Tobi is he or isn’t he Obito Uchiha?
what do you think and explain . I think he is. I just it would be a cool plot twist and that would be really cool.

I think he is... yeah that really would make a great twist because if he is. I know there are times i think he is and times when i don't think he is, but the times i think he is are way more then not. ok i kinda lost my point. lol.

Spoilers for recent manga chapters---
I used to think he was Obito, then the manga said he had the "power of Madara Uchiha" It didn't say he was Madara, but I'm assuming the "power of Madara" is the next phase of sharingan past mangekyo. I think Madara was the only one to ever have that since it's difficult to get...(kill your best friend, then kill your brother and take his eyes).
But then again he still could be Obito for a bunch of other reasons. I remember staying up way late writing a 3 page paper on it because I was bored and said manga chapter in the above paragraph wasn't out yet xd
There's always the theory that Obito got ressurected by someone/found by Zetsu/etc. after the rocks fell on him. Even some people say Madara resurected him and took his body (similar to how Orochimaru does)...
Most people say he's probably Madara, just because of the significance of him saying he has the "power of Madara". Sure theres more things that could point him to Obito, but evidence goes for quality not quantity...
I hope this all makes sense to you.
In my opinion, I believe he is Madara..but thats just me. But if he was Obito I think it would make a great plot twist as well.
I just realized how long this actually was...Thanks for reading it all xd

More manga spoilers---Ch 396
After reading my last text wall of a message I'll try to keep this one short...
In the recent chapter (396) on page 17, the notes at the bottom refer to Tobi as Madara...
It's not looking good for the Tobi/Obito theory ): . Too bad since I was hoping he was...
But it still only shows one of his eyes...
On another note, this has to be my favorite theory in the whole Naruto world, that's why I'm responding so much... : )

I think the Akatsuki resurected Madara using Obito's body and that when Tobi is happy and a good boy he is Obito. But evil Tobi is Madara.

i think madara has a jutsu that made orochimaru think hey i can become immortal and inspired him to copy it in other words i think madara may be able to continue living by using other uchihas as hosts for his soul or obito felt betrayed somehow and kinda lived through the boulder thingy and became madara as if the the name madara is the title for the champion uchiha but we have to look at the fact that kakashi and tobi did not seem to reconise each other

but obito lost his right eye thats how kakashi got the sharingan. but tobi has his right eye.
