The Tricks: Non-Elemental All pets can learn non-elemental tricks...provided, of course, that your pet meets the requirements!
Rage By utilizing one's own chakra to burst through the body, animals can command their adrenaline to kick into gear when they most need it. This burst of adrenaline helps the animal deal damage and further pump itself up with every attack. However, it does cause them to lose focus and become a little sloppy since they've turned so aggressive. Commanding the animals becomes harder. CP: 20 + 5 per holding post. Damage: Normal Fight + Chakra Mod + 1 per 10 ranks Trick Pet Requirements: Control 10, Trick 10 Avoid: Dodge / Fly / Slide Special: - Chakra Mod to Coordinate skill while Rage is in effect.
Companion Size Increase Pet and owner work together with chakra to increase the size of the pet - and causing more damage than when your pet is normal sized! This is a useful trick if you're a small animal, and need to pack a little extra punch! CP: 30 [Divided - 15 CP pet, 15 CP human] Damage: + Human and Animal Chakra Mod to damage Pet Requirements: Level 5, Control 20, Trick 20, Coordinate 20 Human Requirements: Level 5, Ninjutsu 20, Focus 20, Handle Animal 20
Call of the Beasts By sending out a call through whatever means your animal communicates; roar, squawk, or hiss, The animal can call others stop what they're doing and recognize the user as 'King of the Jungle'. This will also confuse or disorientate any other animals in the area that you are facing against. They will become intimidated and wary of you. CP: 80 Damage: Stop Fighting for one post. Requirements: Trick 50, Intimidate 50 Avoid: Sense Special: -Chakra Mod to all attacking checks towards user.

The Tricks: Earth To use Tricks: 1d20 + Trick To generate Damage: ?? to ?? + Chakra Mod + 1 per 10 ranks TrickQuake With this trick your pet can learn to channel its chakra into its feet and stomp the ground, hard! No worries - even slithery snakes can learn this one - they just use their tails instead. Using the channeled chakra, your pet can cause the earth to shake under the feet of the opponent, and cause them to lose balance. However, this also can cause damage to your partner. CP Cost: 30 + 10 per holding Damage: 25 to 30 + Chakra Mod + 1 per 10 ranks Trick Pet Requirements: Control 10, Trick 10 Avoid: Tumble, NO DODGE Half Damage: Balance Special: - Chakra Mod to target's agility skills while holding.
Burrow Using chakra, your pet can burrow underground and try to sneak up on an enemy, attacking from the ground up with a grapple or normal attack. It can't be used indoors or on rocky surfaces like mountains, etc. CP Cost: 50 Damage: + Sneak Attack Bonus Pet Requirements: Dig 30, Trick 30 Avoid: Dodge/Fly/Slide Training: 3 Days Special: + Sneak attack to attack roll if Trick roll succeeds.

The Tricks: Air Gust Your pet can attack a single opponent with this move. If your pet is already in the air, it can unleash a small, forceful burst of air that will damage the opponent, as well as shuffle around debris that may be around it, by flapping its wings faster than it normally would. CP Cost: 15 Damage: 7 to 12 + Chakra Mod Pet Requirements: Fly 10, Control 10, Trick 10, Flying Pet Human Requirements: Handle Animal 10, Endurance 15 Avoid: Dodge / Fly / Slide
Bullet Technique You and your pet work together in order to perform a high burst attack as your pet acting as a bullet. By working together, you take your pet in hand and prepare to launch him into the air toward the opponent in a straight line. Just before launching into the air, your pet lets out a giant burst of chakra, expelling a considerate amount to give him the launch that he needs. It takes a lot of winding up, strength and good wind chakra to attack precisely. CP Cost: 30 Damage: 10 to 20 + Chakra Mod + 1 per 10 ranks Trick Pet Requirements: Trick 20, Control 10, Coordination 20 Human Requirements: Handle Animal 20, Strength 20 Avoid: Dodge
Hurricane A much more powerful version of the simple Gust, with this trick your pet can attack more than one opponent on the ground; however, each opponent must be within five feet of the original target. CP Cost: 25 Damage: 18 - 25 + Chakra Mod Pet Requirements: Fly 30, Control 20, Trick 40 Human Requirements: Handle Animal 30, Endurance 25 Avoid: Dodge / Fly / Slide

The Tricks: Fire Firestorm With training, your pet's affinity for the element of fire can be worked with at a higher level. Using a special oil that can be kept within the mouth or even in the oils of your pet's fur, your pet can use its saliva and chakra to make a constant stream of flame that will cause the enemy to be burned severely. The attack often stirs out of control, and for that reason this technique requires a higher level of training than usual. CP Cost: 45 Damage: 39 - 45 + Chakra Mod Pet Requirements: Control 30, Trick 35 Human Requirements: Handle Animal 40 Avoid: Dodge / Fly / Slide
Molten Rock The animal digs its claws or scales deep into the ground, sending its chakra as far down as it can, breaking through the layers upon layers of rock until it hits a magma deposit. Once its chakra hits, the animal pushes up the magma to the earth's crust, sprouting like geyser's into the air, creating many lava geysers that cover quite a range and can not be normally dodged. Cp Cost: 200 Damage: 100 to 160 + Chakra Mod + 1 per 10 ranks Trick Requirements: Earth and Fire affinity, Trick 160, Control 100 Avoid: Ninjutsu

The Tricks: Water Squirt Must have a water source nearby. Your pet can take water into its mouth and spit it out in small bursts at the enemy, infusing it with chakra so that it causes damage and stays in neat little water-drop shapes. CP Cost: 15 + 5 per drop Damage: 10 to 15 + Chakra Mod Pet Requirements: Control 10, Trick 20 Special: 3 drops per roll. Avoid: Dodge / Fly / Slide
Typhoon Must have a water source nearby. Using a much larger amount of chakra, your pet can push its chakra outwards to force a massive amount of water upwards and then crash down on the enemy, causing mass amounts of damage. CP Cost: 100 Damage: 70 - 90 + Chakra Mod Pet Requirements: Control 40, Trick 100 Human Requirements: Handle Animal 50 Avoid: Dodge / Fly / Slide

The Tricks: Ice Ice Storm Must have source of water nearby. The user uses chakra to freeze droplets of water and shoot them in a hazy storm towards the enemy. The droplets pelt the enemy harshly, and sometimes cause bleeding from the small, stinging cuts they may cause.
CP Cost: 40 Damage: 25 + Chakra Mod + 1 per 10 ranks trick Pet Requirements: Chakra 15, Control 80, Trick 100 Avoid: Dodge / Slide / Fly
Blizzard Must have source of water/snow nearby. The user uses chakra to kick up a cloud of snowy slush and throw it at the enemy - like slushy snowballs! They are cold and tend to melt almost instantly, soaking the enemy.
CP Cost: 70 + 10 per slushball Damage: 50 + Chakra Mod + 1 per 10 ranks Trick Pet Requirements: Chakra 20, Control 100, Trick 150 Special: Two slushballs per roll Avoid: Dodge / Slide / Fly
20* Below Unlike other tricks, the user gathers a large amount of chakra within its body and manipulates it to cause the temperature around it to drop to subzero levels. All around the user will feel the chill of a harsh day in arctic temperatures. The cold chill causes severe frostbite and numbness, and hits home with enemy chakra.
CP Cost: 250 Damage: 90 - 105 + Chakra Mod + 1 per 10 ranks Control; - Chakra Mod to Enemy's CP Pet Requirements: Chakra 30, Control 300, Trick 350 Special: Pet is immobilized for three turns. Special II: Attacking penalty for the first attack made upon pet during those three posts. Recoil: Damage [x2] Avoid: Fortitude / Sprint

Communication How are you going to get through to your pet, and how will you know what they are trying to say? Easy! You'll roll a communication roll depending on who wants to say something, and then another roll to see their partner gets it!
If you want to say something to your pet, you'll have to roll:
1d20 + Focus
For your pet to understand, it'll have to roll:
1d20 + Sense
Now, if your pet is trying to tell you something, it has to roll:
1d20 + Focus
And you're going to have to figure it out by using:
1d20 + Handle Animal
Alright, so let's not go overboard - you don't have to do this EVERY time your pet wants to say something! Only when you are trying to learn with each other - like playing charades or something! Like normal training, you will have to train a certain amount of times, most often, 3/3. You can find the training exercise in the training post too, but here it is just in case you're feeling lazy [and I bet you are!].
Communicating With Pet 1d20 + Focus
Understanding Human Partner 1d20 + Sense DC: Focus Total Train: 3/3
Here, this would be the example - Maya wants Baki to find her favorite set of training wraps. She rolls a 5.
Maya 5 + Focus[5] = 10
To understand, Baki would have to beat the Focus DC of 10. He rolls a 7.
Baki 7 + Sense[5] = 12 DC: 10
Since he beat Maya's Focus total, he'll go find her favorite wraps. Otherwise, he's going to have to keep trying to understand his partner! And it works the same the other way around.
Communicating With Human 1d20 + Focus
Understanding Pet 1d20 + Handle Animal DC: Focus Total Train: 3/3
And that just about does it!

Teamwork So you've reached level 5 and want to use teamwork with your pet, huh? Well, good! Using teamwork is relatively simple, as long as you know what you want to do. In combat, combining your attack will make it stronger - but only if you and your pet are in 'sync', otherwise the attack will be wild and all over and pretty much useless, especially against a tough opponent! To use teamwork, you need two rolls each - a teamwork roll and an attack roll!
Your teamwork roll will use this formula:
For Human Partners 1d20 + Handle Animal + Endurance Mod
For Animal Partners 1d20 + Coordination + Charisma Mod
To get your teamwork total, add these two roll totals together.
Now, for the attack roll, these formulas will be used:
For Human Partners 1d20 + Taijutsu/Grapple/Ninjutsu**
For Animal Partners 1d20 + Fight!/Grapple/Control**
How will this look in battle? Let's check it out!
Maya and Baki are facing off against a tough opponent! Using a head-on attack, they try to take out the baddie!
Maya rolls a 4 and a 17 -
Maya: 4 + Handle Animal[10] + Endurance Mod[5] = 19 17 + Taijutsu[10] = 27
Baki rolls a 16 and a 9 -
Baki 16 + Coordination[7] + Charisma Mod[8] = 31 9 + Fight![12] = 21
Is the attack successful? If the teamwork total is HIGHER than the attack total, then yeah, it is! Let's see!
Teamwork --> 19 + 31 = 50 Attack --> 21 + 27 = 48
Whew! That was close, but yes, this time Maya and Baki landed a good hit! Now the baddie will have to dodge the attack total - his dodge DC is 48! If he fails to dodge, both Maya and Baki will generate damage towards their opponent!
But what if they had failed? Oh no! Let's say Baki rolled a 2 instead of 16! It would now be...
Maya: 4 + Handle Animal[10] + Endurance Mod[5] = 19 17 + Taijutsu[10] = 27
Baki rolls a 16 and a 9 -
Baki 2 + Coordination[7] + Charisma[8] = 17 9 + Fight![12] = 21
Now it would look more like this!
Teamwork --> 19 + 17 = 36 Attack --> 21 + 27 = 48
Egads! The attack fails, and now the baddie will have two chances to dodge, because the attacks will be treated as separate attacks! Now the dodge DCs are 21 and 27 for Maya and Baki, respectively.
Get it? Good, because now we're getting to the reason why Ninjutsu and Control have those pretty ** next to them! You can use the same rolls as above when ONLY ONE member of the team is using a trick or ninjutsu - when you want to combine a trick with a jutsu, you have to use this formula instead!
1d20 + Control + Int Mod
For humans, the rolls will be as follows: 1d20 + Control + Int Mod 1d20 + Ninjutsu/Genjutsu
For pets, it will be: 1d20 + Control + Int Mod 1d20 + Trick
Like before, the teamwork roll total MUST be higher than the attack total for the jutsu/trick combo to work - otherwise they are treated as separate attacks!
