~ | what to post where... |

The guild is fairly simple, and if you accidentally place something in the wrong place, no worries, someone will fix it. Regardless, here is a quick guide of where things are meant to go!

Quests, OOC chatter, event organizing threads, discussion threads, basically anything that ISN'T roleplay, journals, or some sort of shop or information database goes here.

Journals go in the journal subforum. (Please be careful to note the OLD journal subforum from the new one - journals go in the new one!)

Roleplay threads can go in the roleplay subforum. Private roleplays or other sorts done elsewhere may be posted in journals as well.

And finally, extended information about the shop, mansion, and other Inspired nonsense goes in the services subforum, as well as minishops (should there be any) or IC shops/short rp frequented zones. (aka a shop where ICly purchase is required, but rps are usually only a post or two, where as the thread itself is used over and over.)

| growth... | ~

Roleplay is quite required for all Inspired growth. There are not particular requirements for each stage to grow, as growth is dependent on owner activity and artists availability (to an obvious degree in the later, mostly saying growths may happen early if the owner wants it and the artist has the time.)

Act One has no rp requirement, growth happens as soon as art is available.

Growth from Act Two and Act Three can be requested at any time thereafter, (by sending in a growth PM), though if we feel you have not completed enough rp growth will not occur until you've done so, but the growth request will remain on hand. For the growth form and a list of pending growths, look to the 'Inspired Underground' subforum.

Growth of a character generally happens ICly overnight, or during a day's sleep.

~ | journals... |

As has been stated many times before, Journals are not mandatory and are purely for your (and our!) enjoyment. How you wish to set up your journal, what context it is in, who is allowed to post there and what you do with it is entirely up to you.

Journals can house all of your Inspired (if you have more than one) or you can make one for each character; or group them up however you please. You can even share a journal with another person's character if the two of you desire.

The only thing we ask is to title your journal with something easily identifyable, including (ideally) the characters names or at least your own username. EX Selior's Journal, Diarmad's Princely Toilet Paper Scroll, etc.

Please make all journal threads in the journal subforum.

| Housing and Guardians... | ~

"The Inspired mansion and playhouse formally requests the attention of any and all potential guardians. Among the masses of adoption agencies and child-creating-corporations, the playhouse offers guardians the unique opportunities to acquire the loyalty and/or love of a quickly growing child, as well as free room and board in the exquisite mansion should it be required or desired. Monthly allowances allotted per child till adulthood (void if child is a)returned, b) lost, etc..) Prompt character interviews to be conducted on site. NO CRYPTOZOOLOGISTS." - Ad in the Mayweather Weekly, Inspired Mansion located some 60 miles outside Durem in the rural, mostly abandoned Victorian town Helmsburg.

Characters who require guardians, more specifically and usually those who go the route of child-teen-adult hood rather than how the Inspired were originally intended, can acquire them very simply. A long running ad in an nondescript section of the Mayweather Weekly promises a small adventure to any who dare take them up on their offer - and any result of phoning the place is met by a charming arabic sounding woman who says any and everything all too anxiously to get people to come in.

Once there, it's usually a werewolf, a genie, a necromancer or a teenage genuis that guides the prospective guardian down into the playhouse, where they are promptly introduced to either a preexisting child or costume piece in need of release.

What happens after that is purely anyones guess.

Housing arrangements, inside the exquisite mansion no less, are usually offered as well as a noteworthy allowance. (though characters are by no means required to live in the mansion.)

For more information on housing (such as a list of rooms that may be taken and available) go here. (thread in progress...)

What this means...
If you want to jump straight into roleplaying your character without doing any set up rps or what not, you can, although it may require certain things be 'assumed.' All costume pieces must be acquired from the mansion, and all costume pieces must be released on the playhouse stage floor. How a guardian goes about doing this is mostly up to you, or you can vouch for guardians to adopt after the child has already been released. If your character is a 'regular' Inspired and does not take the form of a child or require a guardian, roleplay can begin right at his or her 'release' or shortly after it, your choice! (in fact, if you wish to roleplay a 'wolfing run' child ((a child who does not have a guardian, and more or less fends for him/herself)) that is let loose in the mansion or elsewhere, you are welcome to. They would usually be offered room and board just like anyone else, and it might make for an interesting edge in roleplay as well.)

-- Selior is usually the one who releases the characters, at the moment. He often does so on a whim, or when requested to by an awaiting guardian. The sometimes grumpy, sometimes sadistically cheerful werewolf is generally disinterested when it comes to the subject of releasing new Inspired, and after doing so will often leave them without so much as a word 'Hello' to fend for themselves. This is the scenario that can be used for the release of new Inspired, especially if one does not wish to rp or figure out a more elaborate scenario. (as such, more 'elaborate' scenarios should be discussed with shop staff if they require the action of any character not owned by said owner.)
