The stallion trotted through the woods, night fast fallen over the land. The silver moon, round and full, shone its delicate light over the land, washing the world in a silken light. Long shadows reached out, warring with the light and enveloping those within the woods embrace in night. A cool breeze rustled dead limbs and there was no protection of leaves or foliage this early in spring.

No, the land surrounding the ebony and green stallion was dead, and had been for many a month. Spring was fast on its way, but Chandar paid it no heed. The only thing the stallion thought of was himself, and what he needed to survive. The night was with him, perhaps his most favorite companion of all as it allowed him to be extra stealthy and for his ebony pelt to melt in to the world as one. Though he was electric green in appearance, that meant little through the night; it dulled surprisingly well and allowed for him to go mostly unseen.

The thief picked his way carefully through the underbrush, hooves settling down lightly upon dead and molding leaves. Stars sprinkled through the woods, a cold mist and fog flooding through the forests floor, giving it a haunting experience. Some might turn away, spooked by the thoughts of the dark of night and the evils it possessed; but Chandar had grown a long way since a colt. . . . he wasn't young, he wasn't frail, and the only light he possessed was the moons reflection in his gaze. No, something had hardened him, twisted his soul in to something from adventurer to . . . to something else.

Exactly what had changed, he didn't know, nor did he care. He was who he was, and that would change for no one. Nostrils flaring, the young male's tail swished back and forth behind him as he made note of his surroundings. . . and anyone who might be near the vicinity. He tended to avoid many soquili and much preferred the company of his dark thoughts and woods than to deal with the sweet hearts and souls that pranced in the plains.

. . . he was no kalona. But darkness brewed within his stagnant soul, and the light and good that he once was faught a hopeless battle. Blood had not yet crossed his lips, but fate knew it would only be a matter of time before he crossed a line and be lost forever.

Nights siren of darkness had only hours ago found herself a pleasurable victim as the pale, white mare curled her wings around her body. The crescent moon above seemed to shroud itself from the presence below in search of its own protection from such a creature! Though the mare did have wings it seemed that her ability to soar new heights even made the moon tremble. Locks of purest ebony with tainted crimson swayed slightly with the passing breeze, the wind caressing against her body which felt like the brush of the lips of the unseen invalids that were attempting to stay within the good graces of a twisted soul. Sullen, silver orbs narrowed off into the distance while the faint scent of blood seemed to linger within the air with a distinct and slightly pungent smell yet amongst its presence there was a fresh and new scent that had caused her attention to peak. Her nostrils widened slightly as her ears flicked- a grin tugging at the corner of her maw in a meager way as it seemed to hold a certain trace of insanity. But even the deepest insanity was capable of comprising and compiling the most strategic and cunning plans of obtaining what one desired most.

There was fresh blood about.

But one simply couldn't rush into a kill! Oh no! The blood and flesh of those who ran to escape from their prey seemed to become so tough and bitter. The meat of those who were taken by sudden surprise was oh so sweeter! It made the wait worth it at the end.

Sabriel curled her lions tail around her back. left leg. Though the spikes didn't quite deter her grip, the mare pursed her lips slightly as she watched the figure draw near. Even with nights darkness masking the figure so well, the mare was able to define the strangers body structure as one that was masculine- certainly masculine. She gasped slightly, only in realizing that a male was coming her way! And not just that it was a stallion- it was another individual to lure secretly into the depths of the unknown and a potential victim who would hear the sirens song. Her track record thus far was free from any losses and she had yet to not obtain what she wanted. Being a mare whose seducing techniques were at its prime, Sabriel managed to giggle softly to herself as a breeze whisped up around her mane.

The mare took a step outward, placing herself into view as her eyes glanced up and over towards the stallion for only a moment to position herself. It seemed as if that the stallion before her looked like the type who seemed distant from others, a bit loose with no social contact and a lack of trust in others. Well now, this certainly would be quite a catch! And a challenge? It made him all the more appealing. As the stallion neared, Sabriel slyly situated herself before him just in time for her body to bump into his and as the two impacted, she let out a slight 'oof' and stumbled back a step as a new role was begining to overtake her current persona.

"Oh- oh I'm so sorry, sir! Truly, I am!" The mare was quick, echoing with a slight nervous tone. Sabriel chuckled a bit sheepishly, smiling and backing up slightly to give the stallion room as well as to level her eyes with those of his. "I believe I've let my clumsy habits get the better of me- I do hope I haven't troubled you." She was starting out slow, gradually building up for whatever would be his next move. Though as she pursed her lips, the mare put on a serene and soft smile as she canted her head slightly, wings folding against her body.

It must be silly to point out that he was a new face within these lands but small talk was best and a sure way to coax even the most stubborn of males from out of their comfort zone. Sabriel remained standing in place, keeping a comfort level between the two of them as she continued to smile.

"What brings you to these parts? I don't believe I've seen you before."
