The purple female was antsy, she had just witnessed something that she was sure to make the alpha very upset. Syri'ana just couldn't help but to let a smirk grow on her features at the very thought of what Raaj would do with the information. Not only would he be upset, he'd be furious and she'd be the one in good view. This only made her smirk wider, no of course she wasn't jealous of the attention that the winged female was getting from the alpha. But in her eyes, they had been getting too close for her comfort.
Not only had the winged female been conversing with an intruder, she had helped the intruder out and the intruder knew her name. Oh, this would just please Raaj and she couldn't help but flick her tail in anticipation as she raced towards the temple, eyes searching for Raaj.

The days had slowly melded together as Raajmuat was resting on the cliffs above the temple. There was something new in the air, something he couldn't quite pick up or decipher what it meant. The basilisk's serpentine tail flicked slightly as a breeze blew past him. It was just starting to warm up a bit, and he couldn't help but to send a small thanks to the deities for the warming weather. Sure, he had been in colder weather, but he favored the warm, hot weather above all else.
It was in that breeze that he had caught the strong scent of a clan member. Though, something didn't seem right as his paws were slowly picking up the vibrations coming his way. They were soft and faint, but hard and fast. The member was running in his direction, and he concluded, looking for him. With a sly grin slowly working his way up on his features as he called out to Syri'ana, 'Such haste you're running in, Dear Wildflower.' There was something about this female that he liked and hated at the same time.

Her name was called and broke Syri'ana from her reverie. Her green eyes twinkled brightly, as she nodded her head knowing full well that the alpha was too far away for him to hear it or see it, for that matter. But it mattered not to her, as she'd be up there soon enough. As she came closer towards the temple, she went off on the right side and slowly climbed up the path towards the ledge where Raaj was residing. His usual spot, she knew it by heart. She had been there previous times to take in his scent and to try and figure out what exactly attracted him to this place. No, she wasn't obsessed, she just wanted power. Power that had eluded her for most of her life and she could see that it was slowly slipping away to that winged female. Well, guess again, she had leverage now and she'd use it to its full potential.
As she climbed to the top and paused to take a breath, she couldn't help her body from shaking slightly. This news was just gnawing at her, just wanting to get out. And who was she to withhold it from the alpha. With a slight dip of her head in respect for the male, she spoke calmly with a slight edge in her voice, 'Basilisk, what are our customs involving an intruder on our lands?'

As Syri'ana made her way to him, Raajmuat couldn't help but to wonder what was making her so anxious. He could smell it from her scent, it was different than normal. As his eyes narrowed warily at her, he listened to her question, wondering if was a rhetorical question or not. Did she not listen to what she had been taught many moons ago? Or was there something deeper to her words that he was not picking up at the moment. He snarled, 'Don't waste my time with petty things, Wildflower.' Perhaps he could get her to leave him alone, he wanted his peace and she had interupted his time. 'If you have nothing important to say, then leave before I lose my temper.'

At the male's hostile words, the purple banthi just let them roll off her. Syri'ana couldn't be upset about his cruel words right now, not when she knew he'd be interested in what she had found out when she was wandering close to the borders. With a shrugh, she let her voice sound uninvited and that she wasn't interested in Raajmuat any longer. She knew that if she played her cards right, this could be a very important meeting. 'Oh, well I guess you wouldn't be interested in what I had caught your precious Raven doing then?' She sneered the word 'precious' slightly, hoping to snag the male's attention.
As her ears flicked forward, she took a look over the alpha before she turned around and had started to walk back the way she had came very, very slowly. Waiting for the moment he'd call for her so she could whip around and tell him everything.

While he tried to not seem so interested in what Syri'ana had to say, Raajmuat was curious. He would never admit it though as he gruffly turned his head towards the female. His eyes narrowed slightly as he spoke in a hard voice, 'Is that so? Well, then what do you have to tell me?' He hissed in annoyance, 'You better not be wasting my time, Wildflower as I have other things to do than to listen to your gossip.' Though, he was slightly worried...he knew that while Syri'ana liked to embellish some things, there were times where she did speak the truth. That, and she was a very determined worker, always doing what she was asked to do that he shouldn't really be complaining or harsh to the female, it was just that she had caught him at a bad time.

A wide grin slowly spread across her features as Syri'ana knew she had the alpha in her grasps now. She whipped around and walked calmly back towrds the male. She sat down before turning to look at him. 'Oh, you'll be quite pleased with this bit of news, My Dear Basilisk.' She so wanted a death wish, really.
She exhaled softly before she continued as calmly as she could. 'I was wandering the borders when I happened to spot an intruder on our lands. I was going to head over and see what the banthi was doing here, but before I could get to the intruder, Raven beat me to it. So instead, I decided to hide and see what she would do with this intruder,' She paused to let the alpha absorb all the information she was telling him before she continued, 'But, I was shocked to see her act so friendly towards this intruder. They seemed like they knew each other.' They knew each other, she could see it in the way that the intruder acted around the winged female. It just made everything seem so wrong. With her eyes narrowed a bit, 'Are you sure you know Raven as well as you think you do? She could be a spy, as she was pretty cosy with this intruder on your lands. They even knew each other's names!' She said the last part like it was a scandal.

Just as he was about to make a spitting comment about the pet name that Syri'ana had called him, Raajmuat was taken back by what she was saying. She was implying that Tethra was a traitor, but he had spent so much time with the female that he could not even begin to imagine that. Now, it would have made more sense to the basilisk that Syri'ana would be spying on him, not Tethra. He just shook his head, 'Are you so certain of your words, Wildflower?' He hissed in annoyance, 'Perhaps Raven was just tricking the invader to get the invader out of our lands. Did you think of that? Or did you just jump to conclusions about Raven because you are jealous of her?' He snarled the last part angrily, there was really no need for Syri'ana to act this way. It was like he was some prize to win and it just made his dislike of females start to bubble forth.

The alpha's words stung slightly, Syri'ana wasn't jealous of Tethra! She just didn't think that the winged female was suitable for Raajmuat, he could find a much more suitable female. As her eyes were narrowed angrily, she couldn't believe that he didn't believe her. She just shook her head before replying, 'Of course I wasn't just jumping to conclusions!' She snapped. 'If you don't believe me, then how do I know that her name is Tethra and the intruder's name is Tokala. And that they knew each other from Tethra's other clan? Hm?' She threw the words at the male with a triumph look on her face. She was pleased with herself.

Before he could say any more cutting remarks, all of Raajmuat's words were caught in his throat as his eyes widen in shock. How did she know Tethra's name? No one knows Tethra's name except for Talakin and himself. And at that time, there were no other members to overhear their conversations. There was no other logical explanation then to think that Syri'ana might be telling the truth. His words came out short and clipped, 'Where did you hear that!' Anger started to swell inside of him before he stood up and let his tail thrash wildly behind him. It was custom for them to not give up their real name to outsiders, and to hear of Tethra conversing with another of the Feral Clan just made his blood boil.
He started to walk towards Syri'ana, he had something he needed to do now. With each step, he was resonating his anger as he turned back towards Syri'ana, 'This cannot be! How could she!' He snarled angry before he headed off, but not before he called back to Syri'ana, 'Don't follow me. I have something I need to do.'

Well, her plan had succeeded, at least in her eyes. Syri'ana couldn't help but feel proud of herself. Apparently she was right, Raajmuat was definitly affected by this bit of news. She could tell that he was upset...no, he was livid! A smirk slowly grew upon her features as she wandered a bit of the ways after him, before parting him from her sight and heading back towards the temple. She couldn't help but to call out pleasantly, 'Oh, Dear Basilisk, please be kind to Raven. She cannot help but to obey all of the rules.' She sniggered before the entrance of the temple took her in and she went inside.
