i took taekwondo for 12 years but after about 5, i did it mostly for sport.. especially after it got in the olympics.

I used to take karate with my cousin when I was younger and graduated to yellow belt, but then the days we had practice sessions changed and it was too inconvenient to my schedule, so I had to drop it. sad I really miss it, though, and have been wanting to take a new martial art for the last two years. I'm thinking about taking up kendo when I have the time, maybe this summer.

How many different asian types of fighting are there? Because i know quite a few; such as... martial arts, kung fu, tae kwon do...

taekwondo for a good three year, hand to hand combat (went in knight training, so i learn wepon's) hmmm learn a little taichi, ninjetsu, fenching, kendo, and army tactic's and learning to use guns and such.
