wow. that sounds like one of my moms friends daughter, Candis. she is always causing problems. but in the end it is all for attention, because once she is caught she stops. then things are calm again and she will find a new thing to stir up the house. ie, drugs, steal, skip school, ect
have you tried counseling? or a foster house? give her the option to foster care if she wants you gone. if your not leaving your husband. your husband needs to be in this too. he is her father. or! even better, find her real mom. maybe she would want to be with her instead?

Truth be told, the best thing to do in those situtation, because all she is doing is seeking out attention, is to ignore the bad behavior. Just completely, if she wants to get your attention, she needs to call you by name, not b***h, or whatever else she calls you. She needs to treat you nicely.
Also, try to say yer going out and doing something--like: "I'm going to go out to eat! Does anyone want to come?" And yer hubby could be like: "I sure do! Let's go! Does anyone else want to come?" And if she doesn't say anything, just go. Yer trying to prompt a response. It works with my 16 year old sister, who's a pain, maybe it'll work for yours.
And I'd recommend not slapping her. Obviously it doesn't have an effect, so why do it? The silent treatment is much more effective. ^^ Besides, she's not 16--she can't even drive. Refuse to take her places. Everything besides clothing, food, and shelter is a privledge. :] Make her work for it. Privacy is a privledge. Take down her bedroom door. 8D Drives 'em crazy!
Ps. This really doesn't work for older kids. When my dad got a new wife, she tried to boss me around. DUDE. I was ******** 17 and applying for college. Does she really think she has any grounds to tell me that I can't ******** eat a piece of jerky? D:< And thus, over jerky, we no longer talk anymore. I bought the ******** jerky, and she told that I couldn't eat it on a road trip. Well, guess what? We hadn't eaten anythin in over 12 hours. GUESS WHAT. I crawled into the back of the truck and got some ******** jerky. b***h. o.o; Thereby, my little rant of dumbdumb step mothers.
