The sun was out, shining on a meadow of flowers, wild flowers of all shapes, sizes and colors. Sadly, Andor couldn't even call a day as beautiful as this a good one. Leaning down, he tore up some flowers, chewing them slowly... lifelessly. He wasn't sure what to do with himself, he didn't know where to go, what to do, he figured his best bet was wandering aimlessly. But didn't even aimless wandering get you someplace? He wasn't sure how long he'd been wandering all over, he'd never found anything familiar, nor had he found anything worth while. The world was just a cruel place, a place for him to trapped until something worse happened... until history repeated itself... Until then, he was forced to endure what the world forced upon him.

Leaning down, he tore up some more flowers, not caring about their "beauty" or "significance", everything was bland, dull and boring in this stallion's eyes. While he chewed he heard the chains on his body jingling as they hit each other. The disgusting, human, constraints that reminded him daily of that one part of his life. The part that had taken away all hope, all reminder of anything that was good, the part of life that had ruined him. He blamed himself for being too kind, too accepting and not worrying about himself. He'd never do the same thing again, he'd learned his lesson, he was no longer a naive colt. Andor had grown, and vowed never to let anyone close enough to hurt him.

The worst thing about the world were the things living in it... two-leggers, horses, even smaller animals... he blamed them all. The world would have been a happier place if he was alone, always alone. But no, instead he had to always be alert and search for those out to hurt him... they were all out to hurt him. Sickening and sadistic, that's what they were. The stallion's eyes darkened as he stopped chewing on his flowers and looked across the field. Never again... he promised himself as he lowered his head once again, never again...
