My dad just picked up the game for me. Here is what the back of the game says.
Girls Want Farming Fun Too!
Has Forget-Me-Not Valley lost its magic? You're a late-blooming farmer, but the Harvest King doesn't have patience for girls who play all day! that's why he weeded out the Harvest Goddess and the Harvest Sprites, leaving you out standing in your fields. Break his spell by sowing seeds and finding the Harcest Sprites. You'll need to master planting fields and tending livestock. Perhaps a handsome bachelor will help you before a mysterious thief steals your heart!
arrow Raise Cows, Sheep, Chickens and Ducks!
arrow Change clothes and decorate the interior of your house!
arrow Court and marry local guys or incite over favorites from Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town!
I really hope that they meant HM: More Friends of Mineral Town since that is the game that I have and that would make more sense. I guess I will find out soon enough. *Rips the plastic off of the game*

Well, thankfully, if you have either FoMT or MFoMT you can marry the bachelors from those games. That makes a total of 11 potential husbands that you can choose from in the game!

xD Yay. I got it today too. The controls are a little weird and I have yet to find Skye just walking around at night but it's pretty cool.

The #1 downside of the game is that if you have multiples of 1 item and try to give one to somebody, you end up giving me all of it. Like if you have 99 toy flowers and give someone one, you give them all 99.

Really? I thought that too when I had two necklaces and went to give one to Skye and I thought both had disappeared but later I checked my rucksack and the other one was still there.

I caved and bought the game a few days ago. Has anyone experienced any glitches? Mine has frozen once so far, though it's been fine ever since.

That One Black Chick Really? When ever I do something like that, they are gone and never to be found. hmm. Hey, I think I figured out a way to give them just one item. I haven't completely figured it out yet so I'll have to experiment some more. If you have a multiple of something, make sure you have an empty space in your inventory (preferably one in the rows above or to the left of the group of items you're separating) then continuously tap on the group of items. (This may take quite a few taps or only two. It can be a little tricky) If you tap it enough, this should cause a single one of the items to leave the group and go to an empty space. Now you can give them that single item and save the rest for yourself. ^^

I figured out what you have to do. You have to tap on the group on items with out dragging it AT ALL and then you can put it in your hands or another square.

Actually, just watch how it highlights. If it's just a thin line, you'll grab just one. If it's a thick box and the whole thing is highlighted, you'll grab the stack. Tapping the stack when it's already thinly highlighted will put 1 piece in the next empty slot of your rucksack. 3nodding

I'm gonna wait until the price goes down.
I saw it at a local book and video game store and it was like $30 so I just bought 3 mangas instead.
For now, I'll kill time by trying to beat Rune Factory. xD

I want to get this game, and rune factory so badly. I have a job interview today, and if I get the job *crosses fingers* those two games are going to be the first things I buy.

The bad thing is that if you marry one of the MFoMT guys the game will end.
Or maybe that's only on HM: DS.

With DS Cute you can marry those guys and the game will continue.

Yeah, I got the game at a used game store. Does anybody know how you get the 100 000 whatever the currency is called that starts with b or d to buy the translator thing on the shopping network? It's driving me up the wall!!
And to meet Skye, I met him sometime around 11 pm on a sunny day at Romani's Mansion/Villa.
