I was watching the bonus video that you get with the Legendary Edition of Halo 3 when I saw a video of all the clips in the game. In one part one of the Elites said that the hunters had come to their aid. I sat there for a second thinking... "If they came to help the Elites, then why aren't you allied with them in Halo 3. I searched and never figured out the answer. I would love it if someone could help me with this.

That's a really good question. neutral I never really thought about it but you have a good point. In halo 2, they fight with you to release to elite prissoners and then in Halo 3, there back on the covenants side and you have to fight them again. The only thing I can say is maybe go to bungie.net and ask them why. If they give you an answer, Could you please post there answer here so that I can see it to. biggrin

My friend said the Covenant had a better health plan. I'm not sure I trust him on this though. Haha.

if i had to say why they went back over is .....that the hunters are incapable of a logical dission so the choose the enemy because halo was near compleation makin them the stronger side , thus changin the position for allie to foe to stay on the winning side.......no , not good enough ?

its because the Prophets spoke of The Great Journey and how it was near to begin, and in Halo 3 in one level, the Prophet says "All who believe shall be saved" meaning all who follow him will share the unlimited power of the Forerunners, so the hunters probably returned to the Covenant side because of that.....or Bungie just put them there so the game is harder....idk lol biggrin
