RP LOG THREE- AT THE BALL (LAST NIGHT)
Hasu says: Darcia wandered the corridors and rooms. He was looking for someone familar. Someone he was slowly getting to know.
Em says: Izanami haunted the dancefloor, watching the other couples and wondering how she looked when she danced. She thought she saw Darcia and drifted around to see if it were him but he vanished too fast. If it were him at all.
Hasu says: Darcia stopped and looked over his shoulder. "Izanami?" he said but there was no one there. He blinked and started retracing his steps. "Izanami! Good Evening." He said after finding her.
Em says: "Is it?" asked Izanami. "I want to dance again," she said expectantly.
Hasu says: Darcia blinked then smiled. "Alright then." He said taking her and leading into a dance.
Em says: "You're here again... why?" asked Izanami. "You don't dance with anyone else."
Hasu says: "I am here with some members of my herd. I like dancing with you. Why would I dance with someone else?" he replied.
Em says: "Because there are other girls here," said Izanami.
Hasu says: "The other girls seem occupied with these princes."
Em says: "They aren't princes," said Izanami. "Princes aren't very nice. You're not a prince. That's a good thing."
Hasu says: He grinned. "A good thing Indeed. I think I would be in loads of trouble if I wasn't nice."replied Darcia. He continplated spinning her.
Em says: "Trouble? From?" asked Izanami.
Hasu says: "Anyone who didn't like me if I were a prince. I don't think many people like the idea of a prince with a foul attitude.."
Em says: "You have a foul attitude?" asked Izanami. "You don't have one with me."
Hasu says: "I don't have a foul attitude.. I was speaking figuratively." he replied.
Em says: This just confused Izanami more. "Figuratively? Like what?"
Hasu says: "Well you said its a good thing Im not a prince, cause Im nice. So I was saying, That if I was a prince I don't think many people would like me and I could get into trouble for not being nice."
Em says: "Oh," said Izanami. "I get it," she smiled warmly. "You're funny."
Hasu says: He smiled. "Thank you." he said. And with that he spun her, curious to see how she would do with it.
Em says: Izanami spun around and came back with a thump. "I'm thirsty," she said. "I'm getting a drink. You can come too."
Hasu says: "Alright." He said following her.
Em says: Izanami lead the way to the refreshments table. She poured herself a drink and nudged the bowl towards Darcia. "It's yummy... different to last night."
Hasu says: "Thank you" he said pouring himself a drink. "You did well on that spin. At this rate you will be a better dancer then me." he said chuckling.
Em says: "That's not true," said Izanami. "But I think you're trying to be nice, so it's nice of you to say."
Hasu says: "You really are getting better! Ive never seen someone learn so fast!" he said taking a sip from his drink.
Em says: "That's nice of you to say," said Izanami. "How many others have you taught?"
Hasu says: "Just a few. I actually learned with my sister... Just from watching others."
Em says: "Just from watching? But you seem just as good as the otehrs," said Izanami. "Your sister? Who's she?"
Hasu says: "Her name Is Willow." he replied.
Em says: "That's a nice name, like the tree?" asked Izanami. "Is she here tonight, Darcia?"
Hasu says: "Yes... Like the tree. But sadly.. She is not here tonight... She is will my younger brothers. Though perhaps sometime I can introduce you to her?"
Em says: Izanami nodded. "Ok. I'd like to see her. She sounds very nice."
Hasu says: He smiled. "She is very nice. Im sure she would love to meet you. Care to finish our dance?"
Em says: "Oh yes. I didn't mean to interupt it.." She took his arm.
Hasu says: "It's good to take a break every now and then." he relied dipping her slightly.
Em says: Izanami thought deeply. "I suppose this could be a break for me. I haven't had one for... ever."
Hasu says: "Even Gate Keepers need a break sometimes." he replied.
Em says: Izanami smiled. "What do you do on a break?"
Hasu says: "I personally like walking in the woods. But you can do anything you want."
Em says: "Are there woods around here? I haven't walked into the woods... I'd like to try... why do you like it?" asked Izanami.
Hasu says: "There are woods near where I live." he smiled thinking. "I think I like the wood because it has a calming effect on me. If I am upset about something I can go in the woods and I can relax."
Em says: "Calming... you don't seem high strung," said Izanami.
Hasu says: He shruged. "I may not seem like I have problems.. But I have my moments.."
Em says: "Moments... they are all the same," said Izanami. "I hope they are few and far between."
Hasu says: "Hmm.. I guess you dont have any place to unwind do you?" He sighed. "Even gate keepers need their own little hide-away."
Em says: "I don't get wound," said Izanami. "My job isn't really stressful. Just sad. Just so so sad..." She looked downcast.
Hasu says: He gave her another small hug. "Even if you're sad. Its good to get away. You... you could always go to my woods if you want.." he offered. "Just to get away."
Em says: "I don't know where it is," said Izanami.
Hasu says: "Ill show you some time." He said spinning her... yet again.
Em says: Izanami wobbled and lost her footing. "The blood's running... around my head," she mumbled. "What is this feeling?"
Hasu says: "You could possibly be dizzy...or you could be coming down with something.. Though I hope its just a dizzy spell. I'd hate to see you sick." he said leading her to a chair so that she could rest a bit.
Em says: "What is 'dizzy'?" asked Izanami. She sat. "I've never felt this way before."
Hasu says: "Dizzy is when you feel light-headed and your vision blurs or things look like they are spinning around. Sometimes the blood will rush to your head." he said.
Em says: "Bl-blood?" asked Izanami intensely. "Blood?"
Hasu says: He blinked. "Um.. It will subside after a few minutes... Sorry if I spooked you or anything... Are you feeling any better?"
Em says: "But you... said... mmm," Izanami shook her head wildly. "I think... I think I might have had to much time away from my post," she said softly. There was a grinding sound in her head that she had been ignoring and couldn't anymore. She was...
hungry...
Hasy says: He tilted his head slightly. "You look a little worn. Is going back to your post a good move when you might not be feeling well?"
Em says: "At my post," said Izanami, trying to dull her ears. She could hear the blood pumping through Darcia's veins and saw the pulse in his neck. She turned her head away. "At my post there are... subjects for... my... there is food for me..."
Hasu says: "Ah.. Now I see.. You need to feed...No wonder you got jumpy when I said blood..."
Em says: Izanami blinked at him. He seemed very dense. All she could see around her were very nice throats and she abruptly turned and ran out into the garden to get away from them- she didn't want to cause a scene.
Hasu says:
Stupid, stupid, stupid, STUPID! he hissed in his mind. HOW could he miss that. "Izanami!" he yelled running after her. "Izanami, Wait!"
Em says: Izanami bolted into the sparse but old trees at the far end of the garden (I imagine this like a hogwarts yule ball kinda thing) and waited. She didn't want to hurt anyone. But maybe...
Maybe if somone blunders into the forest... maybe they won't mind if you take a cup or two. That would tide you over... over a long time... said a traiterous voice in her head. Ugh, no! She sank down on her hunches and tried to will away her hunger. It had been a long time snce she'd cried but she could feel one coming on.
Hasu says: He scanned what he could see of the garden... Nothing.
Well of course, nothing you twit! If something is
wrong she doesn't want a scene to happen so close to the ball! said an ringing in his ears. He shook his head and ran to the forest. Maybe in there?
Em says: Izanami concentrated on moving her hunger down away from her other senses. She was so self-absorbed that she didn't hear somone else enter the forest.
Hasu says: He stood at the base of a tree looking down. "Izanami....." He said quietly. He sat down beside her carefully so as to not spook her. "Izanami?" he said again gently. "Talk to me...."
Em says: Izanami came to herself when she felt warm breath in the atmosphere. She reluctantly curcled out of her position, and looked at Darcia. Her pupiuls were the size of pinprics. Her fangs had grown to drip further over her fangs like sick stalagtites. "You shouldn't have come," she said thickly. "You really shouldn't. I left so I wouldn't bite anyone... And now you should run."
Hasu says:
Your screwed pal. the voice rang in his ears again. "I'm not going to run. I actually think its a little to late to even try to run. Your going to need blood reguardless." he said.
Em says: "Ragardless?" Asked Izanami, an almost audible lisp suffusing her words. "Regardless... of what?" She could smell his blood. He was scared. Or... no not so much scared as... nervous... anxious... for whom? If it were for him it would be fear- but she couldn't smell his fear. Perhaps he was anxious for her, not about her, But that was silly. No-one would not see her and be scared.
Hasu says: "Even if you didn't leave the ball you would still need blood. So you would have to get it from someone." he said.
Even if that means getting it from me. he thought to himself. Somehow, he wasn't scared of his current position. He was to nervous over her to worry about himself.
Em says: "It wouldn't be a problem if you would leave me alone," hissed Izanami. "Can't you understand your presence is excruciating? Imagine the one you love in the arms of somone you hate and then you might feel a miniscule inkling of how I feel all the time. You misuse what I would savour- you take it for granted. And here you are
flaunting it and I can't go back to my portal for another moon! Get
away."
Hasu says: "Ill move away some but I am
not leaving. I don't particularlly (sp?) hate anyone one at this moment so I cant really imagine that." He said backing up giving her room. "Your Portals are controlled by the moon?"
Em says: "No... uh... go away," Izanami was positively weeping now. "Oh please just go away..." There were terrible memories in her mind from her youth... starving... "Leave me alone!"
Hasu says: He sighed. "Fine.." he said, taking the steps towards her then nuzzling her cheek. "Ill leave you for now if that is what you want." He probably wouldn't leave the limits of the forest.
Em says: The way he moved her skin passed her lip under her teeth and a ruby dropped onto the soil. Izanami's pupils dilated to the farthest reaches of her irises. She grabbed Dacria compulsively around the neck.
Hasu says: "Ow." He mumbled. He didn't try to get her off though. He had a feeling moving wasn't really a good idea.
Em says: Izanami wimpered and she tried to release him but she couldn't bring herself to. "Please... ask me," she pleaded. "Ask me..."
Hasu says: He watched her for a second. "Izanami." he said. "Will you use my blood?"
Em says: That was all the encouragement Izanami needed to slip her fangs inside him. They barely hit a snag and only went in a centimetre. It didn't take long. Her eyes rolled back and for about 15 seconds that was all she could think about. Then she withdrew and slumped against him, breathing shallowly. "You are so yummy..."
Hasu say: He wrapped his arms around her to keep her from falling until she gained her balance again. "Well Ive never been told that before." he chuckled. "Feeling better now?"
Em says: Izanami nodded lethargically. "Are you ok?" she asked. "Some donors have a higher tolerance... and others just..." she turned her hooves over. She couldn't feel her fangs anymore- they had retracted.
Hasu says: "Im fine. I was just worried about you." he said giving her a small hug.
Em says: "I'm ok now," said Izanami. "I was just so hungry..." She rested her head on his shoulder. And hiccouphed.
Hasu says: He chuckled. "A vampire with the hiccups. Thats a new one. This has definately been an interesting ball."
Em says: Izanami grinned. "Definately. I haven't snacked on a demon before. New things," she smiled wickedly. "Want to go back inside?"
Hasu says: He nodded. "Alright. But I will not be held responsible for any spins and or dips that may occur if we dance again." he said grinning.
Em says: Izanami stood up and led him into the ball. "Looks like the ball is winding down..."
Hasu says: "Its been an interesting ball. I definately had fun. Met an Interesting Woman." he said grinning. "Whats your outlook on the last few nights?"
Em says: "I... well," said Izanami. "I learned how to dance. And I met you. Who did you meet?"
Hasy says: He kept grinning. "I met a Lady by the name of Izanami. Lovely lady she is too."
Em says: Izanami blinked. "But that's me? Oh, you're making fun," she said and she smiled. "I think that's nice of you."
Hasu says: "I speak only the truth though." he said smiling.
Em says: Izanami blushed and almost added something when Seto Kaiba glared at her from across the room and jerked his head. "It's over... must go. Goodnight, Darcia." She turned her tail and left with her family.
