One of my favorite animes of all time. Anybody have any thoughts on it? If anybody else understood it a little better than I, could you please explain the ending to me? I still like it, and watch it at least once a month. I usually watch it while I'm at work.

I thionk what appeals to me most is the mechs and the music. I like it overall, but I think if I pick a specific reason, then those would be it. I mean, I know all the episodes by heart, and cant get enough of it, but I just don't get the ending. Too confusing to me.

yeah the mechs were unique when compared to other mecha anime. how many times have you rewatched it? I mean it can't be that confusing dam I remember when I was young me and my homie had an argument about it. one of my old homie claimed to have known what the story meant while I complained how it didn't made sense

I've actually just finished the second season again, and I watch it when I'm at work, so I have more time to pay attention to the story line. Maybe I'm just not grasping it, but if I'm to understand it then that would make them all memories? Or genetically grown peoples? Or is it that there all on a stage, and merely portraying said characters? Honestly, I think I just kinda somehow missing it. Yeah, they are more unique, especially when compared to the endless Gundam series, where there all copies of one another, just a few tweaks and its a new Gundam! But it does sort of pull ya into the story if you sit and watch it.

Ah, ok, no problemo. I'm enjoy the anime allot. Much like how I like many other animes, this one has marked itself on my top ten, and it ranks in the top five of that list. Btw, do they have an actual manga for The Big O!? I'd love to get a hold of it if they do.
Out of curiosity, do you happen to have a favorite mech? Perhaps a favorite bad guy? Or even a favorite music piece from the show?
I think mine would be: Big Duo, Schwartzvald, and the music that plays when gets all heroic, I think it plays in the scene when Roger Smith is saving R. Dorothy from her big sister, when Beck had put her into the things head.
I also appologise for the multi-colors, I was testing the different ones.

I loved the anime.
My two fav mechas were Big O and Big Duo
Sorry, I was confused too. I think though that the entire city was put on reset because of Big Venus.

Bi O is the only anime with GIGANTIC FIGHTIG MECHS that I'll watch. :']
The ending wasn't confusing at all. It's implying that everything resets itself and history repeats over and over. The city keeps reliving the same events, yet will never know. :0
I thought it was cool.

Gekkou-Sama My dad and i used to watch it...i miss it...doesnt it still come on? I'm sorry to say this but there were only 40 episodes. You can go on the internet to find the episodes they didn't air. Plus, they have reruns on adult swim.
