With the sun high in the sky, small white clouds slowly moved across the sky. Turquoise eyes gazed up at their fluffy figures as Zarin was listening to the relaxing sound of the waves rolling up and down the beach. Siya couldn't be too far off today, they had spent a good deal of time looking for a den, and it was now that he realized just how much he was starting to feel at home here. Something attracted him here, something other than Siya, and it made him feel all warm inside.

A smile flittered across his features quickly before his shifted his gaze from the sky towards the shore in which he was sitting on.

The sun glistened off her soft, silvery fur as she bounced out fromt he dens int o the sunlight. Her soft blue eyes caught the seas shimmer and reflected it. It didn't take her long to spot Zarin and with a giggle she bounced up the beach to takle the bigger male her paws wrapping aoreund his silky maned head.

Her teeth found one of his ears and she pulled playfully her chest echoeing with a puurr. "Zarin!" She whispers dropping to his side and snuggling close in to his mane.

Not far from where the pair of young adults were playing around, a pale lion of around the same age walked swiftly along the beach. He had caught a familiar scent, and was now determined to track it down.

"Zarin's around here somewhere father, I just know it!" Tulivu grinned as he looked breifly over his shoulder, to see if his father was keeping up. It was unlike the young adult to get so excited about anything, but then, he hadn't seen his brother in a very long time.

"You just keep going Tulivu, don't worry about me falling behind." Going at a somewhat slower pace was Tumai. His thick ginger mane bobbed gently as he trotted along, his nose also full of the unmistakable scent. He couldn't wait to see his son Zarin after all this time, he just wished that he didn't have to be the bearer of bad news. After all, the last thing his son would most likely want to hear is that his mother and father had split up.

With the sudden intrusion to his thoughts, Zarin knew it could only be one lioness. Siya! He was pleasantly surprised as she nipped his ear before snuggling close. A soft chuckle escaped from the male before he nuzzled her softly, "What an entrance, Siya!" His turquoise eyes gazed down at the silvery lioness with a gentle smile. His day was starting to look better already.

Though unbeknownst to him, the pair would get a surprise meeting. Zarin would definitely be surprised and happy to see his father and brother again, since it's been quite a while. With a smile, he remembered that he had found some shells that he wanted to give to Siya.

Siyasura's small furry ears flickered as she heard a not unusual sound upont he sands. She had lived here her whole life and changes int he sand, the movements and the sounds that it made always told ehr when someone was approaching. It was somehtign about living ont he beach that had given her this almost intencely sharp hearing.

Watery blue eyes peered up the beach until the two figures flickered in to her view and she smiled. "Strangies!" She puurrs shifting slightly though she did not move from Zarins side her slender healthy body pressed tightly against his.

Tulivu continued to move quickly until his turquoise eyes finally fell on the familiar ginger fur and tan mane of his brother Zarin. He was basically a reverse version of his father, making him quite unmistakable.

Not paying any mind to the lioness beside him, Tulivu broke into a run, occasionally jumping up in an effort to catch Zarin's attention, since he was still a fair distance away. "Zarin! Hey Zarin!"

Tumai shook his head and chuckled as he saw Tulivu running off, assuming that he had found his brother. The aging lion was still rather fit for his age, so he was able to break into a gentle jog himself. It wasn't long before Zarin soon reached his eyes as well. He smiled happily and breathed a small sigh of relief. The coast was a big place, so he was pleased that he and Tulivu had been able to find him.

With Siya next to him, Zarin wouldn't have noticed the strangers until they had gotten quite close. He still wasn't as adapt as to seeing the changes as quickly as Siya, but over time he was sure that he would. Turquoise eyes shifted their gaze to where she spoke of as he nodded, "It seems that you are right, I do see someone off in the--"

His voice cut out in surprise as he slowly stood up to the sound of his name. Why did that voice sound very familar? It took him another second to realize that it was his family! A wide smile slowly broke out across his features as he turned to look back to Siya, "It's my family, Siya!" His tail flicked slightly as he could make out his brother and father heading his way. It couldn't be hard to miss the similarities between Zarin and his father, as they look almost identical in color. He called out, "Tulivu! Dad!" He didn't think he'd be seeing his family any time soon.

Siyasura tilted her head gently, she rose to her paws as Zarin did and giggled lightly, her lasughter always jolly and pleased. As it was she was always happy to see new people.

When Zarin said they were his family she looked almost surprised, as if she had never considered the fact that Zarin may have a family. "Really?" She puurred her ears perking as the pale whom looked decidedly like Zarin called her friends name.

When Tulivu had almost reached his brother, he slowed down in order to greet him. Grinning, he gave Zarin a playful nuzzle on the shoulder, before stepping back to take a look at him. "It's been so long." He said finally, still grinning. "At least you're not bigger than me." The brothers were around the same size, which pleased Tulivu because he had always been rather small as a cub.

After greeting his brother happily, the tan male turned and waited for their father to reach them. "Hurry up Father!"

Tumai rolled his eyes at Tulivu's request for him to hurry up. He had never seen his usually relaxed son so excited, but then, he couldn't blame him. It really had been a long time since they had seen Zarin, since he was one of the first to leave.

When he reached his sons, Tumai moved towards Zarin and nuzzled him with affection. Unlike Tulivu, the aging male noticed the grey female who was stood at Zarin's side. He nodded and smiled at her, acknowledging her pressence before turning back to Zarin. "How have you been?"

At Siya's question, Zarin couldn't help but to smile as he nodded to her. She almost sounded surprised at his statement, but then again, he was too since he never expected to see his father and brother here. "Yes."

Once his brother reached him, Zarin went to paw at his brother affectionately before his turquoise eyes looked him over. They were just about the same size, not much on the tall side but that had never bothered Zarin in the first place. "It has!" He replied before he gave his brother a lop-sided grin at the remark, "At least you're not smaller than me."

Though, his gaze shifted towards his father as he felt his heart swell with happiness. He always admired his parents and loved them, it had been hard to leave his family to go his separate way but deep down, he was proud of who he came from. As his father nuzzled him, he returned the gesture with just as much affection. "I have been good, Dad. It's such a surprise to see you both here!" He paused to let his eyes shift towards Siya, who stood next to him. "This is Siya. Siya, this is my brother Tulivu and my father, Tumai." He introduced them to the silver lioness.

Siyasura smiled constantly, her eyes flickering between Zarin's father and his brother. They did look alike. She had of course already accepted this as truth it was just sometimes hard for her to grasp that others had parents as she did. Her own mother and father were, in her eyes, something special, something important and belonging only to her. Of course, Zarin had to have parents, everyone had parents right?

She shook away these odd thoughts and turned her gaze to zarin then to the older male whom greeted her. She suddenly felt shy, which was something she didn't usually posess, she was meeting Zarin's father. She wondered if Zarin had felt this way when he met her father? It hadn't occured to her at the time.

"Hullo." She whispers, her watery blue eyes smiling though she moved close to Zarin her shoulder pressed gently against his side.

Tulivu continued to grin as he watched his father and brother reunite. For that one moment, it seemed like they were a proper family again, as if none of them had ever separated. That wasn't the case though, and Tulivu knew that some bad news was still to come. It was up to his father though how he would break it, so he simply stepped back and sat down.

When Zarin introduced the silver female, Tulivu gave a small wave of his paw. "Pleased to meet you." When she moved that little bit closer to Zarin, the young adult's grin widened somewhat. "You go Zarin."

Tumai was pleased to hear that his son had been doing well. "You have certainly found yourself in a beautiful place." He replied, still smiling, before looking around. Aleu would've loved it here.

Pushing the sad thoughts of his former mate aside, Tumai moved towards Siya. "It's a pleasure to meet you." His smile was kind and accepting, as he too jumped to the conclusion that Zarin had found himself a mate. She actually reminded him somewhat of his daughter Fedha'mvi, who in turn, was a spitting image of her mother. When he turned back to Zarin, a rather strained sigh escaped his throat. "Son, there's something I have to tell you."

With Siya by his side, Zarin couldn't help but blush at his brother's words. He knew his brother wanted to tease him, but was glad that there wasn't any more teasing on his part. He just gave his brother a sheepish look before he turned his attention to his father. "I really like it here. I've always hoped that I'd get to show you it someday."

Though, he did catch the sigh that came from his father and arosed some curiosity. It was even more piqued as his father spoke, "What's wrong, Dad?" His eyes, worried, glanced between his father, his brother and Siya.

Siyasura tilted her head softly, her gentle blue eyes growing sad for a moment. Seeing Zarin upsetmadeher heart lurch and all she wanted was to make it better. She stepped forwards slightly and nuzzled at Zarins cheek her tongue lapping out to kiss his face.

"Don't be sad." She whispers in her small, youthful voice.

Tulivu remained silent as he waited for his father to reveal the bad news. It had been quite a blow for him, and he knew it would be the same for his brother. Hopefully though, Zarin would understand once his father had explained everything in full. There really was no avoiding what had happened.

"Zarin...your mother and I...have split up." Tumai's expression was solemn as he went on, attempting to explain to his son what had happened. "Things didn't work out at the Dawn Walkers. Being there put a serious strain on our relationship. Your mother became distant, and no matter how much a tried, there was nothing I could do to help her. I felt powerless." He lowered his head, struggling to go on. He had to though, as his son deserved to know all that had happened. "In the end, we both decided it would be best for us to part ways. I'm sorry."

Although it wasn't his fault that Aleu had changed so dramatically since joining the Dawn Walkers, Tumai still felt some level of guilt, especially towards his offspring. He hoped that he could make up for it now though, by spending time with them.
