Thin white paws wandered once more.
The female canine staggered along, barely aware of her surroundings.
Something about her dinner talking to her-- she thought?
The female shook her head, not remembering, and trotted along, almost gaily out of her mind.

The brown rabbit bolted along, watching the starving female rapidly, rising to his feet before moving again.
Asikiri's duty was to Mioyo, but that didn't stop him from worrying. The female needed to turn around, and soon.

It was the dull sound of paws on grass that broke Asikiri's musings, and he turned to see the God of Leadership watching behind him.
The pupiless eyes of the god watched the female chase a butterfly, and sighed, shaking his head.
"Still nothing?"
Asikiri shook his head.

Kasida laughed, chasing the bug before she bolted up the hill, and came face to face...
With a very large lion cub.
The female blinked, circling the male a bit, then pounced, giggling.
Was he a pony?
Primitus sighed, then pounced, pinning the female down. She squealed in alarm, but he didn't dare bare a claw. Simply... Frighten her. Satisfied once she calmed, he got off, and padded away.

Asikiri was alone with Kasida several minutes, the startled dog laying next to him again.
Several minutes passed, and Primitus soon returned, bringing the remains of a gazelle foal with him.

Primitus set the meal near her, slowly taking one bite before abandoning interest. Alpha dogs ate first-- and slowly, the female finally clicked. Slowly, she moved, then snapped, biting and pulling away with a chunk.
Slowly, the female ate, eyes trained on the male watching. Primitus smiled. It was a step on the road to recovery.

Kasida finally finished eating after a time, slowly circling to sleep.
Primitus sighed as she curled, then rose, pawing gently before turning and padding away. Asikiri bounded after, and the two left silently.

"Will she live?" Asikiri asked quietly. Primitus sighed.
"Hopefully." The godling admitted. "Hopefully, or Jareth will be most upset."

Asikiri's nose twitched several minutes as he thought, following Primitus as they walked, and finally, the rabbit sighed.
From now it was the dog's choice to recover, to heal. Eyes flashed back to the sleeping canine, and the rabbit bounded onward, concerned.
Primitus believed she would be safe, but, it was not his domain if she lived or died-- simply hope.
Still, hope was something they could give, and both moved back to the warren Asikiri lived in.

Kasida awoke some time later, rising slowly and sniffing for the strange lion, or the rabbit.
She caught nothing, however. No scent, no pawprints-- the wind had merrily chased it away.
Next to her, the only proof, was a partially eaten meal....
It would do for a breakfast, and the canine dove in.
