Well, they can hear enough to have favorite sounds in the second trimester, so it's no surprise that they can feel early on.
I think you mean different months though....
I've seen credible places dating it back to 12 weeks, credible meaning not a prolife or prochoice agenda-driven source. I don't think others are necessarily false, just, can't use that source without getting shouted down with "Biased! Biased! Results were fabricated!" and all that.
It comes down to the deciding factor for many people. It sets it apart from a clump of cells and a feeling human child, whether or not it can feel pain. If it can feel pain, well, it's not just a random clump of cells, is it?

And not if you use college texts written by liberals. Or documentaries from national geographic, like in the womb. Or Psychology today. You know, scientific articles that they use all the time . xd
