Antony looked over the place blankly, wondering just how in the HELL he got stuck in this position. It was the park, yes, and he had been doing his weekend workout, as his father still insisted upon, and in the middle of a spar Chris had been dumped on him with a gorgeously smiling Missy waving goodbye.
Now his old man was teaching Chris how to break bones efficiently... as if the kid NEEDED such a lesson!
"Oye! Antony!" Shade said, taking a break from the training. "Watch Chris for a bit, would you? I need to get something harder to break for him to learn on."
And he was gone, leaving Christian and Antony staring at each other blankly.

Ze'zee and Aurora were at the park as well. She had decided that it was a nice day and Rory needed to get out and enjoy the fresh air. While her daughter played, she would study a new score that she had received.
"Mama," a little voice that came with a tug of the hand got her attention. "Chris is over there! Can I go play with him?" she asked, having easily spotted her best friend and the blue boy he was with. She didn't really know Antony, but she had seen him around.
Ze remembered the little boy she had met when she had gotten a cabbage, and from some other doings at the Center. "Sure. Stay with them, though. I'll go and get something to eat, okay?"
"Okay, mama!" Rory grinned and took off for the two. Her running, however, was much faster than a normal child's and she reached the two in no time.
"Hi Chris! Mama's gone to get something to eat and told me to stay with you two," she informed them. Then looked to Antony with just a hint of shyness that was quickly vanishing. If you wanted to meet someone, you couldn't be shy. She then held out a hand to the older boy. "I'm Rory."

Irelia loved the park. She really did.
But she was very annoyed that her father had decided that she had begun to run a little wild, and was now holding her hand with an iron grip, walking at such a sedate pace that Irelia wanted to have a temper tantrum. It wasn't FAIR.
She hadn't even done anything wrong, she had just mentioned that she wanted to know where the Hell's Angels were from. It wasn't her fault that she hadn't known that they were "bad news" as her dad had proclaimed them. Besides, the fact that they liked to murder people and were involved in bad things wasn't a secret, so how could Irelia have known about them?
Asher had stopped to talk to one of their neighbors, walking his dog, and Irelia rolled her eyes, and ignored them. Boring, with a capital B.
Turning to look at the beautiful, green park that she was being punished in to enjoying attached to her father, she noticed Antony.
Antony.
Irelia seethed, but turned to her father with a happy expression on her face.
"Daddy, can i go play with Antony? Look, he's an adult and soooo responsible. I know you have lots of work to do and I want to stay at the park for awhile. Please?"
Asher was silent for awhile, but then nodded briefly. The last time the two of them were together turned out far better than he could of hoped, so he was pretty sure that he could be trusted. Though he wondered if he should ask the boy, now a teen if it was ok, but Antony always seemed so polite and compliant that he couldn't see him saying no. Asher gave Irelia his permission, and she skipped over to Antony with a spring in her step.
Ha. The princesses were going to be in for a surprise. She had Antony all to herself.
...Not that she wanted that, but it was fun to lord it over them.

"It's a pleasure to meet you," Antony said to Rory, bowing slightly. "I'm Antony." She looked vaguely familiar, but he wasn't placing her. She seemed to know Chris, though, and by the way Chris's gold eyes narrowed slightly on him, Chris knew her well, as well.
"We really don't need a babysitter," Christian said blandly. "So you can do whatever it is you do."
"I appreciate the thought," Antony said, only to catch sight of a very familiar girl heading their way and bite back a curse. Things just kept getting better, didn't they?"

Rory liked the little introduction that Antony gave her. She like it a lot, actually and smiled to him. Then Chris' declaration that they didn't need a babysitter and they way he 'dismissed' Antony caught her as a little odd. But Chris was just getting weird anyway.
Then came another girl, one with a head fully of pretty curls, and horns as well. Huh, she did look familiar.
Obviously, Rory had gone quiet with someone else approaching. Though she would find out who this other one is soon enough.

Irelia walked up to where Antony was, and realized that he had grown. And grown a lot. He towered over her now, and Irelia scowled as she noticed this. She was short and she was bitter.
But before Irelia could think of a retort, she saw the two others that were with Antony.
"Hey, I'm Irelia. Who are you?"
The girl was vaguely normal looking and the boy was...not. Intrigued by his appearance, Irelia bounced over to the two of them.
"You look soooo awesome."

Chris blinked at this. "Thank you," he said finally, his duel voices sounding a bit sheepish. He didn't know what else to say, actually. A few other of the kids had had this reaction, as well, which still confused the hell out of him.
Maybe it was because he wasn't full grown, he decided.
"Hello, Irelia, lovely day, thanks so much for mentioning it," Antony drawled. "Rory, this is Irelia, she's in your class at Liberty, I'm betting."

"Hi!" she greeted the other girl with a grin. "Chris is awesome looking, isn't he? But he doesn't believe that," she said, giving Chris a little berating look. He had this habit of thinking himself less than what he was.
But having someone else in her classes would be cool!

Irelia rolled her eyes.
"Oh right. Manners. As if we really need those, you old stick in the mud,"
Irelia looked between the two other kids her age, and her smile widened.
Secrets
Pushing the thought aside as quickly as it came, Irelia mentally shook her head. She did not want to outcast herself more than she had to by merely letting others know she could read secrets. She was rather lonely.
"I don't think we've met, though I'm sure my reputation has preceded me, if Antony has anything to do with it. What are you all doing here, anyway? I had to ditch my dad, he was driving me crazy. "Look at the flowers", "That cloud looks like a choochoo!" and "Don't kick stray children, not even if they really really deserve it.""

"I'm learning how to fight," Chris said.
"Which is hard, since Father is teaching him how to break things, but is having a hard time finding things harder for him to break," Antony said, secretly amused by this fact, obviously dry about it. "Chris is a walking cannonball."
"It's true," Chris admitted, sighing with the fact. "I tend to break a lot of things. And Rory is here while her mom gets something to eat. Right, Rory?"

"Yeah," Rory agreed with the explanation. Then decided it was rather vague. "Mama decided that we should get out of the house, since it was a nice day."
Then she thought about having heard something about Irelia and shook her head. "But I haven't heard anything about you, Irelia."

"We haven't been in any of the same classes, that's probably why. I'm been bumped up a bit, due to knowing too much,"
Irelia pouted.
"Its not very fun, everyone dislikes me for it."
Sighing, Irelia locked her gaze on Antony.
"Hey, i want to learn to break things too!"

Antony looked at her blankly for a moment. "Then you should probably learn how to operate heavy machinery, I think," he said honestly. "That's a well known way to break things."
"Unless you're like me," Chris said. "Then you just have to look at them wrong."
"Or you could learn to scream so high that it breaks glass," Antony added, looking thoughtful. "But breaking things is not very ladylike, I'm afraid."

Rory, who just started school and didn't see what the big problem was in knowing to many things, was just about to tell Irelia this when the topic changed to breaking things. She had never broken something on purpose.... But it oddly sounded fun.
"Chris, you don't break things by looking at them wrong!" she pointed out, though she had never witnessed Chris looking at anything wrong before, not it breaking because of that.
Then she looked to Antony. "But I think breaking things would be fun!" As long as it wasn't an accident. It never crossed her that she should be ladylike. Polite, yes, ladylike, no.

Irelia snorted.
"Just what about me makes you scream "lady"?" Irelia laughed, but her smile soured a tad. "I guess its the dress."
Irelia shrugged. She LIKED dresses. She LIKED breaking things. And Rory's agreement to the breaking of more things made her gleeful.
"I'll operate heavy machinery when i'm allowed to drive, and i don't think you want me to scream. I've heard it described as 'piercing' and then they pass out."
"Hmm, that would be a handy skill," Irelia said, referring to the 'breaking things by looking at them' conversation. Turning to Chris, Irelia asked,
"So... just what have you broken by brute strength alone?"
