hitting the super high C can be a drag, it took me a while to be able to hit it, but after trying to hit so many times, i finally did it and i feel proud of myself

Highest I've ever hit is the third A above the staff... I was messing around with various fingerings and kept moving up from C. Working out of the Baermann book, I always use the double high C for arpeggios. As far as weird notes go... I couldn't hit F above the staff for a while.. it turned out to be a reed, embouchure issue.

faryuu I can hit 3rd register G, which I believe is the highest note on the clarinet. well i'm talking about the 2nd C above the staff, which is the highest note that the clarinet can go up to..... its fingered thumb and register key, first finger on left hand, first finger on right hand, and the G# side key and Eb right hand pinky key. (the G# side key and Eb right hand pinky key are optional, but i think that it works better with them) i got this fingering from the book that i use which is called Foundations for Superior Performence biggrin

I messed around and kept going up chromatically until I was only going up by quarter steps, lol. The fingerings are usually different based on the horn, setup and player. Get a great teacher and write down any fingering he gives you... better than any book in my opinion.

The highest note I can play is the second G above the staff. It has four ledger lines. Sounds like a squeak, but it's a note. I got it while trying out for the concert band. It was really cool. I didn't even know. xD

I cannot play that super high E , F, F#/G Flat or G! They go SOOOO far above the staff and their fingerings are so odd. It's brutal. crying
