Has anyone tried those gel rest things advertised in Shar and various other string catalogues? I've been interested somewhat, and I am wondering what they feel like. Apparently they come in a bunch of colors now, too.

I've heard of them, but have not tried one.
I've got this really stupid hickey-look-alike mark on the left side of my neck, just under my jaw bone and it's from my chin rest.
I'm thinking I may go look into those gel rests . . . stare
