The Gathering of 100 Ghostly Tales? I'm wondering wether it would be worth it to do the dumbed down four candle version. (4 is supposedly the Japanese number for death.) Maybe we could play this game...

The basic rules are that you light either four or one hundred candles and then cut all other lights. Once you do that you begin telling ghost stories extingushing a candle each time you finish a story. Once you extingush the final candle a spirit is supposed to be summoned.
It's unlikely that any person could have 100 candles safely so they lowered the number to four. Which as I said before is the Japanese number for death... Nine or thirteen would also probably work since they're also unlucky numbers.

Oh! I have heard of that, actually. It was just told differently when I read about it.
The rules were basically the same, but you used a single flashlight instead of candles.

It'd be fun if I could actually find some friends who could be out late. All my friends either live to far, have to go to bed before it actually gets late, or just goes to bed early out of habit... Kind of sucks to be the only one of my usual group who is already out of highschool. stare

Meh... Could be worse I guess... But yeah. Some of this is probably due to my horrible luck with "relationships" I seem to have bad karma or something... But oh well. At least some friends come over occasionally.

hmm i never knew that nine was unlucky bc thats my fav number lol and i wanna try that some day but i dont know any ghost storys at all really either gonk

That sounds really fun but just be carful because if your not that spirit my get into your house and haunt it, and if your extremly unlucky you could get a demon in your house.
