Ok. Yesterday at school, I was talking that she should see Elfen Lied, Then she said that there was a continuation, called...Well I forgot what was it called. So is there a continuation? question question

Personally, I don't think they should continue it. They would have a hard time with it. For one they would have to go along with the Mangas storyline. Which, I guess in a way it could be possible. They would have to play along with my idea of Mariko and Kurama surviving the explosion in the end. and my mind just went blank ... @.@;; I don't think they should make a continuation though .. I think they should just leave the series as it is. Even though it would be nice to see everything that happens in the manga happen in the anime.

To answer your question more directly, As far as I'm aware of the only Anime with ties to the Elfen Lied story line is the 13 Eps Series and one OVA eps. The OVA maybe what she was referring to, although it's not a continuation it actually goes around eps 11.

As for whether their should be a continuation... no. The anime differed from the Manga, so to get back on track would just ruin everything the 13 eps did. As far as surviving the explosion... is that possible eek I mean it was a bomb inside her... not like she could deflect the explosion with the vectors like with bullets. I don't see that happening at all, sorry. And for a continuation we have to know whether Lucy is still alive... which if she's not then it could be a lame continuation, and if she is alive then again it takes away from the 13 eps.

I would like a continuation but... I think that would detract from how much I enjoyed the story as is. confused
