 HP-22 The espeon huffed in the Battle Dome. The air seemed so still and seemed to hve the gross taste of dst... Krushz sighed and laid her head down between her paws. She hadn't had a battle in forever... She was probably rusty. She closed her eyes. Two wins, one lost. It wasn't a bad record so far. If she got another win, it'd jump to three wins. It would be fantastic. The thought echoed in her head and she stood up proudly. "Anyone wanna battle the amazing Krushz?! NO ONE CAN BEAT HER!" So, she was mostly joking. She scratched her head and laughed. She wasn't THAT amazing. She just sort of had a head start whe it came to the Battle Dome... She was in the lead whn it came to battling, right? Last time she checked. The proud espeon swished her tail about and looked around for her opponent.

Approaching the large dome was a face familiar to Krushz. He was also looking for a challenge, since the only battles he had been seeing recently were between him and his mate, or with his nidoking mentor. He had been hard at work with training recently, and was more than eager to test his moves out on a new partner.
He ran into the door, forcing it to screech open and allow him entry. With a grin, he strode in, trying his best to ignore the dust flying up his sensitive nose. After holding in a sneeze, Gash spotted his old friend, Krushz, across the room.
"Hey! Long time no see, Krushz!" he called out, wondering if she was here for the same reason he was.
((Sorry for taking a minute there. I kinda had to re-read the rules and stuff. >w<; It's been so long since I've battled anyone.))

She cocked back an eyebrow.
"Look who it is!" she exclaimed cheerfully, jumping to her feet. "Hey Gash! Wanna bttle? Assuming that's what you were here for, I'll assume yes. But if you battle me, I'm assuring you.. You're going down!" She cackled. "Anyway...so yeah! Let's battle!"
She leaned her body downward, attempting to be intimidating. "So.. How's Pebble been?" Casual talk with an old friend. What more could she iwsh for? She grinned, reminsicing on old times-when she first met him and Pebble, still kits. So playful, so naive. And he has grown so much now. Was he still his normal self? Prolly. Time DID change one a lot, but he and Pebble were too unique for that. Right?

"Yeah, that's why I'm here," Gash said, narrowing his eyes as he prepared for the fight. He tensed his paws against the ground and tried to stare Krushz down, despite her being larger than him. Being unevolved wasn't exactly the best thing for battles; it made him the little guy. But he was determined to prove that small and fluffy could put up a fight!
A snaggletoothed smile flashed on his otherwise snarled battle-face as he was asked about Pebble. "Eh, she's as fine as ever. I think her evolving has gone to her head, but it's hard to tell! She's always been ornery." He bristled his fur, decided to put off telling Krushz that he and Pebble had become mates. That sort of talk would be better for later, outside of the battle dome.

"Oh ho, she evolved? That's news!" The espeon giggled, flezxing her paws. She would seize the first move!
She dashed towards him, attempting a bite.

She chomped on thin air. Ouch! Bad start! She would improve during the battle though.

Gash had been prepared to dodge, but he quickly saw that he didn't need to. Almost quicker than he could think, he was running at Krushz, preparing to use the opening to attack her with a tackle.

Gash struck Krushz harder than he had even expected when his attack landed. He bounced backwards, his paws held steady as he braced himself for a counterattack and looked for obvious signs of damage.

Youch! Krushz blinked and shook her head to get away the pain from her mind.. "Good one!" she hummed out. She automatically attempted a swift attack.

Luckily, Krushz's swift attack missed the little purple Eevee. Gash, really into the fight, barked "Ya ain't seen nothing yet!" His tone was competitive, but still to the point that it sounded playful and not cruel. He rushed forward in a quick attack, hoping to land another hit like his last one.

In his hurry to attack, Gash tripped over his own feet. He yelped despite not being hurt, and cursed under his breath. Maybe he was getting too eager...

She had seen this one coming-afterall, he annouced it!
She jumped out of the way [even though he tripped], still close enough to attempt a bite attack. "Yeah, well I'm warmin' up!" she stuck out her tongue playfully before opening her mouth to indicate she was gonna bite him--or try to--again.

She felt something--whatever it was--and she bit down hard on it! She cried out a silent victory, holding herself back from doing a jig. "How you like those apples?!" She giggled.

Gash clenched his teeth as his eyes widened. Searing pain surged from the bite on his lower back, and he reacted instinctively with his own teeth. He lashed out in Krushz direction almost blindly, his eyes nearly shut from the shock of her first successful attack.
