Does anyone know how to definitely get a male or female child? The things I've heard are:

-During the pregnancy, if your husband's affection is high it will be a girl and if it's low it will be a boy: Maybe. Perhaps your husband's affection has to be 65,000+ throughout the pregnancy?

-If it's born on an even year it will be a girl and if it's born on an odd year it will be a boy: I've gotten a boy in both year 2 and year 3.

-If it's born on an even day it will be a boy and if it's born on an odd day it will be a girl: I got a boy both on winter 23 and spring 2.

-Restarting the day before the pregnancy event will not work

Skye just accepted the Blue Feather so I'll try the affection thing, but does anyone know for sure? Thanks!


Edit: This is going to sound really stupid, but does anyone know how to trigger the pregnancy event? I checked FoGU, but it doesn't say. Skye's heart was red and a different event happened...(Don't want to spoil it for anyone). I think it's because I didn't talk to him for ten days or so, but I'm not completely sure.

Thanks! I found that you don't have to talk to him every day, but you do have to talk to him about once a week even if his love points are above 60,000. If you don't he doesn't want a divorce, but [highlight]he'll say he's sick and refuses to come out of bed, which is a very strange event to get on the day the pregnancy event is supposed to happen[/highlight].

Yeah. I rushed through autumn and winter and relied on the festivals to get his heart up to red because cooking is annoying. Why does it constantly need to ask if you want to overwrite the recipe even if nothing has changed? neutral
