The question of the thread is: In certain shows, who do you think you'd be? Not which role you want, but which character you relate to the most? We'll go through one show at a time.
First show: Rent. The characters are amazingly diverse, so there should be someone for everyone.
So who do you relate to the most in Rent?

Wow, in Rent, I related to a LOT of the characters, but at different times. Sometimes it was Roger because of his need to leave a lasting impression on the world, other times it was Maureen because of her drive to create noise in unnervingly quiet places and to buck the system.
Most of the time, though, it was Mark, simply because he seemed to be leading this double life of cheerfulness in public and depression in private. He looks for beauty in everything, even the mundane and the utterly heartbreaking and I can just plain identify with him and his struggles with himself.
Damn, I love Rent. You have to think these characters are based on real people.

In RENT, seriously, I still think I''d get Maureen. I''m not smexxy enough to play Mimi. I can play weirdo parts like Maureen pretty easily. So yeah, Maureen.

I don't really know Rent enough to try and figure out which character I am. So....  You Are Most Like Angel! You are a fun, caring person who is very in touch with their feminine side. XD Yeah, I always say I'm like Mark's Mom. Very clingy at times. ^_^; And I love her voice more than anything else.

Seeing as there aren't a whole lot of straight characters in Hairspray, I'd like to think that I'm most like Penny.

I'd like to think I'm like Tracie - I've got the Baltimore personality down (yes, I am from Baltimore), and I always try to think the best of people. ^_^ Plus the whole in-love-with-the-one-person-who-should-never-consider-you part XD

I think most of the characters are hetero, even if one of the characters is *played* by a man, I think she's still supposed to be a woman in the reality of Hairspray. Does that make sense? Anyway, I think I'm most like.....IQ. ^_~
