The earth was warming, the snow had all but vanished letting loose a stream of green. Standing amongst the green, Wica was graving most contentedly, though her long mane pilled beside her head and only moved when she stepped forward or raised her head. If one were just looking at her for the first time they might have thought she was part of the earth itself with cloud like hair. Shaking her head, her wings stretching at her sides, Wica lifted her head from the ground and looked around the clearing she had been staying in since the night she had fallen asleep beside Axel.
She was surprised that he had remained with her that night, for the time she had been remaining within the clearing, it seemed safer then out in the open grazing lands with all the other soquili. But she was always wary of the dangers that could be brought into the clearing, one thing, wolves. She hated them... Shaking her head again, Wica let her wings moved pretty much on their own before folding again and she stepped away from the green patch.
Oh it was a great day, with the sun and the warmth finally here, she felt like winter had never been there at all. Now what was she to do today? Further more... Where had Axel gone? Looking around, she hadn't really notice that he was gone... Now she had to go looking for hims again, but then again, she could always treat it as a game of 'hide and seek.'

After they had parted that morning, Axel hadn't seen her in a few days. He needed some time to think. He basically had committed himself to her that night whether he wanted to or not. He wasn't going to back out on her now after what he had said. He dearly wanted to, not to hurt her, but to save her heart and soul. Who knows what kind of influence he could be on such a pure soul like Wica.
The stallion stood outside of the familiar teepee and looked almost impatient as he was waiting for Chitsa. He had told Wica that he would have Wica meet Chitsa since she was the closest thing he had to family. He wasn't sure if they would get along but he knew that Chitsa would like Wica no matter what. Chitsa didn't judge and she got along with just about everybody. She might have scared a few of them off because of her random personality.
"Come on Chitsa! I don't know where she is so it might take us awhile to find her."
Slowly emerging from the teepee, Chitsa yawned tiredly. Usually she was a morning soquili but ever since she got pregnant again, she didn't know how she was still moving. She felt so tired all the time but that only made her more excited about her new babies. "I'm coming. Goodness, take it easy Axel, pregnant soquili here." She giggled musically and stood next to Axel. She was so petite compared to him even when she was pregnant. It was a wonder how she could carry any foals.
"So, where to?" Chitsa was excited to meet the mare that Axel had told her about. To think that he actually found someone that he could care for and that cared about him. He had definitely changed from when she had first met him so long ago.
Axel had forgotten that she was pregnant. "Sorry Chitsa. I forgot about that." Pregnancy was an enigma to him. He just didn't understand how such a little soquili like Chitsa could carrying probably more then one foal inside of her. "Let's go to where I last saw her. She might be there." Axel lead the way as the pair walked through the forest back to where Axel and Wica had spent the night together. He yearned to see her, to make sure that she was in one piece.
Finally reaching the area, Axel's eyes scanned the clearing for the familiar mare. When his eyes reached her and she looked like she was in one piece, his mind relaxed slightly. The two entered the clearing and approached her.

Wica hadn't really moved that much away from the clearing before the sounds of hooves reached her dark ears. Raising her head up proudly her liquid gold eyes searched the shadows for whatever or whom ever the hooves belonged to. She could tell that there were at least two approaching, swinging her head back and off to the side a little she noticed Axel's hair before anything else. It was one key factor to Axel she loved, The brightness of the color of his hair and the glassy green of his eyes. It didn't matter what he looked like, really, she loved him for who he was as a whole.
"Oh, there you are." Wica grinned and prancing her way over toward him, not yet noticing the mare that accompanied him. "I missed you, you know." She teased nipping at his spiky mane foalishly.
She stopped when she noticed that Axel wasn't alone, but accompanied by a slightly 'smaller' mare. Tilting her head to the side, Wica had never seen a small mare like her with... Wings? Well she had seen wings somewhat similar on an old foal friend whom she couldn't exactly remember now... But she was curious as to why this mare looked... Fat? Well maybe not THAT exact term would be used out loud... Still Wica's foalish curiosity had been lit and now wanted to know everything.
"Oh, Hello." She said still eying the small mare, "Who a friend of Axel's?" Her head tilting to the side a little, ears pressing themselves forward o listen.

Axel smiled slightly as they came closer, he couldn't help but think about how pretty she looked as the light hit her. "Hello Wica." He wasn't sure how he should return his affection but he nodded at Chitsa. "Chitsa, this is Wica. And Wica, this is Chitsa, the soquili that took me in when I first came to this land and is probably the closest thing I have to family." He watched the two of them carefully hoping that they would like each other. It would be bad if Wica didn't like Chitsa but it wouldn't be the end of the world.
Grinning happily, Chitsa was thrilled to finally meet the mare that had caught Axel's eye. "What he said. It's quite the pleasure to meet you Wica." She noticed that Wica had been glancing at her belly. It was a strange sight though and she expected it. She casually added, "I'm almost ready to have my foals. I'm really not this large all the time." The little flutter giggled wildly as she thought about her foals. She was so excited for them and spring brought such nice things. "So, how are you today Wica?" The little mare smiled once more wanting to get to know Wica better. Though, regardless of what she was like, Chitsa would like her as long as Axel did. All of those that resided in her teepee that were younger then her were considered her children and family. She cared about all of them so much.

Head tilting to the side, letting her long mane wave just a bit before she recomposed himself before the older, yet smaller, mare. Wondering what she had meant about ready to have foals? That was a concept she couldn't quite understand, but then again she didn't quite know if she wanted to know... Giving a smile she nodded her head in a silent greeting as her mine mulled over what was being said.
"A pleasure to meet Chitsa." Wica smiled as she remained near Axel. "I'm doing alright this fine day. How are you two doing?" She asked looking from one to the other.
In the back of her mind, Wica wondered what it was like to be expecting, then again she also didn't want to know. It looked painful and very uncomfortable, Wica was never a fan of pain or being uncomfortable. Shaking it from her head, Wica stepped over the stand beside Axel, thinking what a picture the made a brown and color splashed mare standing beside a handsome stallion whom wore a coat as if he were afraid to get cold. The thought made her giggle inwardly, but this meeting of someone that Axel considered family was a grand surprise and an answer as to why he had vanished for a few days.
"Oh, A little birdy told me that my Grandmother on my father's side of the family was expecting little ones as well. My brother seems to be proud to have other siblings around besides his only current sister." Wica exclaimed most joyously.

Axel continued to watch the two carefully. Wica seemed to be taking Chitsa alright... And Chitsa seemed to have calmed down a little bit. "I'm doing fine. How are you? What did you do while I was gone?" He was very curious to know what Wica did when he wasn't there. Tilting his head slightly, "Oh really? Seems like a lot of soquili are expecting too."
Giggling happily, Chitsa watched as the two conversed. She didn't want to intrude on anything but she wanted to get to know Wica more. The other mare seemed almost wary of her. "Oh congratulations Wica!" The little mare absolutely loved foals, that's probably why her 'family' was so big and why she wanted to have children again. Chitsa knew she wasn't exactly being herself because of the weight that was carrying her down. She really had a much more lively personality but it was being stifled by her pregnancy. Even though, she was still happy and cheerful as anybody as. "So you're family's going to get bigger too? I really love foals, it's so much fun to watch them grow and mature." The little flutter grinned happily as she spoke as she thought about her own children.

Wica nudged Axel a bit as he seemed to just wanting to be the background or something. But she wasn't going to let him back out that easily. Though watching the tiny mare for a few moments, she tried to remember whom this mare reminded her of, she was sure that she had met another with similar wings type, but whom...
"Oh I'm doing alright." She said finally looking back at Axel, "I haven't really done much. Chased a few wolves you know the norm." Though chasing wolves wasn't norm, nor was it try. "Kidding, not much has happened since you left, only the news of my growing family."
"OH, thank you." Wica beamed down toward the Chitsa, "I'll be happy to have more around, even if they are of my father's siblings. Oh, my full name is Wicapi Wakan, my father gave it to me, he said it meant something like Holy Star. Or something like that." Having closed an eye in thought, Wica looked toward the sky with the other. "Though I've never really seen a foal before, not since I was little anyways. Back then there were many, I once met one who had wings kinda like yours. Though I can't remember her name." At this Wica gave a shrug. "I'm sure all foals will come out like cuties, though my father thinks that there's always one in a brood that will cause trouble."
Smiling slightly she shook her head not really know whom out of her self and her brother were the trouble maker. They both seemed to both get themselves into a lot of messes at a young age, that was for sure. Stretching her wings out slightly, Wica had to wonder how one could fly with butterfly wings instead of wings like her own, then again, she wasn't about to ask, she was happy with wondering. Maybe someday she could find out.
