(OOC, her cert says male, but Jayn is Female) She was still a little skittish around others, but was starting to over come that fear. She knew that not everyone was out there to harm her and there were others that she loved and she knew the felt the same. But she still wanted some more frends to share times with.
She walked around the mountain and came down to only find Realm HQ and wondered why there was a building there. She when down to invesigate, walking in and looking around did she relize who live here. Other Kitsus, she could smell trace of many different Kitsu had walked threw this doorway. She started to panic as most of the smells were of adults and she didn't really want to meet any of them. But got a hold of herself when no one came out to meet her. Now she curious to what the building held. Looking around she saw places to sleep, doors that she didn't want to open, but the best thing that she found was the kitchen and deside that she wanted a bite to eat and hope the others wouldn't mind.

As always Pearl was hiding beneath the table within Realm's HQ. She always wanted to be away from the others, though usually more so with strangers than friends. Especially since her little incident with that large, frightful Nightmare she wanted to be away from strangers more han ever. Things might be a little different if Darkside were near as she would feel more safe, but he wasn't, thus her hidden image from the world.
Her long long ears flickered at the sound of paw steps near the entrance. The sounds were soft and rather light. It couldn't be a Nightmare. Their claws pressing against the ground would give off a harder, more scrap-like sound. Still, it wasn't the one she was hoping for. If it was him, he wouldn't necessarily step on the ground, but more so show himself as a shadow. Plus his paw steps were heavier sounding.

Jayn desided that HQ wasn't all that bad as long as there weren't anyone here. She felt like a little kit when exploring every nook and cranny in the kitchen. She had stuggled to open the refrigerator as the one at home had a seperate pull handle for those that didn't have hands. When she did get it open and looked inside to find the things that she liked to eat. Finding some vegatables and then some fruit on the near by countertop, then thinking it would be nice to eat a the table. So hopping on her backlegs as she took her food to the table and a bowl.
Returning with a jug of fruit juice, ears moved around as she thougth she heard something in the room. Walking much more carefully as she looked around, but seeing no one around and the one spot that she didn't think to look was under the table. Geting up the courage to lift the table cloth up as her mind was running throught a lot of things that could be under there. Lifting it up and Jayn saw Pearl under ther and freaked out, droping the mug to the floor. "Meep!" Was all she could say as she was trying to find a place to hide and hid on the other side of a chair.

More than anything she was afraid the other would find her hidden place under the table. She was careful not to make too much noise. Her breaths were soft and controlled, her body curled up rather tightly against itself as to not reveal any part of her outside the table. It was hard containing herself in this manner, but it was a better option than dashing out from under the table and reveal herself entirely.
As soon as the other's head poked into her sactuary, like a frightened cat she turned tails and dashed as fast as she could behind the couch. Her fur puffed up while her tails remained low to the ground. The shards of her wings huggled close against her body as well. She was a skiddish one, and she didn't take to strangers too well either.

She wasn't all that hidden behide the chair she had chosen. Fur was at ends with fright with the image of the other in her mind, the other was something that she had never seen before in her life. So her brain did conclude that at least they werent a Nightmare. Breathing in and out to calm herself down if the other really wanted to harm her they would have been already be doing it. Thinking to what Hemi had said and she turned around to poke her head out from the chair to see if she could see the other. Doing this several times of bringing her head out and then it darting back behide the chair. Jayn couldn't see the other but now she could fully smell the other as well. Pokeing her head above the chair once more and one of her paws playing with her fur. "Hello, I'm Jayn," She studdered trying to be nice and frendly but still a little scared.

She was the furthest thing from a Nightmare. Her skiddish nature couldn't allow it. The lack of self confidence also contributes to that. Plus her image didn't exactly help either. With pinkish white fur and delicate skin she was almost as fragile as glass both inside and out. Honestly, if she were a Nightmare she'd be afraid of herself more than others most of the time. To think, a Nightmare afraid of itself? Imagine the odds.
The other seemed...ok so far. A bit skiddish as well. She introduced herself, so it'd be rude not to return the favor, right? If she was going to stay behind this couch constantly, what was her purpose of coming here? She couldn't expect to meet Darkside all the time, could she? He can't always be there. There were things he had to take care of. More important things.
I'm...Pearl. Nice to meet you... A soft and shy voice rang in Jayn's head. Aside from her breathing and the crackling of the fire behind her, she didn't make any other noises. The noise was all in Jayn's head.

She looked around when she 'heard' Pearl talk as she was confused on where is was comming from and it freaked her out for a second that the other was talking in her mind. In which Jayn did calm down enought that her own fur wasn't standing on end anymore and it also perked her curosity about Pearl. Jayn could never hurt anyone as she knew how it felt to be on the reseaving end of it. It was far more easier to be scared of everything than to be hurt once more.
Climbing onto the chair where Jayn's head was resting on the back of the chair and no hint of moveing off as she had seen that the other was just as skittish as she was. Thinking that two of them scared of each other and it was a little silly.
"It nice to meet you too, Pearl. You have a very soothing voice," She had said not really think but still thought it was nice to hear, like a chime on the house's porch.

The delicate one poked her head out slightly, and only very slightly. All four paws touched the ground as her croching body leaned forward. Despite her poor eye-sight, she wanted to "see" the other as best as she could manage. Her rabbit-like ears were fanned out in both directions in order to catch any sound waves wandering. What she lacked in sight she gained in her hearing and feeling. The voice rang clear within her ears.
She was still cautious in her approach of others; especially when it came to strangers. Thank you...You have a...nice voice too... Her answer just a hint louder than her previous one. Even though it was telepathic, she could still control (to an extent) the "volume" of her "voice".

Somewhat seeing that the other was defiantly not a nightmare, Jayn relaxed a lot more but still keeping to the chair as she wasn’t going to invade the other space if she didn’t want her to. It would be very rude to do so and she would just wait until the other wanted to. But Jayn’s head was now very visible as she was sitting up in the chair as well.
“Thanks. You very different to what I have seen, but beautiful!” she said as she thought that Pearl’s coloration reminded her of the waters reflection at sunset. “So what are you up to? I was just here getting something to eat when I ran into you,” she said waiting for the other to answer.

Pearl was the furthest thing from a Nightmare. She lacked the self-confidence and the courage to even act normally around strangers. Her personal space was one of the most important things to her. Whenever others pushed the boundaries, she would retreat. She wasn't the fighting type. Her body was too delicate for that anyway.
Thank you... If her fur weren't already full of pinks the light blush on her cheeks would be more obvious. She never thought highly of herself, nor could she really see what she looked like. The images she saw of herself were blurry and inaccurate as to her true appearence and beauty. Perhaps this partly contributed to her poor self-essteam.
I was just...Waiting for...someone to come...But we didn't plan on it...So I don't think...he'll show up... She shrugged at the thought. Her body curled against itself lightly as she dwelled on the thought. Whenever he was around she felt a lot more comfortable. Her dependency on him was still fairly large, but with his help she was breaking away from such a dependency.
What about...you? She questioned softly.

"Your welcome," she answered smiling. Jayn kept finding herself looking at Pearl as she was beautiful, but in her mind it was rude to keep on stareing, so she started to look around the room.
"Me?" Thinking for a bit before answering Pearl's question. "I'm just wandering around the place when I found this place. My daughter thought me exploring the world was much better than me be scared of others and only keeping to the house." She was still scared that she would meet the nightmare that almost killed her or the other kitsus that tormented her. "But in my explorings I have found beautiful places that I wouldn't find locking myself indoors." But sometimes when exploring she wishes that she was back home but when she does Jayn always finds something that keeps her going.

She was surprised to hear the Jayn had a daughter. No one really can judge a book by its cover after all. She didn't seem like the maternal type, then again Pearl knew by now appearences didn't always tell the whole story. Such as when she first met the people she knew she never expected them to behave in the manner they did at the time. People were unpredictable, strange creatures.
I understand...your feelings...I feel the same way too...most of the time...But I'm getting...better now.. She nodded lightly to herself with a smile. The outside...is a nice place...usually... Except when those who enjoyed harming another lingered about.

Jayn was very much a maternal type but didn't know it until she had to take care of eggs her human had brought home and she love all three of them very much. But she could sence that Pearl was also learning lots of new things from the people that she met. As there are never two people the same.
Swishing her tails back and forth as she was getting much confortable around Pearl as she could now sence that she is a very nice Kitsu, but couldn't feel it becasue of her fears. "Its good to look foward and not to look too much to the past. As everything has to move forward, sometime." As she got off of her chair and turned it around were Pearl could see her better and jumped back on and sat down. "Its always best to explore with other..." she said as she figgled with the chair cover with her paw nervous. "We both could go out and explore as its always better than alone, that is if you want,"

Pearl's eyesight was very poor, so when the other moved so quickly the blurriness only increased. This only caused her to be more nervous, as she wasn't too used to quick movements. Most everyone she knew accomidated her poor eyes. Last time someone moved so quickly she ended up badly injured. Granted, he was a Nightmare, but it mattered little in her mind.
I guess...so...You can...head out first...though... She would stay a fair distance from the other. It was best to keep distance with strangers, especially without a familiar face around to protect her or assure her.

"Ok I will, but where would you like to explore?" she asked as she headed for the door. But something inside of her told her to walk slowly and to not make the other nervous around her. But Jayn was just as nervous as she knew there will always be others that wanted to hurt. So she was going to be careful as not to get hurt as there wouldn't be anyone to save her.
Jayn thought as soon as a destnation was chosen, she would show Pearl her power and see if she could make Pearl laugh. As Jayn thougth it would would be a lovely to hear.
