 Jahazi had escaped from his family for the first time. His mother was out hunting and his siblings had been playing a game of hide and seek, and he had snuck off easily. He was wandering through the tall grass, a little afraid but mostly excited.
Jahazi had a problem with twitchiness. His tail was always moving, and he had a tick in his eye, which caused him to blink rapidly and 'wink' quite often. It happened more when he was nervous or excited, and he was very much so of both as he ventured further from the den.
Jahazi ended up at the watering hole his mother had shown him, and he glanced around quickly, making sure he didn't see his mom before he padded over to the liquid. He drank from it gladly, quenching his thirst. His dark eyes scanned the area as he lapped the water, and he wondered if there were any other families living near him and his siblings and mom.

Nanu had found her way around her watering hole. Through the path as always. She was happy.. She had just had played with her sisters and now she was ready to play in her watering hole. Then her ears flapped up.. Bigger than her face. A goofy smile crossed her paw as she saw the other creature. She didn't care what it was. She bounded off and giggled. Wagging her tail and making a weird noise signuating she was ready for play. She jumped in the shallow water and started to splash happily.
Her tail wagging every which way and a smile so golden..

Jahazi jumped back as the dog suddenly began splashing through the water. He blinked rapidly, unsure of what she was. He had never seen anything aside from his leopard mother and his leopon siblings, though he still had no idea he was a leopon. He was too young to label creatures as such, but he found himself fascinated with this splotchy creature.
"H-hello." He said with a smile, glad she seemed happy. At least she wasn't a threat. He knew his momma always cautioned him about being wary of strangers, and he always listened to his momma, though he was actually quite an adventurous boy.
"I'm Jahazi, what's your name?" He asked, stepping forward to get a better look at her, his eye twitching rapidly.

She was chipped and joy filled and once the fascinating creature talked. It was as though she had never heard a talking being, is how she acting. In awe she settled next to him. Smiling softly at him as she neared him..
Ah? He had the cutest name. She always fancied shorter names, not like the ones of her elders in her pride. She made a weird noise as though she were just as easily saying her name and a greeting.. But then she noticed.. that not many others read lips.. and her fox guardian [/guard] was left behind as she escaped the fox'es grasp~ of her 'turning' her in to a princess.
She looked down.. And as she did before to many others. She learned to write her name.
"N-A.N-U, nic met U." She put on the floor then she jumped to the side, giving him a playful splash as she pranced along in the water like a horse rather than a wild dog.

Jahazi smiled a half-grin, his eye twitching once again as she neared him. He wasn't sure what she was, but he knew she wasn't dangerous.
When she wrote symbols in the dirt he tilted his head to the side. He had no idea how to read, and he looked at her quizzically. He caught on quick though, figuring that perhaps she couldn't speak.
"Well, I'm not sure what that means... But it's nice to meet you! You wanna play a game?" He asked with another half smile, his tail flickering about behind him.

Looking at him, he couldn't read? Maybe it was just of her pride's writing.. She shrugged and nodded as he mentioned 'game'. Oh! How she loved playing games! Her body bounced along and then pranced as soon as she landed. Prancing around him and at the chance of his tail she pawed at it lightly and nipped as she could but missed and flopped on her face to the soft grass. Her butt flying up in the air as she rolled and let herself fall on her back..
Wagging her tail and giggling.Not knowing what top expect! She wanted so much to play and run around she couldnt contain her giggling!
