make over? Try a new hair style? The Euphoria Salon was the best place for it! All the attendants were carefully skilled, so they shouldn’t mess up anyone badly! Unless they were new students, of course.
The final door was marked ‘Employee’s only’. Ah, must be the staff room.. but surely, one had to be allowed back there one in awhile, right? It also seemed to be the direction in which that voice had sounded before...

-The Observatory .: Of Logical Mind :.-
The sounds of whirling mechanisms and beeps from various computers was the main greeting sounds as one entered the Observatory. Everything a budding scientist to the well seasoned pros could possibly need was in that shop. Though, at first glance, it seemed rather crowded with so much stuff. How did anyone find what they wanted here?
“Can I help you?” Spinning promptly, shiny goggles were seen as the attendant tilted her head at her guest. The lenses were made of red tinted glass, numbers seeming to be running all along its surface. “I didn’t even hear you come in! I must be getting slow.” Reaching up with a slightly dirty hand, the goggles were pushed up further on top of dark red hair, soft brown eyes blinking at the sudden glare. “Welcome to the Observatory: of Logical Mind!
“I can see that you’re a science student, or else you probably wouldn’t be here.” A cute grin appeared on her face as she headed off towards a very cluttered counter, which was most likely where people went to make purchases. “If you need to find anything, there’s a sign before each aisle. Read them carefully to find your way. If you’re still lost, you can always use a guide.” As if on cue, a small orb with blinking blue and green lights appeared from one of the many rows, hovering around them happily. “Just tell it where you wanna go and off ya go! Enjoy your stay!”
Bowing deeply, she returned to what she had been doing. Probably building something else to add to the already well stocked inventory. Was that why it was so cluttered? Could it be... hmm... Shop Description The Observatory was shaped like it was named after: an observation tower. At the very top was a telescope that could be used to watching comets and the movements of the stars for scientific research, though a permit is required to use it and could only be bought there. Starting from the bottom was the very overly cluttered main shop, run by the rather quiet and often-time absent minded Cloh, it’s always filled with an assortment of goodies. Now, the true test was the tell which products were imported to the island and which were handmade by Cloh.
The orbs were called Minji and could be used for various uses, like searching for certain items or being just very good guides. And if Clog feels like parting with some, she doesn’t overly mind selling them out for other outside uses as well. Heard a rumor that they were good with housekeeping. It wasn’t that the Observatory was a place to get lost in, but with so many things placed on the many shelves, it was potentially dangerous. Best to watch ones step while wandering through the halls.
A short elevator ride up brought guests to the tower and the telescope. This area is the biggest space in all the shop, since it needed hold the telescope without collapsing. And there were tons of comfortable places to rest and watch the comets as they sailed through the stars.

-Shinjuku Bathhouse-
As one stepped through the sliding glass door leading into the bathhouse, the sounds of girls humming was easily heard throughtout the large, empty space. The only thing that seemed to decorate this area of the mall, other than doors and some lamps, was a half circle desk of sorts.
"We, the girls of Shinju~"
It seemed like it would be a rather nice song... or at least, the start of one, if it wasn't for the sounds of something hitting the ground, abruptly cutting off the harmony. A racket of noise was heard next, mainly questions of "Are you okay?", "Does it hurt?", "Why can't you pay attention to what you're doing?!" and "How many times have we had to start over the song?!". Apparently, this was a normal occurrence here at Shinjuku. But what exactly happened was hidden behind one of many large white sliding doors, each decorated with various mystical animals, or symbols on others. The door marked 'Male's Only' was slammed open and a slim figure came out, her aura showing clearly that she was the one in charge. Not noticing anyone there as of yet, she turned around and sighed heavily, her pitch black hair wrapped up with a scarf of some sort, some strands sticking out wherever they would anyway.
"Honestly, you need to be more careful. That's why there are shoes to wear while you're cleaning." An embarrassed 'sorry' was heard before the door closed again. It was then that the guest was noticed and an embarrassed flush appeared on this girl's face. "Ah! Please forgive me! If I had known.." Her grey eyes reflected worry that she had offended as she rushed towards the desk and took a seat on the podium there, bowing deeply before him. "Please, come this way! Welcome to Shinjuku! I am Ariyon, the Manager of this establishment."
A bit of a pause came next as Ariyon looked around a bit nervously before finally whispering, "If you overheard what happened, please forgive us. There are five others who work here with me.. and one is rather new." Finally, the sounds of the girls' singing had returned, thankfully without interuption this time around.
But Ariyon was speaking, so it was best to pay attention. "We offer many services here at Shinjuku... please, sign in the register and look over our services. Whichever pleases you best, a girl will be more than happy to take you where you need to go." Reaching into a drawer, she pulled out a thick, weathered tome and set it before her, placing a pen next to it before flipping the pages to a blank spot. It was obvious the Bathhouse was a popular place to go. "Please, sign right here." Shop Description Built like a traditional bathhouse, there was a section where customers could place their footwear and place on the cotton slippers that were available. Three doors lined either side of the bathhouse, each one marked with different symbols or animals. Whatever the girls felt would be most proper for their home.
Several types of baths were available here. The left side of the shop was for mud baths, herbal baths and the massage tables were there as well. The right side of the shop was for male bathing, female bathing and co-ed, for those who truly didn’t care who saw them naked. Though all customers had to sign in at the half circle shaped receptionist desk as well as pay for fees after their treatment was over.
Here and there, the girls of Shinjuku could be seen hard at work, humming to themselves or with each other as they carried on their various tasks. Never did they have a problem with stopping what they were doing to answer a question or two.

Rations
This store is one of the newer ones, large and spacious behind glass doors. Upon entering, one would find aisles upon aisles of food, and not the typical run-of-the-mill grocery stuff either: imports, specialties and easy travel foods are at your disposal.
"Don't be fooled by the name," is the standard jovial greeting of the gentleman who works the checkout, "we have more than mere rations." He's a middle aged man of short salt and pepper hair with a kindly but weathered smile; his name tag proclaims that his name is Al, and that he'd be happy to help you with any of your food related needs. The way he regards others beneath heavy brows and his barked words indicate that there's a good chance he was in some type of military duty.
"Twenty aisles," Al boasts, clearly pleased with the shop in his care, "cleaned three times a day and restocked just as often. If I don't have something, I'll try to order it for you, just give me the time!" The aisles themselves are long and full to the brim, containing every color and shape of box, can, tube and bag imaginable. If you can't find it here, it may not exist! Shop Description This shop can put just about any grocery store chain to shame. It's huge - easily three times the size of a normal shop in the mall - with twenty aisles of dry, packaged and canned foods. The back of the store has a display for necessary meat - fish, small game, big game, nothing like sirloin or the ilk - it is seasonal and depends on the trade for that time of the year. The far right of the building contains the meager frozen food section ("This shop is for the real world," Al would tell you should you ask, "and you wont have a microwave in the middle of war!"), from frozen goods to treats like ice cream. The left side of the store contains something like a candy store but less flashy; most sweet tooths can likely find something of interest here. Next to it is a small bookcase of recipes; don't be fooled, they aren't exactly Betty Crocker...
Rations is where you would go if you want ingredients to make your own meal, or to find acceptable food and/or meals for travel. There's specialty foods available or for order, so if you have your heart set on something, it might be plausible as long as it's logical ("Steak? Lobster? This isn't a restaurant son, shape up or ship out!"). Keep in mind that the foods here are mostly ingredients for preparation or goods secure for travel. If you want hamburger meat or frozen steak fries, you might as well head to the food court now before Al loses his temper!
