Ok guys, this is just an experiment, and I may write an article for it in my school magazine, so by posting you agree to let me use your words should I choose to do so. ^_^

It's time to bring up the subject of dating. Some of you are married I know, and some of you are engaged (like moi), but I'm sure we can all just return to the past for a little bit and answer this question.
When dating, do date older, younger, or your own age?
Please state the sex you prefer, the age you usually shoot for, and how old you are now (or were then).
Discussion is encouraged!

hmmm...for me I'd rather date those people younger than me....because I'm a bit childish in a way...and sometimes those older people think too much....I'm not against dating older people but...thats what I think....
I'm a guy and my current age is 18...okay....actually I don't date...seriously....

I date older guys, but I've had crushes on a few younger guys.. only by a year, but nevertheless younger. Oh, yes. I date men and aim for guys who are within 3 years older of my age, or 1 year younger. I'm 18 right now. I've had a crush on a 1 year younger guy when I was 17-18.

I normally "dated" girls my own age, since they were most likely to get to know me, either for school or other obligatory reasons. Tho by dating I mean talking to and getting to know, not going out with.

Well I date Guys.
I've never actually had a set age for my Boyfriends. I've always had the view of if I am attracted to them and I have fallen for them then so what?
I've dated a guy who was 2yrs younger then me and a guy that was like 8 days older then me.

At the moment I am 20 and I am dating a fella who is 29.
I am completely happy with him and therefore the 9yr age gap means nothing.

I used to date guys my own age, but that never worked out for me. I personally like older men. Just something about their experience that I like. Im 19, I'll be 20 on the 21st of May. My husband-to-be is actually 35, 15 years older then me. I personally dont see an age gap, I see how much he loves me and cares about me. Very few people (my own family included) have ever treated me as well as he has 3nodding

I admit that I usually like the person I'm dating to be at least slightly older than I am, but my current boyfriend is a year younger than me and I couldn't be happier. I think he's actually more mature than I am~ n__n;;

It really just depends on the person, I guess.
