I personally think that this is a good game. Graphics are nice, controls are smooth,(When you get the hang of them) guns....just as cool as in the show.
Anyway....this is the topic for, Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex: The game, this is where you discuss the characters, levels, weapons, whatever you want. BUT this thread is going to pull out some spoilers so if you have not played the game....read at your own risk. 3nodding

BUT this thread is going to pull out some spoilers so if you have not played the game....read at your own risk. 3nodding I find the game to be one of the few GOOD anime games... but I still only recommend it to people that watch the show... it's in third person, so you can always see your favorite character... the gameplay is fun... (exspeacaily as batou)about the only down side is when they decide to put in jumping puzzles for motoko... they tend to take me 20 trys... I also love that it has multiplayer and at one point you can control a tachikoma... the game also has a lot of replay value, where you go and blow up these paper fans.. and there is alot of stuff to unlock...

My biggest complaint about the game would be the fact that there is no online play! I'd so own if there was online capabilities.
That and the fact that you are only the Tachikoma for one sticking level. stare What were they thinking?

You could design your own characters, and choose between mercs, public security and the rest. it would rock. *Sorry, I know that wasn't about the SAC game.*

That and the fact that you are only the Tachikoma for one sticking level. stare What were they thinking? you can unlock the tachikoma and play them in multiplayer... and I serously get the feeling we are over estimating anime games here people... I mean lets look back at other anime games... hmmm well only 80% of them are just arcade fighting games... as typical and easy to make as it gets.. once again.. I felt like they went the extra distance just by giving it multiplayer...

the game! i'm so happy someone mentioned this. i'm sort of stuck at the part where the monorail crashes, and i can't really find anything to do but kill the guards on the stairs and walk around doing nothing... if someone could provide some help, it'll be greatly appreciated!

__Witch_ Hunter _Robin__ the game! i'm so happy someone mentioned this. i'm sort of stuck at the part where the monorail crashes, and i can't really find anything to do but kill the guards on the stairs and walk around doing nothing... if someone could provide some help, it'll be greatly appreciated! If memory serves me right, you need to go down the stairs and there's a ledge on the building that you need to jumpe to. That's all I remember, I would go check, but my GITS:SAC game is at my friend's house. Anyways, I love the game, multiplayer is great, I personally like how Motoko can do all the special jumps and dodges. It's great watching my friends' faces as I suddenly fly over their bullets. xd

yeah, it's so awesome! exactly! i like how they do some of it in slow motion and what not...DRAMATIC EFFECT!..sorry, i'm really hyper at the moment..
hehe...yeah, it's an awesome sight to see, isn't it?!

Not only the sight, but my friends yelling "What the f***?" as they completly miss me and fall pray to my assualt rifle. My one friend and me played for an hour, the end result being him killing me about 5 times and me killing him about 50 times. We were playing in the rice field and I kept hiding in the crops and then popping up when they passed by.

xd now that's a sight to see. I do the same to my sisters, and i end up winning big time to them as well. It's so hilarious when they don't know what hit them. I especially love using the sniper rifles (they're my absolute favorite) and then it's just even more funny!
*note* i'm going to try that tip you gave me right now.

Yeah, I like to use the homing rocket launcher, though it's a bit cheap at times. After a while I just dissable it because the fight turns real on-sided if someone finds it and the other person doesn't.

I actually prefer playing batou... my brother plays matoko.. he's pretty good at dodging my weapons and running away but ultimatly I kill him.... I would use the rocket launcher.... and he could actually dodge them.... then I fire another one and and dies because I can't dodge so quickly... xd
