Gaven burst from some trees, prancing like a little foal through the flowers. Each petal that fell from the flowers he crashed through floated on the wind in front of him, adding another playmate to his lonely game of tag. He chased the petals without concern, laughing heartily. When finally the wind gave way and let the petals fall Gaven stopped and sighed. His fun was over and now that it was he had better start heading home. He turned to go, and stopped dead in his tracks. A mortified expression came across his face as her spied a mare not too far away. How much of his little game had she seen. "Uh..." Gaven said sheepishly. "Hi?"

The mare, Bella, hadn't mentioned him frolicking like a fool. Maybe she had just arrived? He gave a soft smile of relief. "My name is Gaven," He answered softly to the mare as he made his way towards her. "And you are indeed correct, it is quite a lovely day." His tongue was sticking to the roof of his mouth as he spoke, dry from lack of water and his play. "Would you happen to know where a nearby stream or pond is?" He knew he shouldn't be asking for things from someone he had just met, but his thirst was winning out over his morals.

Gaven smiled and followed Bella. "The first thing I found was an old lady that I almost ran over by accident. The second thing was a fox the lady called Liku, who stole my sugar cube." He came up beside Bella as she paused, and it was then that he really got a good look at her. "Ya'know, you have really pretty eyes." He blurted out without meaning to as he gazed into them.

"Yes, a two legger. She has apparently met other soquili, and told me of certain ones I should avoid at any cost." He gave a small sigh. "I didnt know that there could be cruel soquili in this world. I knew there was mean, there is always mean, but cruel..." He continued to follow Bella silently until they got to the river. It was a beautiful place, and food being near by was a lovely perk. Gaven gave a quick "Thank you," before plunging his head into the water and drinking deeply. After a few good minutes of drinking he raised his head and headed off to the strawberries. They weren't the largest he had seen, but then again they weren't fully grown yet. Finding one that was rather large compared to the rest he plucked it and trotted back to Bella. "Would you like some?" He asked as he offered it to Bella.

Gaven stepped forward to give Bella the berry, but paused. He didn't want to invade her personal boundaries but short of throwing the berry at her, which would be rude, he had no choice. He stayed where he was and stretched his neck and gave her the berry. He felt foolish for not getting closer, but he had just met her and he felt that it was wrong to.

He took a few steps back and smiled at Bella. He turned to look at the stream longingly for a moment. It didn't look too deep, but seemed deep enough to go up to his chest. He turned back to Bella, his tail flicking slightly with excitement. "Would you mind if I went for a swim?"

Gaven didn't even notice Bella trying to splash him as he crashed into the water. The once peaceful stream rippled madly at the commotion Gaven had caused. He chuckled as he dipped his head under the cool and refreshing water. After a moment he surfaced again. "You coming in?"
