"Alright, men, gear up, and stand on the line!" Lieutenant Aen Huntman said, standing at attention in front of a bright white line on the concrete floor. 18 Men and women stood infront of his. In his opinion, they were the best soldiers in the UNSC, with the Spartan freaks gone. He ordered his soldiers to jump up and down. Anything that jingled, clanked or made any noise was facend, taped, or other wise fixed in place. "Alright, men, load onto the pelican." He motioned towards the dropship behind them, and they shuffled onto it.

23 minutes later, they arrived at the Covenant star ship. Aen unstrapped his MA5 from his back, and the pelican doors opened. "Johnson! Get up on that ridge. Wait for my signal. No friendly fire this time, ok?" He said. The question was rhetorical. He moved the rest of the Platoon into the valley. The Covenant hadn't set up any guards. "Beta and Delta Squads, move out, suround the complex" Aen said, and the two squads moved. "Johnson! now!" He said into his com set in his helmet. He waited for the crack of sniper fire. "Take out the Elites!"

"Roger that!" Aen said, as another six Hunters came down from the Covenant space ship. "Johnson! Six more walking tanks! Take 'em out!" He said. "Alright, men! Lets get ourselfs some kills! Time to die! Move! Move! MOVE!" Aen said to the other two squads, and his four men bahind mih. They rushed out. "Johnson, be advised, friedlies out in the killing field" Aen said, comming out of his hiding spot. He unloaded into an Elite, reloaded, and fired 25 rounds into a group of Grunts. "For the Fallen!" He shouted, and fired at a Hunter.

(I have to get off for the night)

"Or their Space ship" Aen said, looking at the dead Hunter infront of him. A Plasma Rifle shot hit him. It wasn't fully charged, but it did burn through his armor. He saw four other blue plasma shots go over him, and he fell. He got up into a crouch, his dropped Assault Rifle about a foot out of reach. He pulled out his M6 pistol, and unloaded into the nearest Elite. Another Elite came up behind him. It put its hand on Aen's shoulder, and the human could feel the heat comming off of its Energy Blade. The Marine rolled to the side, and aimed at the Zealot Elite. It yelled something and charged at Aen. The Human reloaded his M6 pistol, and fired three shots at it, two into its chest, and one to the head. It fell forward, dead. He turned, and saw yet another Elites head explode into a purple pulp. He saw the smoke trail of a sniper. He followed it. "Good work, Marine" He said, standing up. He grabbed his Assault Rifle, and mowwed down a squad of Grunts. He got behind some cover. "Alright, men, those Covenant bastards are having a picnic in that ship, and every s9ngle one of you is invited. I don't know about you, but I want a big Cheese Burger. Lets move!" He said. Most of his Marines cheered in approval, and charged to the Covenant Space Ship's Gravity Lift.

"I doubt they're leaving this ring in that ship. Scan the area. Look at all of the maintenance teams. Besides, we're boarding this ship from its Gravity Lift. We must rescue Cap'n Keyes. He's inside that ship." Aen replied. He ran forward. "Jonhson, get down here. Your comming in with us" He said. He lined up his Marines, minus Johnson. Three had died in this fight, with another six wouded, including himself.

"Alright, I'll head up first. Three of you are comming with me first." Aen said. He pointed to three of his Marines, one of them was Johnson. "Lets go!" He said, turning to face a blue beam that was comming from the Covenant ship. He stepped into the beam, and disappeared into the ship. Two of the three Marines stepped into the lift, and were pulled upwards, into the ship, thirty feet straight up.

Aen switched to his Shotgun. He looked around cautiously. "All clear!" He said into his COM set to the three squads waiting. The rest of the Hell Jumpers jumped into the lift, and appeared a second later. "Move out" He said, Shotgun raised as he headed through an Air Lock, into a storage bay. "No Covenant" One of the Marines in Delta Squad said. As he finished that sentence, a horde f the alien monsters poured into the storage bay. "'No Covenant'" Another Marine said. "You just had to open your mouth, didn't you."


Aen blasted a group of grunts with his Shotgun, and shot the diminutive aliens Elite leader. He loaded two shots into the chamber, and yet another single Hunter appeared. It rushed at Aen and amazing speeds for something that large. It tackled the smaller human. The Hunter's Fuel Rod Gun was inches away from the Lieutenants face. Aen's Shotgun was out of reach. He pulled out his side armed pistol. He unloaded into the Hunters eye hole. It let out a roar and fell back. Aen grabbed his Shotgun, wiped his face of the Hunters, and his own, blood. He got right back into fighting the rest of the Covenant. Just when he thought the Covenant's body count was running low, the Second Hunter appeared, and fired its overcharged Fuel Rod Gun at Aen. Aen rolled to the side, but still caught the blast of the Fuel Rod. He was sent another ten feet through the air. "El Tee!" One of the Marines of Beta Squad shouted. Suddenly, a Plasma Grenade stuck onto the Hunters exposed neck. It exploded five seconds later, and the Hunter's head was just a smoldering lump on its shoulders. The enormous body fell onto the deck with a loud thump. Aen shakily stood up.

The Lieutenant rubbed his arm. He looked to see a deep gash in it. H ignored the wound, and hefted his Shotgun. "Alright! Lets get this show on the road!" He shouted, blasting the face off of an incoming Elite that had an Energy Sword. "Lets move!" He ordered, marching through a corridor. "Kel, get me a lock on Keyes Neural Transponder." He said to the AI assigned to his Platoon. "Take a left down this corridor, and then a right into the hanger. Keep heading forward until you reach the prison." The AI said, ignoring the fact that the hanger would be filled to the brim with Covenant. The El-Tee took that left, and hesitated at the hanger bay doors. "Lets move!" He shouted into his COM. "Three feet apart! Don't want to explode, right?" He ordered to his Marines fileing down the corridor. "Sir, you don't really expect us to-"
"No, soldier, I don't expext you to go into that hanger, and face the Covenant, like a good soldier. I ECXPECT YOU TO FOLLOW ORDERS! And those orders are ordering you to go into that Hanger and kick some Covenant a**!" Aen replied, cutting the Marine off. Most of his Helljumpers shouted in response. They were crieing out for Covenant blood, determination, and hatred of the Xenophobic army that waited beyond these doors. The El-Tee shouldered through the door, and blasted his Shotgun. A thump was heared a split second later, followed by the shouts of Grunts. "Yeah!" He shouted, gunning down another Elite. He shifted, and mowwed down the Grunts with a hail of 6.17mm Shredder rounds.
